Lost Ark

Lost Ark feels like a reward after so many hashed-out and rocky launches of new games. You know what you’re getting with Lost Ark, it’s an experience that has already been through the tests and tribulations of its first two years of content. Its story won’t speak to everyone, but the endgame experience is worth a few cutscenes here and there. Lost Ark is one of the most polished titles I’ve played for some time, especially an MMO.

A massive time sink which needs an entire rainforest of sticks to shake at. Just grab it and jump in.

Amazon Game’s second run at the MMO market is very impressive. The years of content already created for Lost Ark provide an enticing package filled to the brim with fun activities and exciting locals to explore. Each class is wonderfully unique, and the customization systems allow for an abundance of freedom to tailor to a variety of playstyles. I’ve had a great time with Lost Ark in these early days, and I’m looking to sink many more hours into it with friends over the coming weeks and months. Those looking to scratch an Action/RPG itch or sink time into an MMO won’t go wrong giving this adventure a fair shot.

With so many studios trying to hit the coveted MMO market, one thing is clear if you want to succeed - your game has to be unique. You can make up for tonnes of mistakes if you can just carve out a market for it. Although it has its own issues of identity - with a Diablo-like fighting system and enough extra activities to feel full - Lost Ark is a game that I'm looking forward to seeing grow.

Excellent combat and a stunning sense of scale help steer Lost Ark through its more tired MMO conventions.

Lost Ark offers some supremely satisfying combat with some souped-up Diablo-esque sensibilities but it’s also quite the grind to see what the game really offers. Don’t count on it feeling like a regular open-ended MMO as this one feels tightly entrenched in its endgame focus. Fun it may be for a time, it soon turns into effort that makes you less keen to keep on returning.

An sich ist Lost Ark ein gelungenes MMORPG, weil es mit Freunden richtig Spaß machen kann. Jupp, die Betonung liegt auf "kann" weil, ich finde es gibt viel zu viel an Hauptstory und Nebensächliches... manchmal verliert man den Überblick und da verliert man etwas die Lust, am Ball zu bleiben. Ansonsten wenn man was Schönes sehen möchte und trotzdem Herausforderung sucht, nimmt man ein Buddy mit auf die Dungeon Quests und wählt ein anderen Schwierigkeitsgrad aus. Also dafür nur 7 von 10 mayfusion points

Where it seems most games are hardly worth the time to play Lost Ark is the exception. The writers of lore seem to be initiates into some mysteries. Even some of the fan base, the way they seem to analyze the goings on in Arkesia and Petrania (The worlds of Lost Ark) seem to be of another class. It is in fact similar to other games as far as the story / lore goes, but it’s not just killing demons (although it has a lot of that too !). Planets and stars from our own solar system, such as Regulus are revered and worshipped, making this game more believable and in turn, immersing the player in the story and game. From the lore, to the soundtrack to the graphics and character design this game excels.I can hardly believe i took a break for 3-4 months only to play other popular games. To get disconnected every day, multiple times a day. To experience graphics bugs and glitches, UI bugs and glitches each and every **** this only helped me to realize how poor alot of these other popular games are and how superior Lost Ark is. In fact, if i can recall, i dont think ive been disconnected once on Lost Ark and i dont think ive ever experienced any bugs or glitches .There is alot going on in this game, the ways to improve your character and abilities can be overwhelming at times and honing can seem next to impossible, even to finish the main story. However it is worth sticking with this game.

Visuellement bien et a de la profondeur. Mais, comme les autres disent, très axé sur le payer pour avancer. Je n'ai pas de problème à payer pour un jeu. En fait, je trouve ça normal. Mais là, c'est abusif et ça peut raidement coûter très cher. Le jeu est aussi un peu trop complexe à mon goût. Les combats de type mortal combat avec constamment des cris me tombent sur les nerfs. Histoire insipide.
