Pretentious derivative click simulator. To call this game a walking simulator is an insult to walking simulators. It is more like a clicking simulator. It’s kinda like if a cut-scene from a JRPG like FF6 got stretched out into a 5-hour game. Terrible forced and corny dialogue, endless unskippable slow motion pans and fades, a story so nonsensical and full of plot holes that it could have only have been conceived of by a moron, “puzzles” so repetitive and simple you can solve them by clicking randomly.Your choices DO NOT MATTER AT ALL. The story just happens. You are there to read text and **** music is good, but EXTREMLY derivative of games like Final Fantasy and Chrono Trigger. Like, it has many of the EXACT same sounds and beats as those games and other JRPGs at times.There is a song at one point (sung well by a professional) but the lyrics! SO BAD. Like what a 23-year art student with no real world experience and English as a second language would write as a “moving” dramatic song, like almost bad enough that if were used in an episode of South Park you would think it was a joke. I passed the headphones to my wife (a trained singer) at one point, after ten seconds she shook her head and said “embarrassing.”I have NO idea how this game scores as high as it does or gets the review scores as high as it does.I can only assume that friends and family of the game devs have flooded sites with positive reviews and there is some friendships with gaming journalists to get positive reviews. What they are TRYING to do is actually kinda cool, the core idea is there, the execution is just extraordinarily BAD. SO SO SO BAD. DO NOT BUY. DO NOT GET FOR FREE. DO NOT WASTE 5 HOURS OF YOUR LIFE PLAYING.

I really wanted to like this game, the first one was great. But it just doesn't do it for me. Too much grinding, too many cutscenes, too little explanation of systems and skill checks, too much text.... its just not nearly as fun as the first game.

This is not a game. This is someone scanning in a "choose your own adventure" book into a computer with a bunch of IF...THEN statements. Not fun. Not pretty. Not good. Embarrassing that this even got on steam - I can think of much better games that haven't.

Compared to the greatness that was Mass Effect 2, this is an embarrassment. A complete mess **** that clearly started out with one vision and then ended up being assaulted by competing visions as the project neared completion. Also, the number of homosexual characters is absurd: basically it's possible for almost any of the main characters to become involved in a sexual relationship, regardless of sex. There are only a couple consistently heterosexual main characters. This makes no sense as most estimates put practicing homosexuals at around 1% of the population. It would be like **** that had a normal distribution of diverse characters suddenly made half of the people in the next game Lebanese Christians - crazy, jarring and really takes you out of the experience. While we're on the subject, the animation is terrible and the female characters have been what I can only describe as "reversed airbrushed" in order to be less attractive than the real life models on whom they are based. Like I said, this game is bonkers. You get the feeling playing this game that somewhere along the way, a good game with a lot of potential was hijacked by a political message and then beating the gamer over the head with that message became more important than the game itself. So, yea, it's pretty ****
