It's come to the attention of Legacy of Kain fans that this game may be getting review boosted by BitBot. Sleuths on social media have found that several 9 and 10 reviews have usernames that are related to BitBot associates. This is rumor and speculation, please do your own research. As for the game itself, it's not fun. I've been waiting for a new LoK game for 20 years and this isn't what I wanted. Elaleth takes center stage and she's just not a good character.

I get that this is the start of a new saga, but that doesn't mean it has to be boring. Seriously, it took me hours just to get to a new zone and do anything worthwhile. It was cutscene after cutscene of exposition. Why didn't they have any of this built up during the 6.x series? Wuk Lamat is a broken record of, "I need to discover my people's culture!" every five seconds. She's a Turali princess and knows nothing of her people's culture? What has she been doing all this time? Then, we get a wild wild west filler, and finally the "real threat" comes around level 96-97. It's just a mess. The only good thing about this are the dungeons and trials. Those were fun. I'd skip through this story and get straight to the gameplay.
