Dragon Ball Z: Kakarot9
Feb 10, 2020
I have enjoyed the Xenoverse series and love DBZ and I can safely say that this game is a must play for DBZ fans who enjoy RPG's. It's a nice mixture of exploration and quests with skill unlocks and plenty to explore in the world. The combat draws on the best of Xenoverse while standing on its own with some cool features like support combo's and the "get pumped" mode that becomes available when you max out your meter. I love that pigging out on food is a way to stat build and 'get stronk' for a fight. I like the dumb fishing game and I love you can drive cars for literally no reason other than piccolo and goku did it. It's a great tribute to the DBZ series and a terrific way to re-experience the saga.

Easily the best dragonball gaming experience I have ever had. DBXV was a decent game but the sequel improves it on every front. I am not sure how I feel about the 3 hours per day lobby system but that's about the worst I can say about it.

I really do not understand the terrible reviews. This is a game that cost about $15 on the kickstarter and $20 on Steam compared to $40-60 for any of the MM or Zero series games through capcom. Did anyone expect it would be better than or even 100% as good as the best of them? This was Inafune testing the waters and trying to see if there was appetite and there was but not an insane amount. The gameplay to me feels like a mix between MM8 and MMX, the controls feel tight and the mechanics encourage fast and accurate gameplay which is a hallmark of the MM series. I feel like I definitely got my money's worth and really enjoyed having the opportunity to play something new in the genre. If Capcom made a good new MM game of course I would play it too, but after killing MM Legends 3 I doubt anything will ever come out of there. As for Nostalgia, the original MM games were garbage, yes, we remember them fondly but it seems more likely a case of stockholm syndrome. They definitely had good elements, but the MMX series was far better designed at it's high points than MM1-6. The MMZ games may have been the best of the series ever and maybe as good as you can possibly make. I am all to happy to have backed MN9 and would gladly back a sequel having the engine work all done the gameplay, story and voice acting improvements would be a huge opportunity to polish.

MechWarrior Online7

I have been playing the game since closed beta and all through its ups and downs. I can say at this point they are making real progress and with the launch of CW this winter could have a real winner on their hands very soon. If you have any interest in Mechwarrior or slow tactical mech combat give it a shot or keep an eye on this one. It's been a somewhat painful birth but I have enjoyed every moment I was actually playing.

I have been desiring a game like this for a long time. A long time metroidvania fan this is a smooth enjoyable experience. I hope the sales of the first convince them to design a second longer iteration with even more good stuff. I keep hoping for the next Aria of Sorrow or Metroid Zero mission and this is close enough to get $15 out of my wallet.

On of the most fun arena shooter games I have ever touched. The feeling of flight and hover modes are amazingly responsive. I kind of wish there was a single player campaign mode given how great the mechanics are.

This is a very fun and engaging little shooter. Think N+ meets asteroids and geometry wars PLUS a huge story mode and ship customizing. For $8-10 this game is a must buy if you have any interest in the genre.

I have played both the transformers games by High Moon and the Deadpool game is almost as good as they were. The controls are solid but not easy mode. The combat is challenging and requires good timing like the devil may cry series. The weapon and upgrade unlocks are interesting. The humor is up to taste, but its a deadpool game. High Moon is great at bringing IP's to life. I have been playing on the hard mode setting and it has been an honest challenge almost to the extent of Devil May Cry 3 which in my opinion was the best combo centric action fighting game ever.

The most fun I have had in a Space Combat Sim since Project Silpheed, an often overlooked game for the 360. It needs a bit of polish and there are some serious difficulty spikes, but once you get a feel for it there is a ton of fun to be had. For $20 you really cannot go wrong and I hope that going forward they can tune this solid 8.0 into a 10.0

I bought the game on a whim and was very surprised by the level on design that went into a $10 game. It is very challenging and gives you a lot to explore and accomplish. You have multiple choices in equipping your ship and crew that greatly affect your abilities. I have 6 or 7 hours into it so far and still have only got to the final boss once. Not bad for the price of a movie ticket. Wish the easy mode was a little more generous with the scrap and weapons drops.
