It's really hard to rate Genshin, I think the game itself is so complete and diverse that rating it as a whole isn't very relevant. In fact, it's so much so that if you ask 5 people why they play the game, you have a good chance of getting 5 completely different answers. For my part, I greatly enjoy the dynamic combat system, in teams of 4. The gameplay variety is good, with elemental reactions, energy management, optimized rotations.. it's very fun to piece everything together for an optimal and satisfying combat performance. The problem is that this aspect isn't pushed very far in-game; the endgame modes are nothing but boss fights/monster rooms that change every X weeks, and in the end you go in circles quickly, especially since it's been like that for years. I also play for the characters, whom you grow attached to through the story, character design, voice acting.. but here we enter the extremely predatory side of gachas, which Mihoyo CLEARLY doesn't escape, with very limited in-game resources, and character rerun timescales that are often counted in months or even years; you can be sure you'll miss a lot of characters.. or open your wallet. The story itself is really very interesting, but my god the storytelling.. I won't even get into the fact that the MC is STILL not voiced in 99% of cases, including in the most important quests, which is absurd; but even the pacing, the detours that are taken.. you waste an enormous amount of time on quests instead of truly focusing on good storytelling methods. It's a shame because I'll say it again: it's a REALLY good story, just told so poorly that at some point you get tired of following it.. bring on the Genshin anime for real. Now the least criticizable aspect, in my opinion, is the exploration. It has always been good since the game launched in 2020, and if anything, it has only gotten better with all the regions added since, which are both larger and richer in puzzles, open world mechanics, etc.. I have to say first: the game is EXTREMELY long and time-consuming, especially if you have the madness of completionism, so be prepared to spend a lot of time on it.. and possibly a lifetime!

If I had to judge solely on the gameplay, the variety of brawlers, maps, modes.. I would have easily given it a 10/10. The game has the luxury of having fairly deep gameplay, while still remaining genuinely very accessible for beginners, which is VERY rare!HOWEVER, you can't talk about a Supercell game without mentioning.. Supercell. Inevitably, they just had to put their two cents in: a game with super slow progression, that indirectly forces you to spend indecent amounts on microtransactions if you want to be able to max out a diverse pool of brawlers, with a meta that changes too fast, through completely disproportionate nerfs/buffs, not to mention new brawlers that are always completely broken (intentionally). Even in ranked, the competitive mode, brawlers are not maxed out by default, it's up to you to max your brawlers.. a very predatory game, I'm telling you, that's Supercell for you. If you plan to play casually, or without serious competitive ambitions, I think you can still enjoy the game without touching your wallet and have a great time. On the other hand, for your own good, I'd advise you not to play brawlers that aren't maxed, and if possible, play with friends.. otherwise, you'll be at risk to just suffer..

I loved this game, and I'm glad to know I'm not the only one!Yes, it can be seen as an 'interactive movie', but that's precisely the whole point of a video game: the decisions, YOU are the one making them, not someone else. And there are SO MANY decisions to make, that in the end everyone creates their own unique experience compared to that of others. The story is great, the characters are incredibly lovable, and the replayability is almost infinite. Just, a massive personal favorite, that will likely remain for a long time in the pantheon of my favorite games, period.

The fact that some people have genuinely enjoyed this game is DEEPLY concerning, and clearly demonstrates that Pokémon has become the Apple of gaming: just slap their logo on any garbage, and it will sell by the millions. This game is one of the biggest disgraces in gaming history, both taking into account its context (released in 2022, on a console that saw games like Zelda BOTW or Xenoblade Chronicles, latest generation of the biggest video game franchise in the world), but also as a standalone game, it is a catastrophe on every level. NOTHING works in this game, NONE of the pillars of the franchise have been respected, not even a little bit. I'll put it simply: the ONE and ONLY positive point of this walking disgrace is the OSTs. So, don't inflict pain on yourselves, unless you're masochists, and just go listen to that on YouTube. Don't waste your time, your money, and your mental health.

This game gave me hope again of investing myself in this medium. I had been staying in my comfort zone for years, and I randomly came across an OST from the game that I found incredible, which made me curious.. So I went to watch a few minutes of gameplay and it tempted me, so I played it.. and damn, I don't regret that decision for a single second. This game has the potential to be my all-time favorite game. The OSTs are the best of any game I've played so far, the art direction is exceptional (I love the DS, it's my childhood..), the characters are lovable, the investigations are captivating, and damn those courtroom trials.. No but seriously, this game is so good, it rewarded my curiosity so much that now, I want to dive into discovering new games again! Thank you, Phoenix Wright!

What can you say about BO2.. the best campaign in the franchise (and the competition is tough) with its antagonist who FAR surpasses all the others, the past and present perspectives, the old grudges.. the choices that change the entire course of the story. The multiplayer which is BY FAR the best in the franchise, and which gave me hundreds of hours of fun, too many to count :') And of course that superb zombies mode, which offers both the best casual map with Town, and the best map overall with Origins! To this day, it remains for me the pinnacle of what Call of Duty has had to offer over these 20+ long years.
