I'm a huge fan of Elder Scrolls 3-5. I played the original Oblivion when it was released; it's really nostalgic for me. The remaster, which is essentially a remake because too much has been changed, is well-intentioned, but it doesn't capture the Oblivion feel at all. It feels like a speedrun. The player moves too fast, the enemies are far too easy to defeat on normal difficulty, there's no challenge. Plus, it's only spoken in English; I miss the German language, which is how I exclusively played this game.

As a huge fan of Monster Hunter World, with 350+ hours invested, and having enjoyed Monster Hunter Rise, I had high hopes for Wilds. After spending 16-17 hours completing the story, facing around 16 different monsters, I can say that Monster Hunter Wilds left me disappointed. ### Visuals and Performance Played on performance-mode on Xbox Series X (for not having input-lag in quality-mode). The graphics reminded me of the PS2 era. Many low-res textures. Some texture pop-ins. Some frame rate drops. Stiff facial animations. Forest biome looks dull green, leaves and plants flicker through low resolution, and distant figures are animated stuttered. Sandlayer over equipment is just faded out the current textures. Worlds on PC with a Geforce released in 2019 looked very much better than Wilds on Xbox Series X. Clipping error at the Gear that you had to craft at the beginning. ### Gameplay and Mechanics The gameplay is auto-run, arena, auto-run, arena, in repeating places places. There is no interaction with the world. Combat goes too long - when the monster is dying (skull icon), its clear that the monster has no chance, but it maintains a big Health pool for wasting time.Combat camera too distant, removing the sense of immersion. Less impact-feedback due to less camera wobble (I play Charge Blade). Charge Blade Sword hit feedback sound is very sharp, feels like it damages my brain. The auto-run mount mechanic disconnects from the world, I found myself checking my phone while riding. Auto-run is not intended anytime, which becomes frustrating. Too many GUI pop-ups during combat, no time to read. Auto-aim when being under a monster leads to weird camera behavior. Heavy Bowgun sound design worsened, it sounds like a toy, at least moving is better and special ammo reloads faster.Walking over defeated monster is not working well. Camera looking up/down changing angle or somewhat, making it wobbly. Camera went in a box in a cutscene. Red shining weakpoints on monsters disturbs. Cat says repetitive stuff. Suddenly not clear what to do, mission goal no longer on map. Suddenly no smithy available, not able to change map, not able to get better gear to better beat the next monster. Exploit where you can shoot from **** the first big ice monster, I got warm, it was more like Worlds, also with the music design. Odogaron was cool introduced, but quickly almost only ran away, broke immersion. ### Story and World Story is ok. Felyne companion is funny. There is no real open world it's again a series of tunnels and arenas. The monster introductions lack the epic flair that previous titles had. Monster names disappear too quickly, some of them are on white background making them hard to read. Roars are not intimidating. Monsters are most of the time too small. Monster animations are less fluid. Some illogical writing in cutscenes. Startup screen let you initially look into a cup of dark brown thin weather, reminding on diarr..a. Getting thrown into an online lobby by default broke immersion, I had to Google how to disconnect. ### Difficulty and Balancing The game feels too easy. On your defeat, craft 1-2 better pieces with materials you already have, there is no need of “Oh, I have to grind some previous monsters to get better gear, to progress”. A mission threw three identical monsters at you, requiring you to separate them, this felt more annoying than challenging, it seemed to be designed to frustrate. ### Final thoughts The game never truly grabbed me. I find myself longing to Monster Hunter World. Monster Hunter Wilds feels like a step backward.

Pros: More realistic than you're used to, but not as much freedom as in Skyrim. (Initially) Captivating story, good animations, cinematic. Lots of attention to detail (Initially) World feels alive, enough events happening. Feeling of progression is ok, but everything is too clunky/bulky. (Initially) Save only when sleeping at home wakes up risk/reward. Overloaded walking through the forest to the village at night was relaxing. After 25 hours of struggling I can finally afford good armor and defeat small groups. Cons: Some too short plots.Maincharacter telled to an NPC something that didn’t happened. Clipping errors. You can't estimate how difficult the encounters are and you lose a lot of progress.I had to turn off music. Too repetitive. Sprinting for a long time makes it unrealistic. Also the stash to horse, or shared chest. Romances, at first it was romantic, but after that it was all about sex for her, she didn't want a relationship, just friendship with certain benefits. “Cheating” with that queen was not intended. Then the first romance was disappointed, she talked about cheating, but I couldn't control it, but the Maincharacter played along. She didn't even want a relationship beforehand. FOV too zoomed out, even on lowest setting. Too few setting options. Sleep can be cancelled, travel not. When the Sandbox aspect kicked, I lost connection to the main story, romance and items I wanted to keep.I hunted wild pigs and slugged back to the city and made almost 1k money each travel. Money problem solved. Fighting in the forest lets you walk over high bushes, lets you fall down and hurt yourself. NPC said he would teach me something, he didn’t. Bugged sidequests. Old priest has a young voice. The best armor doesn't help, as soon as the stamina is gone you have no chance against 2 equipped ones. A Bossfight was too easy. Audio Bugs in cutscene. Some conversation options in the main quest became not marked as done. I started to skip dialogues because stories are being retold, or become too boring. Main quest, (Merhojed) too much searching, too cryptic. I can question the prisoner, he is in the shed. But which shed? I had to google it, others had the problem too. They always say goodbye, doesn't always make sense. Shield keeps getting unequipped. Sometimes complicated to reach quest point due to multiple building layers. Main quest, stuck again. Too much searching around, talking around, unclear tasks. Simply marked the entire city.Mostly easy to digest quests that you can do while half asleep, but in the main quest there were two complicated things where if you didn't listen carefully (you can't always repeat dialogues) you pretty much lost. Started to skip dialogues, it's supposed to be about revenge against his parents, now he's doing endless detective work about something else. Shield of the knight with a muzzle is known as stolen even though it does not have a stolen icon.Again unclear main quest. The game now forces you to listen carefully and remember stuff, just now when it's getting boring. Again I find Reddit articles about it. You (quest designer) can't expect that after 47 hours of playing time where NPC walks were unimportant, that gamers pay such attention to that, so that they can proceed with the main quest. Dialogue options that make no sense because the matter is already done. There are hardly any options for solving problems with money, and a lengthy fist fight often escalates. Main quest, another quest marker that I have no idea how to get to, Reddit. When an NPC walked down a stair there was a brief falling animation. Random encounters are scaled. Guard wanted to lock me up for 'carrying corpse', but I only carried an unconscious person after a fistfight from the main quest. Mainchar played along. Fist fight just spam L1. Main quest, again I can't get any further, google. So now I've had enough. Main quest NPC tells me to steal money from someone to give it to him. But I have 10k in my pocket and could give him as much as he wants. But this option does not exist. I've had enough now. The rest doesn't interest me anymore after what I messed around with in the main quest. Ok, I still have to get a letter from the guy out of his pocket anyway, but I don't want my character to become a thief, but that's forced in the main quest. I'm like, OK, last chance, maybe I can just talk to him. But I can't find him (he was sitting next to the main NPC earlier), neither in the house nor outside, he got up right before and went towards the door because he got drunk. But now he's gone. After all the googling for the main quest, it will definitely continue like this. At the beginning, when I started having fun, I thought I would do all the side quests and also buy the DLC's, would have given a solid 8/10, but from around the middle of the main quest, everything just went downhill. I played for 50 hours. Uninstall.

Annoying movement throttle when walking sideways with controller. Climbing session bugged. Backtracking. Too many riddles. Zoom controller sensitivity too high. Distant animations are stuttery. Quicktime events confusing. Too much annoying moustache robots that waste time. Drop item into 5 places, like a fetch quest. Some too perverted stuff. Uninstall.

I liked the first game, this one was a bit disappointing. Some weird animations. Basic Parcouring. 30 FPS on Series S. Enemy reset not affecting killed friends in Story. Texture pop ins. Fat sister boss recycled and concluded badly. I expected a linear game, not pseudo openworld area. Sword styles wer thrown at me, were not earned. Pseudo open world designed for mounts designed, did not became a mount. Fauna annoys. Hardcrash. After puzzles it wasn't clear how to proceed, you could only go back instead of forward, the game had already set the next destination on the map but it was unintuitive. Suddenly there was a feature to ask BD for help, even though I was already super effective and knew what to do. Normal difficulty is too easy, in the first game it was perfectly balanced for heavy hearthpumping moments. No zoom on point of interest. Nobody wanted Housing/Gardening. Inconsistent quality. Clipping error also in cutscenes. Good droid humor like in clone wars. Dumb boss text "dont do it again". Dialogues can be interrupted (not cutscenes). Echoes activation animation slows flow down. Too much talking in cutscenes. Some good written moments. Bored, skipped enemies. I forgot what the meta goal is. Yeah put an audio log activation on a chasing mission. Destroying walkers was too perfectly aligned on perfectly prepared rails to destroy them. Fire looks cheap. Good zoom effects before some boss fights, should have more. Good endboss fight. Sentimemtal BD1 scene was not worth. I make Stealth kill, animation penetrates, then the NPC being killed says something like "nice, a fight". Romance was not romantic. Abyss was not like an abyss. Enemies, even bosses remain in damage area of their own granades. Called mount, it came 2 times (with a clone).

Foreword: I absolutely loved the first title, I found it was pure art combined with gaming, I gave it a 8/10. So I was absolutely excited for the second game. I had high expectations which resulted in big disappointment. Cons: Tough walking simulator right at the beginning. Exploration punishes you with walking all back very slowly. Cursed arm feature was removed, that was a distinctive feature, **** 60 fps on Series X. Too brutal. Too mach walking. Less puzzles. Combats are too long. Monotonous. Special effects at the beginning are cool, get old fast. Its more a Walkingsimulator than a game. Sometimes it felt like Plague Tale 2, nothing **** much chatter with NPCs and the voices become annoying. Always long stretches of running. To stretch time? Extremely easy puzzle. Time stretching. Annoying voices 'There, she has found it..'. You can activate an Audio tape, walk away and it fades out, immersion broken. Steam effect, first 1-2 hours very good, then walking simulator with too simple puzzles. Lamentations for those who drowned but who have already been forgotten."Endless darkness" in the cave, but it is all bright in the cave. Voices tell you everything you have to do in stupid puzzles. I'll soon get tendonitis with the running. Combat is stiff, only one target at a time. In Hellblade 1 it was more free. **** jumpscares, now i hate this game.Chased by zombies, sees a gap, chills in the cutscene to go in there. Voices say she understands everything, but I didn't understand. Claustrophobic feeling (a specific cutscene) is NOT what I want for entertainment. Suddenly the intense cinematics, after a long time of walking around. Short Fire chain section was very nice artistically. After that, walking simulator again. Once 2 drawing puzzles came too close apart. Underwater sequence to make everything even more slow motion. I didn't find the story of the water giant dramatic at all. Combats go too long and repetitive. At least transitions between. If I hear "Stab him in the hearth. He has no hearth." one more time, I will scream. Some invisible walls. "You cant do it", "What makes you think you can kill him", after what she already did? How naive to approach the boss, just talk to him, like the other boss. Voices dont feel anymore like her voices, more a narrator. In the forest when they were separated, someone could have easily jumped over. I made the "choice" unintentionally. At the end, please not another slowmotion diorama mode. Pros: Sound design. Graphics, I guess. Day 1 Gamepass.

I am a die hard fan of the elder scrolls 3-5 and fallout 3-4. And I love science fiction. Elder scrolls and Fallout titles were upgrades of each other. Starfield is merely an upgrade of The Outer Worlds which I didn’t like. Animations Strange stuttery animation when walking and turning. Walking in 1st person is like gliding. Too exaggerated running animation. Leveldesign Levels are so stretched like in an MMORPG. Conversations Missing the important last sentence on the screen of a conversation with an NPC when answering. NPCs in the background talk while i can choose an answer in a conversation, but i can't concentrate on reading while people talk in the background, just shut up NPCs in the background. I'm so not interested in listening to all conversation options, the options are so not interesting. Unlike Skyrim, I listened to every single dialogue and enjoyed every second. Faction chief of main quest faction (with way too much eye makeup), first makes impression of an emancipated boss, chief of the faction, but as she 5 minutes later becomes companion, she smiles like a clown, ends conversation with "bybye", how unprofessional. Mission design In the flight tutorial, the assistant talks when it's too hectic. When landed, the assistant sometimes talks too quietly. Letting me miss game content. Strange annoying sound bug in early mission. As a player we are unwillingly thrown into the main story faction, 5 minutes later we talk with a pirate chief in a pirate base (whyever game the designer designed that the we wants to risk our live for the new faction yet), and we have to choose the conversation "stop to attack our bases"? Since when are we so loyal to the faction?! Don't know how to jump to the next destination in space, even if the destination is marked, there is a red text which says i have to activate the gravimotor, but how? I figured it out after experimenting with the engine allocation stuff, but that will be too complicated for most players. Reward system Reached level 2, still in kind of a tutorial, already found an epic item. Environment Books cant be read. Armour of killed enemies can not be taken. Levels of enemies let the game feel like a looter shooter. When you arrive at the first colonised world, beautiful at first glance, the first thing you hear from an NPC walking by is "i will soon leave here for good", so thanks for destroying the picture. Technique Only 30 fps. Clunky first person shooting. Some too small texts. Walking and combat feels clunky like The Outer Worlds. Texture pop ups during conversation in main quest, level 3. Pause menu gives annoying loud music, sorry but let me pause to take a call or talk to my wife, just shut up, I have to mute the TV. Fanservice Missing Italian voice acting, which Skyrim and Fallouts had. Sounddesign Excellent Now I have already had enough of this game. Normally I watch reviews after completing a game, but here I have to make an exception, after such a bad first impression. But I already see an uninstall soon. The good thing about Starfield is, I don't have to spend my time with this, and I can play other, better games. I would rather play Skyrim or Fallout 4 again. Please, don't let Elder Scrolls 6 be a disappointment like Starfield.

No exploration. Just do what the Mission Text tells you what to do, even when you deplete some energy, your prioritized mission is to craft the fuel. Its just grind and fulfill the next predefined task. Not like Ark, where you set your own goals and where you find handcraftet caves, here all is the same and predictable. Bad GUI, had to google a few times just to know how to craft, obtain, or find a bought item in the inventory. Too many scripted events, feels too constructed (forced encounters on space, flying-by NPCs exactly where i am on the planet), its not sandboxy. Had a small high while building a base, lost all motivation again when picked up the missions. Even the main missions are the identical takeoff-jump-land-run-activate-grind-repeat gameplay loop over and over, just to get the next little piece of story. Helping a fleet being attacked by pirates will punish you, as soon you hit the fleet ship accidentally, you loose standing, standing with is annoyingly grinded with the annoying faction missions. Then after killing 5 waves of annoying enemies, with a bullet sponge miniboss at the end, you get nothing for this. Just wasted time and standing. Fuel draining is just getting annoying, forces you to do more dull meteor grind between your tasks, while you are often being attacked from pirates where you almost can't escape.

I very much loved Elex 1 back then on PC, but I am disappointed with Elex 2 on Xbox Series S. Performance: The “optimized for Xbox Series X/S” label is a big lie, it is even very stuttery on performance mode. 60fps exists only when looking at a mountain wall in front of the face. Game freezed during save. Game freezed and hard crashed during play. Mission design: There are Multiple backtrackings in early missions. It's no fun being taken for a fool by the NPC just because the quest designer doesn't write the dialogue well. Mission chain proceeds without marking the next automatically accepted mission as the current mission. Too much talking after 8 hours so far. Constant struggle in XP, forcing me to do dialogue quests instead of exploring the world. After 40 hours all the dialogues became lengthy, it was enough. Wanted to complete the game finally. In the end I skipped almost all the dialogue. Many backtrackings and some fetch quests (eg. kill 15 curators) in main missions. During the end battle, a companion forced-talk me to do her own quest. Endboss was pathetically easy. End cutscene was a low quality video. After the end boss, a scripted scene ported me outside of the dungeon, but the last companions quest wanted to talk with all companions, and my last companion was still deep in the dungeon, and I had to run all the way back, just because the developers decided to teleport me outside. After the bonus mission, a very slow and prolonged summary of the entire story came up. It was so massively boring, I stopped it after the 3rd slide started. And each slide showed multiple short texts, one by one. The infinite jetpack unlock felt like a bug (or it is a bug), until I remembered that there was a short log entry "Master jetpack something". No celebration or popup message, no indication or whatsoever. Dialogues: Outlaw companion hates me, tries to kill me, his boss orders him to follow me, 5 min later you say to him "stay in the Bastion", and the companion says as if nothing happened "yeah sure". Too often you are sold as a stupid player. Options are offered just so that the NPC can say that you're stupid. But when the options are offered, as a player you expect content, missions or something. Sometimes the NPCs say that you are persistent and you get a new mission, but sometimes people call you an idiot or an **** With such a big sacrifice that Caja had to make, she was still happy like “:-) everything is fine, thank you :-)”. Models: Again recycled faces. Eyebrows on top of hairs. Level design: Too big halls, NPC runs while talking. Less motivated to explore than in Elex 1, many locations are empty and just placeholders for later missions. Animations: Running on stairs sometimes makes a climb animation. Dialogue animations are 99% super stiff, then the romance scene is overacted. Companions: Companion gets teleported to the most upper part of the open world area (where I never was before), after the Billy Idol forced cutscene. Drone was supposed to be a big friend of Jax, but has the most boring Companion missions. Some companions were not returning to Bastion. Son can just be left unprotected and I can jetpack through the sky, he ports to me immediately. Progression: After 11 hours of play, I was level 11 and still had 79 Attribute points left. I only spent points for an intelligence dialogue and to wield a basic sword. Completionist achievement is a wrong naming, it's just completing the main story. Combat: During fights a stamina info popup prevents you from defending yourself and lets you die. Humanoids again have predictable combat behavior. Meele does unwanted unbreakable animation, when attacking during a sprint. When knowing the AI behavior, it's easy to combat. In the dungeons, I could just run through them. Auto Aim focuses on enemies which are more distant, and thus not intended to be aimed to. Conclusion: First 30 hours with the faction quests were fun. Next 20 hours to the end were rather boring. End was rushed with illogical plot progress and no effort in concluding remaining quests in any context to the ending, as if the final battle had still to be done.

After 80 hours, and after starting a second character, the motivation is gone, and I need new content and more flexible character building. TL;DR I liked Diablo 3 and Path of Exile more. # Gameplay Hitfeedback is not that satisfying. Ability variety is less than in previously mentioned games. Levelling was exciting in Diablo 3, each level gave you something new to try. In Diablo 4, you unlock a section where you can try 4-5 Skills, where only one skill may be fun to use. Then you have to grind too long with levelling multiple levels, to unlock the next skill set to try new skills. The more you level, the longer it takes to unlock the next set. You can't observe how your Experience bar goes up, it will be covered by an annoying status information. In Diablo 3, it was exciting to see that bar going up, depending on the amount of kills, and difficulty. For looting, it is missing a feature from Diablo 3, which would indicate whether the loot would increase a stat or not. Now, you have to loot, go to menu, navigate to the item, then decide what to do with it. Bosses are very bullet spongy, and become monotonous quickly, you will see when doing dungeons. I reduced the difficulty and renounced Experience boost, just to get over with this a bit faster. Sometimes it becomes a pure endurance minigame, seeing the health bar of the boss going down so slowly, while repeating the same pattern. Bosses have too easy mechanics. Path of Exile bosses are designed better. Elites of different races share combat patterns, and also behave very predictable after having fought a few of them. If I see one more jump-smash attack of an elite, I will scream. When you have found your favourite skill set from the skill tree, that’s it. There is not much change for the skills on how they behave. The only thing that changes with those endgame boards, are a few more attribute points here, a few more % damage there. Not like in Path of Exile, where you can significantly modify the behaviour of skills, also in the endgame. I also started a second character, and it's still the same feeling, just with other skills. In Path of Exile, you can have all those skills with just one character. One ultimate skill from the bow class (arrow rain), is a standard skill in Path of Exile. It’s laborious to change the world level. In Diablo 3 you could switch fluently between world levels, right from the pause/character menu. On level 51, I was still waiting for the feeling which Diablo 3 and Path of Exile gave me. It becomes extremely monotonous, when doing map completion, riding from A to B, just to experience the same again and again. Enemies become monotonous. Sometimes, the enemy just walks around you, sticking on you. After unlocking the third, and last interesting endgame board, and unlocking the legendary nodes on all three, I thought “so.. that’s it”? My next goal should be unlocking world level 4. But that means I have to grind until lv 70 with the same monotonous gameplay. No thanks. I miss the sandboxiness of Path of Exile, where I can increase the attack speed almost on my wish, and I miss the combat feeling of both Path of Exile and Diablo 3. # World Main story & atmosphere, good. Impressively good (italian) voice acting. Shared world stuff just distracts, feels cheap like a Lost Ark clone. When I was lv 45, the loot in the main story was for lv 35, even if mission level was scaled to my level. World boss, almost no hit feedback, and also just a bullet sponge with repetitive and predictable behaviour. Riding from A to B is a pure minimap minigame, typical open-world problem. Secondary missions have very much spoken dialogues, also with many optional dialogues. I find, the game designer(s) should have put more resources into the gameplay. I only did secondary missions, for map completion, for unlocking endgame points. I skipped all secondary mission dialogues, and did not do one more secondary mission, after unlocking all map rewards. The stories of secondary missions were standard secondary stuff. # Technology Xbox live gold subscription for Singleplayer play, is unbelievable. Tips on loading screens go away too quickly.

Tutorial was good, it was a good balance between story and fight. Then you are thrown into a stretched out map filled with annoying enemies. Grapple Hook feature makes no sense, since you have to explore the map on the floor for finding important items. So the Map is designed to grapple hook all over the place like in Arkham City, without sense, just to sell a feature. Enemies are not fun to kill, combat makes not fun, you barely see the stun meter of the enemies, and your lifebar goes down too quickly. When multiple enemies attack, it gets hectic and escape may end on a cliff death. I have not the pacience to pull every enemy at once and do the same combat moves all over again. After monotone fight through the level until reaching a miniboss, i decided to upgrade myself somehow, after all, my experience bar had level 2. But how to become more powerful? I thought lets try at the upgrade guy at the starting zone. Due to a found amulet, the upgrade guy throws me into a new level without my permission, and the level is designed the same, a very long level with annoying enemies to chore through. It was so annoying, at some point ran through, reaching a white-invisible wall, the game forced to do this annoying combat. If the combat was at least more fluid and responsive, I may have forced me through. Also other stuff annoyed me, like press-and-hold-X to loot the money from enemies with a magic magnet (from enemies that may also be far away due to hectic multiple-enemies combat). Or the repetitive combat music, I could not hear it anymore.

I was so excited about this game after hearing a talk from the game designer. But the disappointment was big. When the part with the bullying starts and the dialogue gets interesting, that's when you get annoyed by annoying enemies who destroy the whole moment and where you can't even concentrate on the dialogues to get the content. This is such bad design, it almost wasn't worth the effort to tell a story in the game. A lot of effort was put into mediocre jump and run and annoying enemies.

Campaign: The campaign doesn't blow my mind like MW1 (2019). Strange ghost graphic effects, good visible on tv screens and flying insects. Same missions as MW 1 remaster. Sniper mission was boring and felt unfinished. Pseudo conversation choice is not well voice overed. Too much silence. Breaks pacing. Bulletsponge enemies. Then go back and forth. Some enemy bodies were wheemans. In the tunnel, the walk is slow, also on sprint, but animations indicated running. Enemies not taking cover. Action scenes often boring, no music, feels empty. Car chasing: Car switching is laughable. Accelerate, break, and steer without being in the car, and jump outside like Just Cause. No engine sounds. I taught am I still playing modern warfare? The car chase was too long. And why was this necessary to stick a bomb onto the dead enemy just to throw both back into the car? Just spitefulness. Bad water effects on ship. Shifting containers annoying. No boots on the ground models, so cheated with slow running animation. Running toooo slow on stealth mission. Dead end on camera swapping mission. Multiplayer: Complicated weapon unlock system. No saveable custom gunsmithy at release (again). Grinded sniper to max level, still didnt unlock thermo scope as expected (was so in MW1).

To be clear, I only was interested on the Milf character. The Milf was in all marketings, but the Milf section was over after less than 4 hours. Not interested in the rest of the game if the Milf section is over. The next chapter with the disappearing puppet and the baby monster was too scary and I had to stop the game completely. Some ludonarrative dissonance happened: Milf attacks me while I am going through a door where the merchant is, then a dialogue with the merchant started, while the Milf tried to slaughter me behind me. Merchant's music theme is the best, the rest is generic and forgettable. Excellent italian voice acting.

I am a huge fan of the first plague tale. But there is extremely inconsistent quality across the game. Game started extremely well, had an unpolished first half until the middle, and had its best parts at the end. On Series S it never was 60 fps. There are little graphical improvements. Pre-rendered cutscenes took away the wow-effect. Some in-game cutscenes had framerate drops. Amicias facelift is disappointing. She now has a jaw as if she would be 10 years older than in the previous title, but she and Hugo feel the same as old as in the previous game. I saw the open/close door cutscene too many times. And it is extremely illogical that Amicia slams through every door and locks (often also if no threat was behind) as if nobody could be on the other side, even if there theoretically could everytime be a soldier on the other side. The door animations were surely placeholders that were left in the final version of the game. Amicia lifts woodblocks so that child can pass under, Amicia lays wood blocks down, crawls underneath it (logic?). Amicia opens the heavy hatch halfway and first jumps down and only then did Hugo come behind so that the hatch could already fall on him, but no, the heavy hatch magically stays half open so that he can still elegantly go down afterwards. Ludonarrative dissonance. When arrived to town, right after fighting and fleeing from bandits with fire everywhere, they did jokes as if nothing happened. Amicia said "Ignifer.. I forgot about this" ... after all what she went through in the previous game? Amicia said the rats were “faster, more intelligent”. Not at all. I find them more intelligent in the previous game where they piled up. After going through doors they talk normally as if guards do not exist, which could stand behind the next corner. She walks chilly with her mother by a covered man in rubble while people help him, the game wants that you walk by slowly and chilly. They got to a village where they get treated very well as guests, but they take a grass on flames (very kind). Camera movement was clunky sometimes, as if it would hang on the wall models. Fade to white loading screen blinded me. Chapter 5 was the worst. 5 seconds freeze, motion blur disappeared. I have to move stuff around and walk over there and I have no Idea what their Idea is. Then suddenly "there is ahole, i am going in", out of nowhere and by accident there is a hole to trespass. Confusing stationary balliste snapping on the hay ball, then no reactions when shooting on other things, felt broken. There were side zones where there was nothing to progress or with no collectible, felt just unfinished. On a runaway section, you will stuck and die because the design has a 180 degree curve which no player would expect. Start of chapter 6 felt right overengineered compared to Chapter 5. There is a runaway section where has a dead end, but still there are resources and a collectible. Why to attract players to there, this does so not match with the current situation. When a soldier came for help, and they seem to know eachother, Me: Who the hell is this. Only by his dead I saw his name and saw ah the bad guy which name I also knew accidentally from a pause menu, where I already asked, why has this generic enemy even a name. Big massive soldier magically goes through a “loading screen” gap which was half as thin as himself. When pressing forward before a cutscene ends, animation quickly jumps from run to walk. She jumps right onto vases where she would have to pay extra attention to what she would land because she's not allowed to make any noise. How dumb, Amicia does everyting to pretect Hugo, but she let him go on a wall cliff without hesitate and without holding hands or anything else. One level is too stretched out, too big, doing roleplay and walk through gets old very quickly and you get to run with ludonarrative dissonance. Again 5s freeze, on Chapter XI. What a bad composed riddle with that big door without making logical commands. Again, forced to do what the developer wants. Characters, please simply talk to each other and think. Like on Uncharted. Then they make a “Look at” L3 Button but it is so clear now after all this, what is going to be focused. They go deeper and deeper even if they know there could be no return, this is so contradictory in protecting Hugo. But after all the bad things, the ending! Man the ending was one of the most epic things in gaming history. Really worth of a Plague Tale ending. This let me forgive very much of the inconsistent quality and some rushed things, the ending is something no one should miss. I hope, if a next title would come out, more consistent quality and less chapters would be the best for the game and for the developers.

Extremely streamlined/boring questing, it feels like FF14 or Black Desert. Combat is impressive at the beginning, but gets old and repetitive quickly. You only have a bunch of skills to use, which only a handful are fun to use, and it takes forever to unlock a new skills. In Path of Exile or Diablo 3 it is more fun to experiment with skills because there you have access to more skills in less time. Loot is uninspired, like in retail WoW. Ulti skill is right next to the default skill, so you will waste your ulti a lot accidentally. So customizing hotkeys is required. Sound effects are good. Music is forgettable.

Pure psychological test. They collect data on how people would behave on certain circumstances. Game started interesting with a sad backstory (but went too long, I taught the entire game consists on taking story decisions and walking for 10 meters sometimes). The advisor is so annoyingly immature and **** that it entirely destroyed the emotions built up in the prologue. They try to keep you motivated (to tell more about youself, your psychological schema) with cheap tricks like laying bras and woman underwears around, with naked **** in the lake, and with a pseudo funny and immature **** advisor. You can even respond to the advisor on the same immaturity level.

I am talking as a Halo veteran, which also completed Halo 1 on Xbox 1 on legendary in solo mode. Cheap gunplay. Cheap mission design. You are forced to kill all enemies in an area in order to press a button for progression. There was a back tracking fetch task just to have time to listen to a boring audiolog. Bad checkpoints. Bullet sponge boss has health bars as if the game was a loot shooter. Halo 1 on Xbox 1 had more fluid respawn behavior, here you have a loading screen in between. You even have a loading screen between the underground to the open world area. Remember Halo 1 on Xbox 1? The loading times there were smooth and only a fraction of a second. Dual-weaponing is missing here. Aim assist is too invasive. Cheap animations on gameplay. Guys try this, look down to see your boots, and turn left and right and look at the lowerbody being detached from the upper body. Cheap movement animation, as if you would glide. Running does not make you much faster and adds weird lines for a pseudo speed feeling, which also often point to the wrong direction. Flying ships seem to follow invisible rails instead of levitating. Cortana replacement is trying to be funny and trying to show some sort of feeling, which does not fit into her role. I've just reached the open world surface an forced me through some mobs, and when I think of having to go through a Ubisoft kind of gameplay, and after I saw the game quality already, I can only say no thanks, I dont have the time for this outdated and unpolished gameplay. Cutscenes were good until now, but the gameplay is just a massive downgrade even compared to Halo 1. Halo triology from Bungie remains the best.

I gave it a chance even with the theme that I dont like with the teenage target group, with those hip/punk/porkhelmet/clothes stuff, and those immature sentences. Because sometimes I like the Ubi formula, I enjoyed Farcry 5. But here the gameplay is more generic and unpolished. Sometimes I accidently jumped to a camera because the distraction feature was not reloaded yet (they have the same button mapping), which was very annoying. Also sometimes you cant see how long the damn reload for the distraction feature needs. When trying to at least finish the story, the already boring gameplay slows you down even further, with an infiltration mission where you cant run, and which is done 100 times better in Hitman. The main missions changes from one plot to another, when it starts to get interesting, it cuts off and starts a new story with a spoken sentence like "it hurts to let go that person, but we have to find out more about the new thing". I thinked about to force me through this further, I saw that I had a playtime of 5 hours, and the internet said that the main story takes about 18 hours, so I only said no thanks. I dont want to waste my time further, for almost 2 times the same amount of time that I already spent.

Multiplayer: Blurry on Series S, Modern Warfare on PS4 Slim was not blurry. Boring challenges, you will unlock them by playing as normal, so no working through specific challenges anymore, MW was designed better here. Battlepass GUI is low-quality 30FPS, like in Black Ops. Dog killstreaks are way to overpowered, dogs are literal bullet sponges and does one-hit kills. No Ground War this time, neither an alternative, which feels like a rip off. MVP voting system is wasting too much time, and having to watch the uninteresting operators with the animations is boring and annoying. I still have fun with the multiplayer, but I really miss long-range big battles like Ground War from MW. Gampaign: Cool, entertaining, but superfical. Finetuning is missing. Stutterings and lags between loading areas. Enemies that shoot and kill me while being in a non-cancellable conversation with an NPC due to the main story. Enemies spawn in out of nowhere. Some enemies are infinite until you trigger a specific action. Enemy AI not taking cover. Corpses dissapear very fast. High quality cinematics and music. Overall, its a WW2 reskin of MW that already had a good foundation. But it still needs finetuning and a Ground War alternative.

This game needs so much patience. The story and voice acting seems to be good. But the gameplay is very basic, so boring that i almost only ran through the levels like rambo and meele killed the guards. Quest hub is designed badly, a conversation forced me to go to bed, only to find the way back like in a labyrinth, to the same position and with the same NPCs again, well thanks for this cutoff. Next mission took me into the sewers, where the exit was glitched and broke the immersion. Next mission took me back to the location where i already did a mission, this is calling recycling.

Played on PC on its release and waited with excitement for the release on Xbox Series S, and I am very dissapointed. Cursor/menu input lag. Only 30 fps. Low resolution. Tutorial icons not matching with Hotas. Where is the damn active pause, it is just not on the left in the toolbar like in youtube videos, its just not there, the most important feature in the game, Plane just STOP for a moment and let me breathe. Where is the damn active-pause mode, done 5 tutorials, never heard of it yet, now I have to search it on this overloaded options and/or in the internet. Internet says that it is still so that the plane works in the background, but there was a discussion on the PC version that it should be a bug, so when its also on Xbox like that, then there is no point of looking at the world when you quickly pass the POIs, because using active pause lets crash you your plane, even if you didnt crash, and you have to restart the flight. Dumb menu UI cant decide if use controller or joystick cursor, I click on pause to restart the flight with X, then I cant confirm the popup with CONTINUE or CANCEL with the controller like in any other dumb game, I have to switch to cursor mode (move left stick), then move the laggy cursor to the button, then press A. Cant close the damn ATC window with the pseudo mouse cursor on the X icon. Already had to mute the voices because the tower messages are pi**ing me off. After moving the pointer around and button mashing on the controller I could close the window with the cursor, it seems to be a focus problem with the crappy GUI.
