Wings of Vi10
Jun 11, 2021
Wings of Vi gives you that gamer high where you are faced with a challenge and you say to yourself "there is no way I will be able to beat this part" and when after grinding and making incremental improvements when you finally hit that next checkpoint you get blasted with some dopamine. The music and gameplay are both phenomenal in this game and I highly recommend Wings of Vi for anyone who would enjoy a difficult puzzle platformer with cute angle girls.

Tainted Grail: Conquest8
Jun 11, 2021
Another great addition to the deck building rouge-like genre, this time with RPG elements. The game does a good job at not being too overwhelming to learn at first while still having a lot of depth to explore in how you approach a run. I was unsure of how much I enjoyed it until I figured out how to become reliably broken playing the summoner, beat the true final boss, and hit decently high on the leader boards. I like the dark and gritty atmosphere and artwork throughout the game as well as the haunting soundtrack. You can tell a lot of love and effort went into this game. The dialogue is fully voice acted and it was nice to hear the lore of the game without being overwhelmed with blocks of text to read.

Sunblaze9
Jun 11, 2021
Everything about Sunblaze feels like a budget Celeste and that's okay. While not a knockoff there are major similarities with the greatest game ever made Celeste. Sunblaze does a good job at being different enough where it works perfectly. The platforming gimmicks are almost entirely original, the music is great and the gameplay is crispy. They hit the level of challenge that I am looking for when playing a puzzle platformer. I hope more Celeste inspired games get made in the future because this one nailed the style and gameplay.

Spelunky 210
Jun 11, 2021
I've been playing Spelunky sense the freeware version and this is by far the best iteration. With over 250 hours of play time already I still enjoy working towards the cosmic ocean ending. The game is challenging to learn but that's what makes it so rewarding to master. It adds a ton of new content compared to the last game with branching paths, mounts and far more elaborate secrets to discover and overcome. The music is also great besides the dwelling music being a bit underwhelming when compared with the previous games. This game is in contention with being my favorite game of all time with Celeste. Get this game if you enjoy a challenge and don't have an ego that makes you blame the game for your own failures to overcome.

Celeste10
Jun 11, 2021
Every aspect of the game was masterfully done and after playing through and earning every achievement it has become my favorite game of all time. The two aspects **** that I care most about is the gameplay and music which I think Celeste perfected both. The story has some great emotional beats and relatable struggles coming from the main character. This is truly the pinnacle of puzzle platformers.
