Namco Museum8

This pack could use some more games, and the original Pacman Championship Edition would have been nice, but it does come with some rarely ported gems like Splatterhouse, Tank Force, Rolling Thunder 2 and Galaga '88 making for a very attractive package for arcade fans who already have a million copies of other Namco classics.

Turrican Flashback Collection5
Feb 2, 2021
Would be a 9 for leaving out a few things like Super Turrican 2 and the C64 games but as of this post I can only give it a 5 as Mega and Super Turrican consistently crash. The Amiga titles run flawlessly at least.

Street Fighter V4
Feb 17, 2016
If you're a hardcore Street Fighter player, buy it. The fighting itself is great. If you're anybody else wait until the game is more complete because there's very little content. The current version is practically early access.

Blood Stone: 0078
Nov 20, 2015
Blood Stone is not going to blow your mind with anything new and you'll breeze through the short campaign quickly but no other Bond game has come this close to replicating the action of the films, and that's exactly what you play a Bond game for in the first place. If you're a fan of Craig's take on bond and you can find this game cheap you'll undoubtedly enjoy it. Just don't go into it expecting an original take on the cover-shooter genre or a huge AAA experience.

Earth Defense Force 202510

If you're into AAA titles with loads of polish, deep gameplay and cinematic stories... then you probably don't want to play EDF 2025. If you've ever been elitist about games needing to be art or you require cutting edge graphics and professionally acted voices then just don't bother, stay far away from this game. However... If you're into arcade action, humongous swarms of enemies and just blowing up everything in sight with B-movie charm and without concern for polish or professionalism, just pure, simple and totally ridiculous gameplay, then give it a go. It improves upon EDF 2017 in every way imaginable, even taking the good ideas from the western developed Insect Armageddon such as character classes. If you're already a fan of this series, you know exactly what to expect. Everything you love about it is here in larger quantities than before. All of the cheese and unapologetic lack of polish is back and I wouldn't want it any other way. I'm glad developers like Sandlot are still out there to make games that focus on arcade style fun as their primary goal. They're a dying breed. EDF 2025 is a niche gem that will be seen as schlock by many but greatly appreciated by the people it clicks with.

The Legend of Zelda: A Link Between Worlds10

The lowest review scores are from Destructoid and The Escapist so it's safe to say this is a great game that people who don't contrarily hate something because it's popular will really enjoy.

Armored Core: For Answer8
Sep 4, 2013
Though the aggregate score doesn't reflect it the game is a significant improvement over the disappointing Armored Core 4 with slightly better control, weapons sound effects that pack more of a punch, a great sense of scale and for the most part more interesting missions. The customization menus are also streamlined a bit better making that aspect of the game less of a headache without sacrificing complexity for those who want to dig deeper. There are still frustrating missions as From Software is known for producing difficult games, but on the whole they don't feel as unbalanced as those in AC4 which were either incredibly short and easy or controller-throwing difficult. The graphics aren't perfect but the destructible environments are a lot of fun and the mechs themselves still look great. Those looking for a good story should look elsewhere as you'll have a hard time caring about the confusing tale of corporate warfare, but story is something that the series has rarely focused on. While I would still limit my recommendation to fans of the series, For Answer is much more playable and polished than AC4 and a worthy addition to the franchise.

Crackdown8
Jul 26, 2012
People who put this game down must be anti-fun. Crackdown is a perfect example of how not all games need deep stories or complex game mechanics. Sometimes just giving you the tools to explore an interesting city and blow it up is enough. The setting is very reminiscent of Robocop with a city running wild and a shady law enforcement corporation using their newest science-created superhero (in this case a genetically engineered super-soldier instead of a cyborg) to retake the streets with excessive force. It's simple and short but the action is fun and highly addictive. You can spend hours just leaping around the city like Spider-Man, descending only to rain death upon gang members. There are cars as well like Grand Theft Auto but to be honest I hardly ever used them since your character is incredibly mobile once he's leveled up. For those of you looking for a deeper, more cinematic experience, Crackdown probably isn't for you. But if you're looking for a mindless and addicting action game to blow throw on a boring weekend Crackdown is a good candidate that will cost you next to nothing these days. If you like other straight-up action third person games on the 360 like Vanquish and Earth Defense Force 2017, by all means check this one out.

Midway Arcade Treasures9
Oct 11, 2011
An excellent compilation of some of the best arcade classics of the 80's. Some of my all time favorites like Defender and Spy Hunter are present though there are a few duds like Bubbles. The majority of the games are great however and many include cool videos and other historical information. It's much better done than the Namco Museums on the Gamecube.
