A complete slap in the face for Avatar fans. Only buy it at a discount to get some value for your money.

What should have been an incredible celebration of the franchise is a massive disappointment on the Nintendo Switch. The developers completely abandoned Switch players at launch. While other platforms got exclusive pre-order bonuses like the Samurai Appa skin, we were left entirely empty-handed. To make matters worse, the Deluxe Edition is entirely missing on this platform, meaning we are locked out of the Year 1 Pass and the character voting pool right out of the gate. But the lack of content isn't even the worst part—the actual state of the game is a complete mess. It is absolutely riddled with input lag, jarring bugs, and atrocious frame rate drops that make a fast-paced 2D fighter completely unplayable. We paid full price for an unfinished, stripped-down port that lacks crossplay and basic optimization. Do not buy this version until it is heavily patched. Avoid at all costs.
