This game is just straight out fun, the fight mechanics, the game modes, the create a fighter, etc. The game is a great way to feel like an actual UFC fighter with multiple martial art styles and plenty of ways you can finish the fight, the submission system is much better now then in the last two games, now its easier to level up your fighters stats and fight camps to choose from, the only bad things are that there isn't no music from actual bands which gave the first game its authenticity and an actual urge to fight, the game's character creator isn't very extensive unless you work very hard for it, and the martial arts styles that are given to you have only three moves to start off with, which is somewhat a good thing but at the same time it is difficult to balance fight camps and training but if you can find a way to do it more power to you, but this also limits how far you can level up since you only have 2 actions which doesn't seem reasonable given you want to explore the multiple strikes, takedowns and submissions, which there are plenty of and you only have 48 fights in your career which is pretty fair given that there 7 weight classes to choose from and plenty of people to fight, the best mode in the game is ultimate fights mode where you can reenact old fights from PrideFC and UFC. So overall this game is fun as all hell, but some of the choices when it came to career where dumb and didn't make sense and some fighters in this game are overpowered on harder difficulties (e.g. Anderson Silva, Jon Jones & Jose Aldo) but overall in you njoy the game modes and some of the design choices and limitations don't bother you then you'll enjoy this game but if you're like me where you enjoy freedom but also some limitations in career mode then this game is worth a rental but if you just enjoy games like this then buy it, if you are patient enough to get past the learning curb.

This game is fun as hell, the exhibition mode is fun (with friends), classic fights are a good way to get someone who wasn't into MMA interested in it (e.g. me) Career mode is fun but the problem is that you don't age is kinda dumb to be honest, you're "CRED" has no real purpose other than to get you new equipment, sponsors, sparring partners and opportunities to increase your "CRED" the controls are confusing to someone who's never played a game like this A.K.A me but I'll give it credit for innovation, you can go to training camps which upgrade you're striking and grappling which gives you new moves, their is a few exploits in the game No.1 if you manage to get all the sponsors you can use them in create a fighter (which by the way has a decent enough amount of options) you can put all of the sponors that give the most cred and get everything easily and I mean everything No.2 when you go to a training camp all you have to do is watch two demonstrations by the camp fighter and you have full stamina No.3 any fighter you can beat within a minute of the first round you can beat a few times and shoot up the ranks, the music is good but you'll soon get sick of it and turn it off cause it repeats itself soo often, they didn't add intro walks, music and cage entries which would've made you feel more like an actual UFC fighter, but overall its a fun game but there's a few missed opportunities and not many fighting styles to choose from but rent it if you are curious about the game.
