Surprises abound, this film is a must see for fans of romantic comedies such as Maid in Manhattan.

Based in a small town in Illinois, A Demon Within sets the scene with an idyllic space. Nothing bad ever happened in an idyllic space, right? WRONG! Weird occurrences begin the first night that mother/daughter duo Julia and Charlotte enter their new (old) house in seemingly sweet Crestwick, with odd power flickers and strange dreams. A menacing looking rash soon appears on young Charlotte with no explanation, calling for a visit to the town’s hot Dr. Miller, who seems to be withholding something. What exactly is that something? Well, you’ll have to watch this indie possession thrill ride to find out. I recommend this one for any fans of movies such as Insidious or the Conjuring.
