"(500) Days of Summer" is not a love story. With its funny writing, its compelling performances and its humour, the film is a big metaphor of us. Us and the summer. That summer we wish it would never end.

The sublime performances of four acclaimed actors tell a story about loneliness and fear of loneliness as all the characters desperately look for "love", but "love" is a feeling that they will never have for each other. "Closer" is a good movie, most notable for Portman's acting, that will leave the audience with anger and delusion.

"The Shape of Water" is nothing but a work of art. Del Toro makes every scene unforgettable as we feel the constant presence of water sorrounded by Desplat's rousing music. The most powerful fact in this movie is how what it is unsaid is more important than what it is said.

The art design, the colors and every part of this movie is just visually stunning, simply wonderful to watch. "Crimson Peak" comes up being a macabre gothic tale that takes this genre to another level.

A powerful and sofisticated journey in high school, where every character represents the difficulties of being a teenager: anger, love, madness, loneliness and most of all, fear. "Palo Alto" isn't afraid to show a new, desperate and lost youth.

"Stealing Beauty" is a melancholic and optimistic work of art that photograph a world that is going to vanish, making Liv Tyler the leader of a decadend generation afflicted by illness and incommunicability, which is about to be replace with a genuine and vital new kind of youth.

A real, funny and incredibly original story, followed by the great performance given by Franco, give to "The Disaster Artist" a great spirit of irony and hope.

A true family movie, a tiny piece of jewelry, "Dear Lemon Lima" is good, clean fun for all ages. Using stunning music and visual art, Suzi Yoonessi is simply reminding us what it's like to be young, in love, heartbroken and in pain.

"Safelight" comes up being a pointless and boring teen drama, without going anywhere. Despite the performances by talented actors such as Temple and Peters, the movie lacks of character development and originality.

A cute, interesting and well-acted movie, "Geography Club" has all that it takes to create a great teenage comedy, it is a useful introduction to the topic. The only flaw is that is told slowly and it may not be one of the most innovative work of this kind.
