Splatoon Raiders10

The Single Player Splatoon Campaigns from the first 3 games were neat, something special, and fun. This game takes that concept and the idea of salmon run and maes an amazing rougelike adventure where not only we explore the stories of the salmonids and islands but also the members of Deepcut. This is truly one of the best switch 2 experiences someone can have and it deserves the user ratings it gets. (Critics lowkey **** at having fun and being whimsy)

Rhythm Heaven Groove9

Rhythm Heaven Groove (although with some small style and musical changes) makes it seem like the series never left, the game is just as whacky, fun, and addicting as the other in the series and overall is just more Rhythm Heaven that doesn’t need a major gameplay change to be new and exciting all over again. The new RPG mode gets a bit repetitive, but everything else is a fantastimazing 10/10 🥹

Kirby Air Riders10

Geniunelly, an apology letter for Mario Kart World. On launch Mario Kart World already felt pretty bare bones, with the only thing letting it stand out was the trick system (Intermissions NOT helping). But after playing Kirby Air Riders, I never wanna touch World again, everything about this game was done to near perfection, obviously anything under Sakurai's care will be amazing but this was a whole other thing, this game was his passion project and it shows, it's not a kart racer its a kart combater. With all the references and care put here, this is a true celebration of the Kirby franchise.

Ehhhh... they had ok intentions? The wall riding and rail grindings were game changers, the courses whlie some mid selection is mostly good... but the lack of a classic mode, 200cc, and the lack of innovation on the intermissions really makes this game miss the mark, the price tag I AM PRAYING IS A MARKETING STUNT. seriously EIGHTY DOLLARS?! This game marked a time where the gaming industry split, and not for the best, hoping Nintendo can make better and better priced content to slowly repair the GIGANTIC hole they made.

Donkey Kong Bananza10

This game has the most heart and care, that honestly a lot of modern Nintendo games have been missing, this felt like a passion project to shine the light back on DK after a decade long absence of new games, and they nailed it. The environments are well crafted, the story building Pauline's confidence gave the story some sweet moments and THEY NAILED THAT ENDING, truly unforgettable and fantastic start to one of the first few months of the Nintendo Switch 2's Life, hoping for more masterpieces like these to shower the console. Especially in a time like this, where many resent Nintendo for their newer, questionable practices, Donkey Kong Bananza shows that the development side of Nintendo can still make incredible, memorable, and childhood-making things!
