i remember this game fondly as a kid, but sadly it doesn't hold up that well. the controls are super clunky, and far more refined in the 3rd game as well as deadlocked.

rpg elemnets are amazing, but the moment to moment gameplay is boring af. sad I can't play it

This game is horrendously terrible. Literally a cash grab., Back tracking levels, one entire level spent without weapons, no weapon upgrades, bolts are next to useless, no side missions, no clank gadgets, no new weapons.

the soundtrack is out of this world, so memorable and perfectly in-sync with the gameplay, especially the ost that plays during the mirrors level. the story is charming, gameplay is challenging but fair, and the controls are tight.

Decent game, similar to Odyssey as it's the same dev team. + Good combat + Beautiful visuals +/- it doesn't do anything exceptional, but all elements are decently good. it's a very generic, forgettable game - Too many cutscenes, unskippable - Puzzles are tiring and bothersome rather than difficult

AC Valhalla does alot of things decently well, but nothing great. The combat, quests, map, and story are all decent. After 25 hours of gameplay, I feel like there's nothing more to see. Looking at others' reviews, I might need another 30 hours to complete the game which is far too long. There's no urgency or requirement to upgrade your gear; I've been using the same gear from level 1 to level 110. The skill upgrade system is convoluted and the skills themselves are boring. There isn't enough assassination, AC Odyssey had a better combat and assassination system. Graphics are good, but it doesn't run too well on a 1060 6gb. decent game overall, not worth full price.

MMO experience in a single player game. why? the combat is a massive step up from the previous 2 games. I can't tell if Cassandra has a terrible voice actor or terrible dialogue writer. But she seems so uninterested in the world. Too many map markers akin to Assassin's Creed style. Needs a better fast travel system. Dragon Age Origins is far better than this, and I don't even like Origins either.

short, charming indie game. played it till i reached the top then put it aside, took me 1 hour. could probably squeeze another hour with more of the side stories. soundtrack is wonderful. graphics are beautiful, I preferred the smallest pixel size in the graphics setting options

makes you FEEL like the protagonist in an action adventure movie. except its a video game, so you're far more immersed in it.

incredibly complex story, fun gameplay, gorgeous graphics. Myabe not worth full price, but absolutely worth playing.
