This game is really well executed, fun and intelligent. If you re into big graphics forget but if you like seemless realization and design intelligence, that's your pick

It's pretty good. Gameplay is very deep and original. Except for the graphics, it's not really an early access game to be frank. Graphics could be better but I guess it will improve over time as this is early access. Been quite impressed by how addictive this game is... Just... one... more... turn... Will definitely follow on

The best Diablo-like since Diablo 2... More fun and lighter than Diablo 3. Really good small design ideas that keep the interest going, plus the beloved skill tree. Plus you can play single player. In a nutshell, it's a blizzard game designed by a blizzard team who just happen not to be at blizzard anymore :)

Very mixed in multiple respects... the first view of the game is that it is fantastic. At least a refreshing view on the MMO world, really well done and finished, with innovative quest system and fantastic innovative levelling mechanism. And after a while you're logging in and you don;t really know why you're accepting silly limitations like the stupidly think inventory system, the lacklustre crafting mechanism, the stupid "personnal story" system that for some quests is just so close to impossible that it is frustrating beyond relief (with no hope of overpowering the quest... my engineer has been stuck on a lvl 28 quest since the beginning...) It could have been fantastic but it is barely passable due to these limitations. It is not a hazard if blizzard has simplified the silly things in wow... guild wars should have thought about it too... WvW is very well thought but individual contributions are pretty much close to zero so the strategy is either zerg grouping or smaller "pro" groups which is boring after a while I see this game performing very well over time but will require a LOT of refining to keep players in. NC Soft does not care because there are no subscription. In some respect this game gave me the same feeling as TOR: an initial "Waouw" and then "but..... why did they... why didn't they....?" Sad...

Very disappointing as the core of the game is not available in single player. It s an interesting concept and realization but way to poor in single player to be worthy a acquisition.

I am very mixed about this game. Went up to lvl 45 at the moment, participated in the beta and have tried 3 other characters to levl 10-12. On one hand it is a pure Bioware game, with amazing RPG feature and story, a strong SW background and a very solid gameplay, very good realization, interesting PVP battlegrounds, the Companion system is great, .... On the other hand, the comparison with WOW is unavoidable and this is where we see what's missing in TOR: the polish that Blizzard put in everything. There are a load of very good things in TOR but, for example, myriads of small things that makes your life easy in WoW are missing (too many load screens, too many small zones, Town Portal system that needs to be improved, tons of small information that should be present in details instead of giving overall numbers, several bugs that should have been eliminated in Alpha version in the fly system for example, or in the fact that often you are out of a BG because the game does not let you go outside of the start zone before the end of the timer). Also some key features like a LFD system are missing, which makes finding a group for Flashpoint a real pain in the ass. There are no statistic system that would allow a player to track what he's done in the game, ...
Also not possible yet to have two spec, which means that you need a full respec if you want to be a tank or a heal, which makes, again, finding flashpoint groups a pain in the ass... Very very mixed feeling. Sadly, I feel like it misses maybe 6 month of polish, a little the same feeling as for when Warhammer was launched, very strong base but not polished enough. Way better than WoW at the start but the competition is not anymore Wow in 2005... Prediction is that there will be c. 500-700k player for a while but baring implementation of the key features very very quickly, there will be a huge leakage as soon as Diablo 3 or Guild Wars 2 will be out. A good game, but not good enough. A very good, BioWare, RPG game, but not enough to nail the MMO part bit.

Two feedbacks
- game remains true to its HOMM core, which is a plus
- having to install Uplay and have, again to cope with UbiSoft features outside of the game is a real pain in the a*s... As a result: don't buy and enjoy the previous versions until ubi drops this stupid strategy...

Having tried all the MMO that came out over the past few years, there is still nothing that offer even an equal experience to WoW, despite being from 2004. let's see what Guild Wars 2 and TOR will bring but at the moment WoW is still by far the top of the pack. The lone game out there that offer such a deep experience coupled with Blizzard's attention to perfect details.

Very disappointed by the game. Seemed a great idea but between the awful Uplay imposed on us by Ubisoft, combined with a very bad interface and hazardous controls, it's hardly worth a try as long as the price has not been divided by 4. A good idea and a bad realization.

Diablo II10

THE game that demonstrated to all the brio of the best studio in the world. Never had hack'n'Slash been so good. Had to wait for WoW to spend more time on a game. Could not have been more addictive and more fun. The expansion LoD brought a lot of good addition and tweaks while keeping the essence of the game. An absolute must in PC Gaming.

Starcraft II: Wings of Liberty8

By large the best STR done so far. The campaign is great and innovative. Pure Blizzard game in many respects: extremely polished and thought-through, great realization, perfect balance. The best studio of the last 17 years has not lost its touch.
The big issue for me, as it was for the first Starcraft is Multiplayer. Very balanced gameplay but it is always Rush, Rush, Rush and having no other choice than either stop multiplayer or being forced into always the same kind os strategy is depressing. There should be a way to play on maps allowing long term development instead of being forced to rush all the time. Maybe it is only wishful thinking.

Europa Universalis III: Heir to the Throne9
Aug 28, 2010
I have been playing Europa Universalis ever since it was only a board game. Always found it one of the most enjoyable, even if very complex and long, strategy game you can find out there. I think the various development teams have made a great job over the years, from the initial design to the refinement of the latest version. A great game in a great serie for sure.

Elemental: War of Magic4

A a huge fan of Master of Magic, 4X games and the previous **** games, I was looking forward to this game as the Grail coming back to Gaming's earth. Very disappointed so far and far from being fun overall. The gameplay is not intuitive at all and questionable in many respects, the interface should be improved dramatically and the graphics (despite not being important for this kind of game) need to be more "magic" than the current various shades of gray, brown, etc... Was expecting something like "Civ IV of Magic" and got more something like Age of Wonder (not a compliment in my mouth...). Disappointment compounded by the inability to get the game on Steam. ****, we deserve more from you and you need to fix this.
