This game is the most important game I've played since Grand Theft Auto 3. It revolutionizes the gaming industry and will change things forever. And it's faaaaaar from perfect, but I gotta say I've been less than enamored with video games as I've got older. They are still amazing, but this VR stuff just hits different when done correctly. It doesn't feel like a tech demo, or a Beat Saber style of game; this is a full fledged video game showcasing what VR platform is truly capable of. I cannot wait for more games to build off this experience, which is awesome. I am only 25 hours in and I cant wait to be done at work just to get back to putting in an hour of two in this game when I get home. The 9 isn't a 10 due to some problems with VR more than the game itself; it's a long setup each time I play, hard to show others the brilliance, and a bit confusing on how to move around and utilitize the upgrade systems, or exactly what the rift is? But the controls are so fluid, the fighting and action is fun (a 180 spin would be welcome), the story and voice acting is fun, and it even does boss battles well! Awesome, Zelda like puzzles... I could go on, but you NEED to play this game for yourself; just play intro level, grab a virtual beer, then see that first giant boss fought on an iceburg... And you'll understand just how amazing virtual reality gaming can actually be.

59.99 is about 39.99 too much for this. Hate to factor price in to the review, but oh well. I bet that many reboots or remasters of old games are worth it (Tactics Ogre and Metroid Prime especially), but this is simply not worth 59.99, and it's sad that the price is so awful, because now we may not see another game in the series since sales have not been great.

Tactics Ogre: Reborn

Anyone that rates this game below a 9 is ignorant, and more than likely, very young. This is an addictive, VERY LONG strategy RPG with multiple endings, amazing post game (the real game honestly doesn't even begin until chapter 4), and great updates to the base game that bring it up to date. The graphics are part of the charm; Tactics Ogre Reborn is must play for any strategy fans! The music, especially the theme from Ogre Battle, absolutely rocks. The only gripe I have is certain areas such as the Palace of the Dead should have better ways to navigate already cleared maps rather than have to redo the battles. Very redundant, and even with palace maps it's painful to redo simple battles just to get to an area you need to be at. Bring on an Ogre Battle 64 remake! or remaster, as it's much different but very addictive.

I'm about 4 years behind on my back catalog of games, so picked this up for 14.99 and WOW is it worth the price. Very fun game, makes you think, and even the comedy mostly works (the selfie with Rabbid Kong made me spit my drink out). Just fun, different from many other games. Give it a try.

Let's be clear, each individual game would get a 7 and 9 respectively, but they should absolutely be played as basically one very long Ace Attorney game, and as such, it's a masterpiece of storytelling. The music is easily the highlight for me, but it really is just an awesome experience if you have the time. The investigations are still a bit slow, but the deductions help speed things up, just wish there were more.

You will not find a bigger fan of Nintendo games than me. However, I was disappointed with Metroid Dread. The controls were good, amazing **** the music, which is usually a highlight, was a major disappointment. Even the remake of Metroid 2 had vastly superior tracks. The boss battles were impressive, but so many mini bosses are the exact same, so got old quick. And the boss before the final boss was weak weak, just a normal enemy but a few unique attacks. Pretty lazy. Beat it in 9 hours, no motivation for 100 percent completion, just kind of disappointed with it altogether. Emmi sections were stressful and a highlight, as were some of the main bosses, but probably my least favorite Metroid that I can remember

Do not stop after the credits roll the first time! The game's true ending and plot unfolds after the credits. This wasn't explained very well, but is how the game is meant to be played. And what a **** addicting! While the inventory menu is a bit clunky, and the characters aren't fleshed out as well as they could have been, it's still one of the best experiences I've had on the switch!

Fun game, but not worth even close to 19.99. Wait til price drop to 9.99 or under, then enjoy for a couple days. If physical release comes, then 19.99 makes more sense

I am actually hoping for an Oracle of Ages and Oracle of Seasons Remake now. This was awesome, with wonderful music and a return to that classic Zelda top down style. ot very challenging, even on hero mode, but still a great qualify game. I'll admit it was disappointing i couldn't use the D pad.

MAKE SURE TO GO TO OPTIONS AND TURN ON: TEXT SKIP ALL! This allows you to fast forward the text for all of you fast readers! Invaluable. I've always loved Phoenix Wright games, and this one is once again amazing. Dual Destinies is hard to top, but this one is at least on par. I do miss the ending sequences introduced in Dual Destinies when everything ties together and that crazy awesome music kicks in, but other than, this game had everything I love and more. PLEASE get official Investigations 2 and Great Ace Attorney translations over here in the US. PLEASE!

This isn't a 10, but I have to balance out the pure, true idiot children who rate games like this zero. You kids ruin user reviews, and if you're adults, shame on you! This is an amazing game, easily a 8/10 so far. The scope, music, and world are great. The story, not so much, but the battle system is fantastic and if you liked the previous one, you will love this!

A little too familiar, but hard to fault the game too much for absolutely nailing the nostalgia. The music was my favorite part of the game by far, with remixed versions of the classic music, along with new themes such as the dark world boss themes that will blow your mind! The new mechanic is great; turning into a painting opens up tons of possibilities and is used constantly throughout the game! Seeing the returning locations was a bit of a letdown; the overworld is almost identical to A Link to the Past, while the dungeons are mostly the same places, but redone enough to make them stand out. Im a huge Zelda fan and this game was pure fun the entire way through. I would love to see more of these on handhelds, as top down Zelda games like this, Minish Cap and so on are always very good. Keep the 3d on, its worth it.

WARNING this game advertises as 5 cases, but in reality, case 4 and 5 are basically one long case, so it's a little misleading. Having said that, it's a as shame decisions like this, the download only decision, and the localizations we don't get are handled by the business side of Capcom, because because the actual develops do such an amazing job with these these games. Investigation sequences are actually very well done, with checkmark when examining, more direction about where to go, and Apollo's bracelet used outside the courtroom to enhance the game play. The trials are great, with an amazing new end sequence in each case (not case 4 because again, it's just a short intro to case 5) where you string together multiple answers to bust the bad guy. The music in this game clearly stands as my highlight, as it has remixed themes and amazing new ones as well. Athena's mood matrix is a great change of pace that adds another layer of fun. Characters are as crazy as ever, and watching their breakdowns is even more fun than ever in 3d. Truly an amazing accomplishment; any fan of the series will greatly enjoy this game.

Very relaxing, cool, and deceptively challenging experience. The music alone is just outstanding, and it seems this game was made for a touchscreen. Unlike most touchscreen games, the touch control never gets in the way and is executed perfectly. Add in multiplayer and endless arcade modes and you have what is easily my favorite pick up and play puzzle title of 2012. And I was late to the party so it was only 99 cents, and I would have paid much more for an experience this refined.

Final Fantasy Dimensions

This is such an amazing experience for fans of the older, arguably superior final fantasy games from the SNES days. The music (battle them in chapter 1!) keeps getting better and I swear it sounds like Uematsu did the score. Battles use the same ATB system from FFIV while adding the specific jobs of III and V, giving you an unbelieveable amount of depth for your two teams of characters. The story is your standard FF fare, with the world being split in different dimensions. Controllilng two different parties of 5 really helps make this game seem different, while at the same time familiar themes such as crystals pop up throughout the game. I particularly loved the character introduction bits when each major character is introducted, a la FFVI. Unfortunately, it\\\\\\\'s not perfect, but it\\\\\\\'s mainly due to the limitations of the iPad rather than the game. The controls take a ton of getting used to, no matter which scheme you use. The default tends to work the best, but just be prepared for some tough controls when navigating the world map or various dungeons. The random battle rate is also obnoxiously high at times, but this IS old school, so that is probably understandable and gives you more time to play with the new abilities. You will definitely want to turn auto battle on at times to get through areas with easy enemies, but make sure to turn it off when you run across enemies that require any strategy beyond ATTACK! All in all, this is such a fantastic game that I can\\\\\\\'t recommend more. You get what you pay for on the App store, and this is one of those rare gems that I thought the U.S. would never get the chance to enjoy, but here it is. Go get over the price and if you have the money to spare (I am cutting out energy drinks for 2 weeks), buy the game and enjoy a timeless classic that will remind you of the ones that came before it.
