80% (Must Play / Amazing) — This has become one of my favorite RPGs of all time just off the first half, and the Popgoes and the Machinist expansion was well worth it. I one of the secrets could've been more straightforward, basically allowing you to solve it without external help, but you can't really do that without searching for help. However, even if you're not a fan of Five Nights at Freddy's or Popgoes, this game is a worthwhile experience that can be enjoyed by anyone.

95% (Must Play / Amazing) — This is one of the best platformers I've ever played. The character designs, portraits, world art, and cut-scenes are phenomenal. The gameplay is very well designed and fun (if not a bit frustrating at times). I expect to come back to replay in the future, I've only gotten to the summit, but I plan to go through the core, but what I've played so far has convinced me this is a masterpiece.

75% (Should Play / Good) — I surprisingly had a ton of fun playing this one, maybe not as much as with FNaF 1, but I was pleasantly surprised. Whenever I hear people say that FNaF 4 is trash, or that it's not a real FNaF game because it doesn't have cameras (which is a legitimate point people bring up in reviews), I don't get them. Overall it's not amazing, the nightmare designs aren't terrifying, but it's still enjoyable, in my opinion. FNaF 2 felt like a slight downgrade that was still fun, and FNaF 3 (in my opinion) is not one bit fun but has an interesting story. This one is about down the middle and is worth playing.

60% (Should Play / Good) — This is not good horror, but it's still fun. The mechanics are the best part of the game, but not amazing. The cameras still feel mostly useless and the music box got boring over time. It's fun when you first play it, but I definitely won't be replaying it any time soon.

55% (Maybe Play / Average) — First off, the game-play is kinda boring and most of the nights seemed too long, I then immediately died on the second night because [I DON'T CONSIDER THIS A SPOILER] Springtrap entered the vent that goes directly to the office while I was fixing two errors that happened at the same time, so by random chance, I couldn't possibly beat that night. There were points where the gameplay was pretty fun, but the biggest problem was that the phone calls were useless (unless you really like the story) and the AI seemed to be inconsistent with what it can do. I don't think it's bad though, just overrated.

80% (Must Play / Amazing) — The gameplay still holds up to this day and the only thing I don't like is how you are taught how to play, but it's a blast once you figure it out. I was getting a bit tired of the gameplay by the 5th night (which was around the time I had learned pretty much all the mechanics) but I was still able to finish feeling quite satisfied with the game in its entirety.

The high of this game was the intro sequence, after you get through the first elevator it's downhill from there. I was literally able to find missing assets within the first half hour of me playing it. Several of the lights in the 'Backrooms' segment (through the free elevator) weren't visible but still emitted light, and it overall looked very unfinished and very empty. I get that it's probably meant to feel very empty to be scary and all, but it just wasn't, it was actually quite boring.I never got to the golfing segment because I couldn't get enough tickets from the starting room. You have to get lucky enough to find 20 tickets in the starting area by looking in the lockers without having any incentive to find them, and if you don't you have to restart the entire intro sequence (minus the surface segment) to find the tickets. I was expecting there to be some tickets in the free elevator area—nope! You have to keep replaying the first segment until you have enough tickets. Very unfinished, unpolished, and not one bit fun.

60% (Should Play / Good) — If I had to describe this game's arrival in one word, it would be "Disappointing," and if I could add two additional words they would be "...but fun." I've been very back and forth with it because I had a legitimately fun and scary time with it, but it had (and still has) a lot of problems. At the moment, most problems have to do with some of the gameplay and mostly the story, and then there was the completely broken launch... At least, that's what I've heard and seen in others' gameplay. I had only a few bugs (major bugs, but they were late game), while some people broke the game just by standing still. Even then, the story is pretty meh, and a lot of the mechanics were rushed. I feel like SteelWool was way too ambitious. [MINOR SPOILERS BELOW] The six unique endings were supposedly planned to have fully animated cutscenes, a nearly open world with new things to explore in every nook and cranny. And, in the end, they couldn't even get Vanny right, only giving her 2 or 3 minor scenes.

70% (Should Play / Good) — There are some pretty good scares in this game, and the AI for Charles is fun. The map is surprisingly beautiful with tons of little secrets and Easter eggs, and the railway tracks are well thought out. Stealth, however, is not this game's strong suit. The cult members' AI is pretty dumb, and when it sees you, it locks onto you for good. Most of the time, the best way to deal with a cult member is by running to your train and killing them from there. Overall it's not a great game, but a fun experience that I suggest checking out if you want a goofy-looking game that can still give a good scare.

If you like first-person shooters and a good story then this game is well worth your time. It's aged very well and can still be enjoyed to this day. The physics are fun to play with and the characters are well written.

Great story, fun characters, great mechanics, and a world with many fun puzzles and little secrets... The one problem I've had with the game is some of the tilemap art, but none of it got in my way of having a blast!

God, I hope this game never dies, and that Valve comes back with more good updates, and that the bots don't take over the entire game forever. If you like first-person shooters, this is a must-play. To this day, the game is still one of the best and most balanced shooters ever, it's aged extremely well, and I only want Valve to finish the last TF2 comic. Just don't play the competitive mode and try to find some good community servers.
