A more unrealistic copy of drive, with more driving, more dancing and more action. Vaguely entertaining but poor all round. Don't have more to say than that.

Fight scenes were typically as lame as all boxing films seem to be. Story itself was ok. I'm a fan of Miles Teller so that made it watchable. It was fairly cheese though.

King Arthur: Legend of the Sword6
Jul 12, 2017
Imagery was very good.
Dialogue was enjoyable at times.
Montage character shaping was good.
Cast and accents good.
Even the plot was ok.
The problem with the film was that the mythical power was way too great, which led to one 'good' and one 'evil' super super power big boss one on one showdown, and that was cliche and lame. There was no need for it; If this mythical power had been toned down significantly, and they were more like men, it would have been a more reasonable story, and the characters/acting would have made the film quite great. If mages are so powerful, why are they not ruling the kingdom?

Nice story - based on truth. Thought provoking. Highlights the poverty gap, and contrasting lifestyles, which need highlighting/understanding more in western nations.

John Wick: Chapter 23
Jul 6, 2017
More unique plot, but fight scenes just as bad as the first film. Bad guys turn in to statues whenever they encounter him. Slow unrealistic hand to hand combat. Every scene between him and Cassian is beyond terrible. Keanu just appears behind bad guys, when I assume they are meant to be professionals covering exits? Sooo bad.

John Wick3

unrealistic fight scened I find it hard to believe that even the best sharpshooter could take out 10+ others with short range weapons, without traps, and without supreme positioning, especially given the time he wastes wrestling them. He can't even kill a much weaker girl quickly in had to hand combat.

English and Austrian sterotypes. Questionable accents all around. Cheesey dialogue. Lauder isn't a mathematition: "20% risk of dieing per race"? would mean every F1 driver would be 100% dead after 8 races... Good plot, and quite entertaining. Olivia Wilde always brightens a film up for me.

It engaged me throughout. One unrealistic handbrake turn and then reversing action scene is about the only negative thing I can say about it..........

I like that there wasn't a happy ever after ending. Just a guy getting by. It wasn't that enthralling, and the music isn't for my taste, but I enjoyed seeing the story of a 'failure' as opposed to the 'hero'.

Tense, unexpected, interesting, good plot. Because I don't speak Romanian, difficult for me to know if the acting was ok or not, but it seemed good. Dialogue seemed good also from the subtitles.

Saban's Power Rangers1
Jun 29, 2017
I watched the original power rangers when i was a kid, and i was hoping that it might have grown up, as I have. But no: it's a remake for kids, that has entirely cheesey dialogue and plot, that makes no logical sense. I coudln't take any more after the first fight scene, and turned it off. Karatee kicking aliens to death is hard for me to watch now I'm not 7 years old. If five teenagers had to save the world, every one would be screwed. I gave it a 1 instead of a 0 because there was something engaging about the cheesey coming of age teenager high school drama, until they reached the spaceship, and it was all downhill from there really.

Cheesey cliche chess start scene, because every one who plays chess must be intelligent and tactical right?
- Awfully unrealistic gun and hand to hand combat scenes.
- John Travolta kills people on whims. Why is he not in jail.
- What motive does his caucasian girlfriend have to suicide bomb some conference.
The reason it isn't a 1 is because I quite enjoyed Jonathan Rhys Meyers and John Travoltas bromance throughout.
