I had huge expectations from this game, after playing Mario kart on wiiu and later switch for countlesshours, but it is really underwhelming and a step in wrong direction. Tracks look recycled and lifeless.
Main addition is 24 players but I see no real benefit in that as more ain't better.
Graphics are real letdown as not that great looking for a launch game. Open world is empty and more marketing gimmick than real motivation to try. Finally, I'm still playing Mario kart 8 on switch 2 (or better called switch 1.5 as so far it is just risk free upgrade of switch 1). Real letdown for ~100$ (from my local currency) and no wonder Nintendo won't release any demos for their games, so be careful when pre-ordering as they don't seem to have faith their games demos are good.

At current state this is unplayable game. And this is with 150gb day one patch. AI is non existent (acknowledged by developers that now prepare AI patch), way too many texture and graphics glitches, I can't even have main character walking straight but is always going one or another side, microstutter is almost constant... I can't understand why it was released in this state? If dev needs two- three months to patch it up then delay again, but this is not even beta but alpha version where gamers are testers. I got it on gamepass but in current state is a waste of time so I'm waiting a couple of months before trying it, hopefully by then it will get patched to playable level. Edit : so many new accounts with only review giving 10. I hope publisher will invest in patches as much as in these review bots as game is still in bad shape.

QTE games could be great for some console, middle-aged gamers who 0 challenge, but on PC this concept is really bad. What is even worse is that story, instead of being main driver when gaming mechanic is based on hitting buttons on a screen, is actually bad. Sad dad story with rebellious kid and old father might be perfect for gamers with estranged kids, but not a lot of those on pc. Audio is busted as dolby atmos doesn't work and dual sense is not working wirelessly but those should be fixed with patches, but still strange to see xbox joypad working and playstation onr not being supported. Graphics is good and not demanding, game is stabile. It is good to see such stabile game, and hence 3/10 as only positive. Broken atmos, story and silly game mechanics bring 0. With weak story and silly game mechanics, sony should stick with playstation, as pc gamers aren't really audience for such games. And weaker sale numbers than previous gow had prove this. Novelty wore off and there are much, much, much better games on pc with tight gameplay and actually rewarding players not for pressingbutton that is shown on a screen, but actually being good in a game. And that is a pc gaming. I stopped playing after couple hours , this is unbearably boring and watch gameplay videos before getting it.

I played it on ps5 which I sold as redundant and now could play it again on pc, on pc it looks even better and more immersive, the closest I saw to cartoons. Game is fun to play and even story is interesting, for me it was a good purchase. No bugs, no issues but only fun time. After tlou that was falling appart I had a hard time even purchasing it but for me it is working. Encouraging decision for Sony to start imitating MS and releasing their games on PC, but by placing artificial delays they are missing huge chunk of sales as simply no marketing budget for pc is visible, while MS is smartly capturing pc audience by launching games on same day. For sony no one knows if games will come to pc and even when they do, it is really low level and who even cares about old games launched at least a year ago,and usualy much more. I know this game from ps5 so hence why I bought it, otherwise it would go under my radar, as judgung by steam numbers it went for most of pc gamers.

This game is not for everybody, it is not fifa or COD but really for fans of rpg and bethesda games, but now in space! I am really enjoying in it as it is everything I expected and even more, and sheer size of space and planets you can visit, side quest you can do, bases built or type of ships is really incredible. Now, there are flaws, no map (insane, yes), no ground vehicles (probably to prevent seeing that you cannot drive around plannets, so good luck going 1km from point to point, really irritating even with jetpack), lame building system and step-down from previous where you could dismantle everything (probably to prevent clutter and collecting everything but still, lame). But so far for me great story, epic feeling while in space or walking on plannets and really great quests. For me GOTY and this will take a lot of my time.

From promo material we all expected islands in the sky would be main place, instead we got underground with rather empty and repeated world. Strong positives are incredible physics allowing you to experiment as much as you like with various gadgets and make various devices. Negatives are that game is based on heavy grind and is like poor mans minecraft at moments. For every cell for energy there is grind, to use auto creation even more grind... Eventually I started calculating how much time I need to do some simple stuff and it was staggering. Also for me it seems too much creation for this type of game. Way too empty and repetitive, no incentive to continue once you finish last boss, every vehicle experimentation requires huge grind. Zelda plus minecraft basicaly.

Just to share that my review is based on full game actually bought, not pirated pre-built it seems some of users here reviewed. Game is polished, no bugs, no hiccups, so technically working as expected (not given today, just look $ony games) Two things missing- surround sound and HDR, along with crosshair which can't be removed are weird things. But on positive- great story, great atmosphere, world well thought of and really delivering that soviet positivity vibe gone wrong. Rtx is really well implemented adding to claustrophobic atmosphere in corridors. For me atmosphere was main driver but building up of character was also adding as well implemented (only that robot was really cheesy with sex allusions). All in all, so far good candidate for one of best games this year and great first game of this dev studio.

This was another disgrace from Sony. Publishing 10 year old game in such state can be done by someone who just doesn't care about gamers. Game is completely glitchy, on 4080 is working with constant fps drops with graphics quality clearly showing really weak remaster. This lame releases are becoming a norm for Sony. Luckily I was able to ask for refund. No publisher should be allowed to release games in such poor state, so last time I buy games from Sony before couple patches and heavy discount.

Standard paradox business model just much more transparent as victoria was in the past really challenging and not first time gamers friendly game. Now is dumbed down to be easy play where warfare is ridiculously simplified but economy is also impacted along with population choices Game feels like skeleton, for sure to be built up with dozens of expansions. I’m sure this will look more coherent in couple years so unless you want to be beta tester just get it in two years with bunch of expansions at steam discount. Until then don’t expect victoria 2 sequel but more theme hospital simulation just with countries.

Game has a great potential. Unfortunately it is pushed as unfinished and still on early access level as final product. Optimisation is not implemented, still present bugs and unpolished menues, resources usage way above needs and fps drops without reason. Someone thought that pushing game in such development stage is good just to grab some holidays sale numbers. And that is plane wrong. Unless you got it for free no reason to waste time on it in this stage. And check steam reviews if in doubt.

Do not buy unless you have amd new gen gpu.. Game is not optimized for nvidia graphics cards and is strongly favoring amd gpu as this title is amd sponsored. Also, even though this is previous gen engine, it requires 16gb vram for hd textures, as also explained by Ubi: “ Please note that the minimum requirement for running the HD Texture Pack for Far Cry 6 is 16GB of VRAM.”, again to push amd graphics cards. Even when tested on 16gb vram unclear is why, as it doesn’t look like game using 16gb vram. Game is basically reskinned far cry 5 done in same engine with same style of missions. Easy cash for developer, sour taste for us that preordered it.

For me this is not only one of best games on vita but on portable consoles in general. I have sold my vita when I bought switch and I missed KZ so much that I had to buy vita again. Great action, smart weapons, brilliantly implemented vanguard selections and war shown for what it is just enriching gameplay and story… If there is one game that every owner of vita should try, it is this one. Btw I think that Guerrilla was much, much better in developing KZ games for psp/vita than for home consoles.

I am huge fan of original game and have played it numerous times on different platforms, so when this remake was announced I had a lot of doubts how can they transfer original spirit so many years later when FF series have been dying for so long. Well, Square did incredible job at refreshing this gem and I’m astounded it turned out to be great game that I really enjoyed playing. Yes, it is not 1:1 remake, far from it, but that is exactly a reason it turned so good, otherwise it might seem outdated of they mixed old game with new graphics. Now just need to wait for second part.

So I bought this game for ps4 for 70$ 11 months ago and now to upgrade it to ps5 version I had to pay 30$. This is Sony’s version of Smart Delivery, smart for company, not much for its fans. But hey, This Is For Payers, and now I ended with 100$ game. For additional 30$ I got DLC that is rather short and graphic upgrade is not that visible. Well, this was such unpleasant experience for me that I don’t recommend. There are plenty other games that give upgrades for free and console manufacturers that dont try to squeeze last dime from their fans. My mistake for wasting money on this but try not to repeat it.

Two words: Polished fun! In coop this game is magnificent and truly fun experience. On top of it, I never saw any glitches or any technical imperfections that are plaguing today’s games, and I bought it day one. If you need great coop game, this one should be considered. Only reason for 9/10 is unbalanced difficulty, some levels are strangely easy while couple are frustrating. But as a package, great game!

I’m a huge fan of strategy games so having them on switch is my passion. After great games such as CIV6 or two points hospital that works on switch like a charm, I was really excited for tropico 6. But alas, from first scene you create your president in you will see one of worst graphics on switch, and it becomes even worse once you start managing your island. If I haven’t played other strategies on switch I would assume this is due to limitations of console, but considering other titles this seems to be just really bad port.

I couldn't finish it, stopped after some 8 hours, this is not a game but depression simulation, atmosphere is really not encouraging to play it. Technically it is impressive for this ending generation but nothing is motivating you to play it, no adrenaline rush like in horror games, just really weird bad atmosphere and tormented character. Can't give it 0 and this is realy not cool, but from me is 5. Strongly suggest to watch some gameplay for 30 minutes to get understanding of atmosphere and really depressing script.

Cyberpunk 20777
Dec 12, 2020
This is one of the most beautiful games you can find today. Art, graphics, whole first sight atmosphere... it is incredible. On top of it story is really interesting and keep attention. Unfortunately this game is not what it was claiming to be as although it is open world, that seems like afterthought in this game. Zero interaction, ai of npc much worse than in gta iv, driving that has no feeling... As soon as you try to step out of story and wonder around whole world seems so empty and without any reaction to your presence, without ai, possible discussion or even reaction to your presence. This leads to big issue, once main story is finished there is nothing to be done as emptiness of world is preventing any wish to explore it as there is nothing to explore. Point a gun at driver, he doesn’t care, steal cop car, they don’t care, do something wrong police is magically appearing as no chase there... Whoever expected gtav in future will be sooo disappointed. But for single player story driven experience expect same as 5 year old witcher 3 experience - do your story and forget about open world. Technical issues are not worth mentioning as I expect them to be covered in upcoming patches, but game mechanics will remain the same and it is really underwhelming after all videos - what you can do in cyberpunk. Actually nothing that is not scripted as part of story,

First let me start by telling that I am huge fan of original RDR and that I completed it with 100%, so my expectations from RDR2 were not that high as I was more than happy if Rockstar improved graphics and polished some details from first game. Unfortunately rockstar changed way too much in the game, which could be great if changes didn't make this game way too repetitive and tedious.
If you want to use item there is sachet on the horse, two **** for simple action it will take too much time. Combine that with tedious refillers and whole game become like grinding as you have to use bunch of items regularly. On top of it we have shaving, combing, clothing, camp money collecting... I just want to wonder off and enjoy, instead this becomes like boring daily routine. Beautiful game, great graphics, interesting story, but basic mechanics are repetitive and become frustratingly boring after couple hours. No wonder gta5 held price for so long while RDR2 has already price tanked just after couple months. If you want fun there are much better games out there.

Way to many fake reviews here giving 10/10. Peace of advice to publisher- invest some additional money so fake reviewers could do more reviews and not only of this game as almost all fakers giving 10/10 reviewed only this game or couple of your games in addition. Regarding TLG, game was in development 10 years and is completely broken. I loved ICO, also SotC but this is the most frustrating sony exclusive I ever played. Camera is like from ps2 era, controls awful, you depend on trico's ai which is flawed and most of the times broken... Instead of reading fake reviews and experiences from folks earning their money for writing them, go and watch some videos of gameplay. This game is going shoulder to shoulder with Duke Nukem forever, just that Duke didn't have strong publisher able to "influence" reviewing process as whoever played this game for half an hour would be frustrated with this. At least used games price rocked bottom so I bought it for 10usd, but still not worth it. I hope Ueda will go and work on something new and good after this and deliver us something more like ICO, simple and beautiful game without too much technical mess but with more attention to atmosphere and simple controls.

Taking in game pictures is in cloud servers that are periodically dead, on-line was postponed to 1.10 and three days later is a total mess, cars are disappearing from garage, in-game payment for faster boosting characters in multiplayer (one would think that 1 billion dollars would be enough to skip that part)... A lot of problems but all of them are covered with magical cure- marketing (i.e. payments to gaming reviewing sites) is more expensive than game it self. GTA5 is great game but it is not perfect, unless someone thinks that so many problems are perfectly acceptable. I have preordered game, payed premium price and now I am wasting my time working as beta tester for Rockstar. Wow, that is amazing. I had similar experience with sim city 5 but that was widely covered in gaming media, and we were all angry how could they take money from us and not providing us good service. A little advice to EA and Blizzard- next time give more money to reviewing sites and your games will get much better scores, including Diablo 3 and Sim City 5. And concerning rockstar- next time I will skip preorder and instead buy second hand copy from some frustrated owner for less money.
