Avengers assemble or the avengers is the 6th movie in the marvel cinematic universe it’s what the past 5 movies have been building up to those being Iron Man (2008) The Incredible Hulk (2008) Iron man 2 (2010) Thor (2011) Captain America The First Avenger (2011) to the general public marvel was still a mixed bag being highly received with Iron man then hulk was just bad iron man 2 was mixed Thor was received ok but was still mixed same with Captain America but Avengers is what people refer to as the start of the mcu as it revolutionized cinema history with a team up superhero movie with like able characters great acting good action a good villain and music and writing everything you would want in a superhero movie is here but one thing to note this movie is very corny which has changed over the cinematic universe on a huge scale but I will now explain the plot. So S.H.I.E.L.D gets hold of a mysterious cube called the Tesseract which opens up a portal bringing Loki the villain of Thor (2011) to earth using his scepter he brings Eric Selvig from the Thor movie and Clint Barton or Hawkeye under mind control he escapes and Nick Fury requests to bring together the Avengers. Meanwhile we see Natasha Rominoff or black widow from Iron Man 2 (2010) dealing with what I can assume is mob bosses in a rail yard she defeats all of them and gets in contact with Fury. Then we see Bruce Banner now payed by Mark Ruffalo instead of Eric Norton get tricked by a little girl to get brung to a house to speak with Natasha about the Avengers he accepts the help research gammo radiation in the Tesseract. Then we see Tony Stark patching a pipe undersea with his Iron Man suit after having a glass of champagne with his girlfriend Pepper Potts Phil Coulson an agent from shield comes to ask Tony to help with their Loki problem he accepts. And once more we see Steve Rodgers or Captain America still dealing with the effects of waking up 70 years into the future with everything he knows gone Nick Fury asks him to join the team and he accepts but seems scared because he knows the power it unleashes and I quote “You should have left it in the ocean” Loki is now in Germany for whatever reason and while at a party uses a mans eye to unlock a door when telling a speech to the Germans Captain America shows up and try’s to kidnap him and bring him to shield then Iron Man shows up and Loki surrenders while getting back to shield Thor lands on the jet roof and retrieves Loki Iron man and Captain America follow him then the 3 fight become friends and bring Loki back to shield while in his cell he manages to trick Thor into getting it which was made to hold the hulk and drop him from the helicarrier then a quarter of the helicarrier explodes and Phil dies leaving Cap and Iron man to repair it by Iron man spinning one of the turbines so after the explosion happens banner hulks out jumps off the ship Loki manages to open another portal to let in the Chitauri meanwhile Natasha try’s to bring Hawkeye out of mind control. With the Chitauri attacking the city the avengers help to stop it and after Banner comes back he hulks out to fight the government sees no other option but to launch a nuke towards the city so Iron Man carries the missile through the portal and at the Chitauri base and the world is saved the avengers get some food and part ways to star in their own solo movies and the movie ends. Sure it’s corny sure some parts are boring but it’s a great movie grossing over 1 billion at the box office and making marvel the money making powerhouse it is today so with everything it’s ever done I’m going to give it a 9/10

Captain America the first avenger is the fifth movie in the marvel cinematic universe and in my opinion is the worst in phase one by quite a bit. The plot is a man named Steve Rodgers (Chris Evans) wants to join the army but is weak and small as hell so he signs up for the super soldier army as his last chance to join the army so the leaders see how serious he is and injects him with a lot of steroids anyway Schmidt and Dr. Arnim Zola harness the energies of the Tesseract, intending to use the power to fuel Zola's inventions, mounting an offensive that will change the world. Schmidt discovers Erskine's location and dispatches assassin Heinz Kruger to kill him. Erskine subjects Rogers to the super-soldier treatment, injecting him with a special serum and dosing him with "vita-rays". After Rogers emerges from the experiment taller and more muscular, an undercover Kruger kills Erskine and flees. Rogers pursues and captures Kruger, but the assassin avoids interrogation by committing suicide with a cyanide capsule. With Erskine dead and his super-soldier formula lost, U.S. Senator Brandt has Rogers tour the nation in a colorful costume as "Captain America" to promote war bonds while scientists study him and attempt to reverse-engineer the formula. In 1943, while on tour in Italy performing for active servicemen, Rogers learns that Barnes' unit was MIA in a battle against Schmidt's forces. Refusing to believe that Barnes is dead, Rogers has Carter and engineer Howard Stark fly him behind enemy lines to mount a solo rescue attempt. Rogers infiltrates the fortress of Schmidt's **** division Hydra, freeing Barnes and the other prisoners. Rogers confronts Schmidt, who removes a mask to reveal a red, skull-like visage that earned him the sobriquet "the Red Skull". Schmidt escapes and Rogers returns to base with the freed soldiers. Rogers recruits Barnes, Dum Dum Dugan, Gabe Jones, Jim Morita, James Montgomery Falsworth, and Jacques Dernier to attack other known Hydra bases. Stark outfits Rogers with advanced equipment, most notably a circular shield made of vibranium, a rare, nearly indestructible metal. Rogers and his team sabotage various Hydra operations. In 1945, the team assaults a train carrying Zola. Rogers and Jones succeed in capturing Zola, but Barnes falls from the train to his assumed death.[N 3] Using information extracted from Zola, the final Hydra stronghold is located, and Rogers leads an attack to stop Schmidt from using weapons of mass destruction on major American cities. Rogers climbs aboard Schmidt's aircraft as it takes off. During the subsequent fight, the Tesseract's container is damaged. Schmidt physically handles the Tesseract, which opens a wormhole into space, **** him into it. The Tesseract burns through the plane and is lost in the ocean. Seeing no way to land the plane without the risk of detonating its weapons, Rogers crashes it in the Arctic. Stark later recovers the Tesseract from the ocean floor but is unable to locate Rogers or the aircraft, presuming him dead. Rogers awakens in a 1940s-style hospital room. Hearing a radio broadcast of a baseball game that he attended in 1941, Rogers deduces that something is wrong. He flees outside and finds himself in present-day Times Square, where S.H.I.E.L.D. director Nick Fury informs him that he has been "asleep" for nearly 70 years. In a post-credits scene, Fury approaches Rogers and proposes a mission to hype up the avengers. The movie was highly received then and still is now but to many things hold it back for me so 4/10

Murder Mystery is the fifth happy Madison and Netflix production and is one of the best out of the four. In my opinion most of these are heavily underrated of course there are bad ones like the ridiculous six and sandy wexler but this and the do over are good. The plot is couple Nick Splitz (Adam Sandler) and his wife Audrey (Jennifer Aniston) take a long overdue honeymoon but while on the plane they run into billionaire Charles Cavendish (Luke Evans) who invites them on their yacht for their honeymoon but on the trip Malcom Quince (Terrance Stamp) is murdered on the boat and since Nick is a detective he must find the killer who include an actress Grace Ballard (Gemma Arterton), Tobias Quince (David Walliams) and other suspects. The movie is based off of the board game murder mystery and is similar in tone of course this movie brings in a lot of hate simply due to the fact that Adam Sandler is in it who is one of the most hated actors in Hollywood. Don’t let the low critic scores fool you it’s a fun movie and has a good final act so I’m going to give it a 7/10

Thor from what I’ve seen is the most mixed movie in the mcu it’s either like it or hate it I’m in the majority that like it in fact it’s the first marvel movie I would consider good so let’s go over the plot. So there is a place called Asgard and the Ruler Odin tells his two sons Thor and Loki that one of them is worthy to be the ruler of Asgard we cut forward and were at the ceremony who Thor is crowned king until it’s interrupted by frost giants Thor is mad and convinces his friends and Loki to fight the dark elves Odin gets mad at Thor because he just started a war so Odin banishes him to earth with his hammer we then find out that Loki is a frost giant and is adopted with puts Odin in a coma type thing while on earth Thor runs into three scientists Jane, Darcy and Eric who study lightning and weather. Thor locates his hammer and tries to take it back but gets kidnapped by shield and escapes then on Asgard Loki releases a monster to earth which almost killed Thor but Odin cries and it gives Thor back his powers so he goes back to Asgard to defeat Loki but Loki commits suicide off the rainbow bridge and the movie ends. Similar story to iron man its rating went down over time as it was received fine by the public when it came out now people just realize how bad it is but I still think it holds up there are a lot of boring parts and I think some of the cg doesn’t hold up but I give the movie a solid 7/10

Iron man 2 is the sequel to iron man and by that I mean it barley changes anything it picks up right where the last one left off but this movie is like 10 movies in one so I’m going to try to explain to the **** of the plot. So now the world knows that Tony Stark is Iron Man and he’s doing the same thing he was before but as Iron Man he has the Stark expo where he shows off his new tech speaking of which his magnet is now killing him because the thing was running on a car battery so he just gets drunk a lot so then he hands his company over to Pepper and it introduces Natasha Rominoff later known as Black Widow she doesn’t add anything to the plot she’s just there to hype the avengers while all this is happening a villain called whiplash is planning to attack Stark at a racetrack he fails and gets thrown in prison another character introduced is James Rhodes or War Machine after he steals the mark 3 suit at Tony’s birthday whiplash escapes courtesy of another villain Justin Hammer who was impressed by his work and gives him the material and funds to build an iron army while all this is happening Tony is all drunk and depressed but gets back on the horse after seeing a video message from his dad so as anyone would Stark invents a new element to help him with his heart issues so Tony shows off the drones at the stark expo until they go haywire and Whiplash comes out with a big iron suit built off screen just like the last one so Tony and War machine blow him up and the movie ends. It wasn’t crazy received then and still isn’t now I know it sounds like I’m trash talking this movie but I think it’s better then the first one as unpopular of an opinion that might be so overall I would still give this one a 6/10 but it’s a little better then the first

Iron man was the first movie in the marvel cinematic universe and it shows not in a bad way but I mean in the sort of way that there are small things that set it apart but these become more apparent in the sequel but for now let’s talk about the movie. So the plot is a billionaire Tony Stark is showing off weapons of mass destruction in Afghanistan but during his visit gets kidnapped and brought to a cave to build a bomb since he got shot there is now a magnet in his chest which is stopping strap all from reaching his heart instead of building a bomb he builds an iron suit to help him escape once back in New York he builds a better version of the suit and his partner Obadiah Stane wants to steal his technology so he steals starks magnet and has a bigger version of the suit so Tony gets his back up heart and flies him into space freezing him and dropped back to earth only to get electrocuted to death by Tony’s secutary Pepper Potts falls in love with her saves the day and tells the world he’s iron man. When you get down to it it’s a pretty typical superhero story but it’s made better by the great soundtrack and the even better protagonist Tony Stark. My only complaint is a big one however the third act is really bad for one we didn’t even see the big iron suit get built it was off screen and the villains motivations make no sense. But overall I give the movie a solid 6/10 great movie then ok now

Pacific Rim Uprising is without a doubt the worst movie I have ever seen in my entire life unlike my last review of South Park The Fractured But Whole I won’t go into some history because I just want to tell you how bad it really is. Ok so my first of many problems is the setting 9/10 it’s just dark room or big robot room maybe a outdoor scene now and again but that’s about it if you liked the first movie which I did I thought it was fine for what it was but they apparently thought it needed a sequel and it does follow up the first one while on the topic of that the start is probably the best part of the movie aside from the credits then all the robot **** starts happening and it takes a turn for the worst don’t get me wrong I have sat through long and boring movies such as Batman vs Superman or fantastic four (2015) and their both really bad and another complaint I have is the robots design their all just robots with swords and it gets old very very fast but by far the biggest problem I have with the move is the writing it’s probably the worst I’ve ever seen in a movie every time it goes in for a laugh I just end up feeling sorry for it. It even **** over the first one on so many levels I won’t say why because it spoils it for the both of you who are still interested so I’m giving this movie the lowest I can it’s a boring mess and avoid it at all costs 0/10
