Awesome game. Cave is one of the best devs on the planet in my opinion and you should really buy their games. It's fun, challenging, and has a bunch of modes to try out. Some people may be put off by the loli art but in all honesty, you never see anything wrong in this game. Unless you're a sexist and have thing about playing as girls, you should enjoy this game no problem.

Game of the year! This is one of the best and most mature games I've played this whole year. It consistently adds new things like environments, enemies, gameplay mechanics, and characters. It creates a creepy vibe that no other can match in all honesty. The platform design in this game is nothing short of magical at times, the combat is super fluid, and the story is top of the line. Plus the visuals are mind blowing. You really appreciate what Spicy Horse fit into every nook and cranny of this game because of how magnificent and original the whole world feels despite being a sequel. All I gotta say is that I hope for another and those who associate low quality with Alice: Madness Returns does not know the meaning of the word quality.

Really fun, an XBLA must buy! The controls feel tight, the platforming is fun, the aesthetic's theme is really cute yet cool at the same time, and the game is loaded with content. It's a great buy if you're looking for a new platforming. Worth every penny no matter the price.

It's fun and unique take on tower defense. At least I was having fun with it. I can see how people might hate it, but I suggest giving it a chance because this could be a love it or hate it type of game. At the end of the day, it's fun, and that's all that matters from any game.

Another great game from Cave. It's a fun platformer with cool visuals and a cheap $5 that will see profits go to Japan's disaster relief. You get a great game that helps a great cause. Everybody wins!

Great game with surprisingly deep mechanics later on. This game is the most responsive on yet in the series when it comes to function and the objectives given to you just beckon out to me like an old adventure game that wanted you to explore and use your head. It's great fun and playing co-op with my little cousin was a blast. TravelersTale makes the best LEGO game yet.

Fun game but no Panzer Dragoon Orta. I am glad to see on-rail shooters make a comeback though, and it's been a long time since I actually played one personally, so it was nice to have this style of game make a return. Hopefully with they can add some Kinect support down the line as this would be a lovely game to use your hands with. Overall, I say buy if you're looking to get back into on-rail shooters and want a new game in the genre.

I don't know what's up with critics, but it's not a bad game at all. Surprisingly fun and good for fans of hack and slash gameplay. It'll make for a very entertaining weekend if you ask me.

Quite possibly one of the best free games to be released. The game is absolutely fun and is a very solid platformer. The difficulty is in trying to get better times and that is a real chore in the loveliest way. Once again, XBLA delivers yet another great platformer. The only negative is that Crash Course will more than likely only be available for a limited time and only people who own it will ever be able to play the game again. So download and when that moment of truth happens, share it with your friends when they come over. It's a magnificent game and I for one hope the Doritos company continues to take the ideas of gamers and allow to them to become reality by a talented studio like BEhaviour. Kudos.

It's free. Although this is a remark that will easily justify any of the game's flaws, overall, it's a good game. I enjoyed the amount of teamwork and had a good experience with joining players online. It's really dull as a single player game though. The level design is really nice and the aesthetic certainly gives you a double take as you realize that the game is 100% free. However, being free isn't enough to make me recommend this over all the countless choices of top down shooters. I personally enjoy the Alien Breed games, especially the latest one. Perhaps try there if you want to have a better experience. For the entry fee though, Alien Swarm is certainly a game to try out for yourself no matter what anyone says. The lack of a fee and ability to play this on almost any PC rig for the modern man are definitely good reasons to dive into Valve's offering. Here's hoping for a better product though for their next outing. Valve's free content always seems to lack a certain quality that just fails to live up to the expectations of their full priced offerings.

Comic Jumper: The Adventures of Captain Smiley

Hilarious, original, fun, bloated with extra content, and has probably set a new bar for XBLA games. The game itself revolves around a world where comic book heroes are real and the comic book industry resembles that of Hollywood. Captain Smiley's comic has hit an all time low as quality plummets, so does it's readers. His sidekick, Star, doesn't help the situation by giving him a constant flow of a hard case. Not to worry! The generous developer's at Twisted Pixel offer Captain Smiley to regain his fame. To do so, he must begrudgingly guest star in various comics, make plenty of cash, and reignite his career. The plot of Comic Jumper is really good, and without a doubt the main star of the whole game. Despite the game taking place all in a 2D side-scrolling perspective and interactive cut scenes all being in game and having their animations looped as a result, the dialogue and overall still beats much of it's competition both in the game industry and in other medias as well. The humor is bound to make you laugh at some point. Whether it be a fantastic reference to a film or comic, or a another smarky comment from Star, the game aims to make you laugh as much as it can. Gameplay wise, the game is very fun but unoriginal in this aspect when compared to everything else. It pretty much plays as a classic side scrolling shooter and although the game never gets too difficult, it never gets that easy either. It actually manages to create a really good flow. In fact, the game helps bring about more pacing by sometimes switching into a brawler, or going into a third person perspective where things will either go on-rails and continue the normal style of gameplay or become a QTE event. The on-rails part are the most frequent of the three and offer a different element to the game that's both fun and done in a way where you don't realize you're doing the same thing again and again. What else does Comic Jumper offer? Over 200 unlockable items. Concept Art, 3D model turnarounds, comic covers and panels, interviews, a blooper reel, animatics, trailers, music from the game without having to go back to that level, gamer pics, a premium theme, avatar clothing items, Splosion' Man DLC, and that's not even all of it. Comic Jumper sets a new XBLA bar for presentation, storytelling, and overall content. Trust me, this is one video game experience you don't want to miss. Twisted Pixel can add another big success to there already impressive resume. Keep them coming guys!
