There will be a variety of opinions, but I felt inclined to give it an almost perfect score. I never played the first Dragon's Dogma, but I found the pawn system to be very complete. Elements such as lantern fuel and luggage weight are seemingly inconvenient, and pawns generally make up for what could have been the game's problem areas, such as guiding you on unknown quests. Also, the world is a straightforward fantasy, yet immersive and free, and I was pleased to have a very enjoyable gaming experience.

There were no glaring bugs, but it was the most boring game I've played in recent memory.Sure, the Pokemon were cute and the voice acting was good. However, the pacing of the game was poor, and after spending time going right and left to find the obvious answer and listening to Pikachu's irrelevant stories in between, the game finally moved on to deductions. If the presentation had been more elaborate, there might not have been such a burden.
