Game was a technical nightmare. Lots of pointless walking around to the same damned things over and over. The whole story feels like a bunch of mediocre creators trying to rehash their favorite shows/games like X-Files, Twin Peaks, & Silent Hill. The dumb music video is so boring too. Tired of people acting like that crappy song is good. Good graphics, I guess. Seems to be all the developers really cared about all flash no substance.

I was looking forward to this final entry in the Iris trilogy so much! The other two had endeared me to the franchise so I was excited and then I played Iris 3. The story is very disappointing, the structure of the game was really interesting at first and then just felt like a total slog. Too much backtracking! If only the rest of the game was given the attention the combat system was given this would be a legendary game! instead it's just kind of mediocre. Story 3/10 Graphics 7/10 Gameplay 9/10

Definite improvement from the first part of the Iris trilogy. Music was good, story was better if a little predictable. Crafting system was much improved, I love the smithing addition. The story playing out form two different perspectives was very fun and a unique little twist I'd like to see more of in games. Story 7/10 Graphics 7/10 Gameplay 8.5/10

My introduction to the Atelier series. Cute game with lots of goofy characters. Story was just okay, but I really enjoyed the crafting system. Story 5.5/10 Graphics 7/10 Gameplay 7/10

Story is virtually non-existent they were happier than hell to plug George R R Martin's name all over the marketing materials, but I'm not sure what he did. About as much work as he does on his own series I'd surmise, which is NOTHING. You get what amounts to lore dumps on scrolls and flavor text on items passing as a "story." There's no major narrative structure. The "revolutionary" open world is hollow, lifeless, and boring. I've seen more intriguing open worlds in PS3 games. Speaking of PS3 games that's basically what you're getting here in the visuals department. I guess the AAA industry is so exhausted from bribing publishers and youtubers to give them good scores they don't even bother with the graphics anymore. Art direction is however stunning, seems to be where they spent most of their time. Gameplay is seriously bogged down by numerous bugs and technical issues. Frame rate drops, save crashing, stuttering, janky animations, clipping errors, you name it this game has it. I guess all the 10/10 reviews are based on where the game will be in 2 years once they fix the bugs? That's some optimism for you! Story: 0/10 Graphics: 5/10 Gameplay: 1/10 Technical issues -2

The GOAT!!! This game truly lays the foundation for everything in the series going forward. You absolutely need to finish the first two entries before tackling this bad boy so be forewarned. This one will have you crying, laughing, and having a blast. Gameplay has a couple little tweaks to optimize the combat experience, but yeah Falcom knew they were on a winning formula here!

Old school turn based JRPG at its finest. This game is the beginning of it all one of the most epic stories ever told! If you love long running shows or games that explore politics, war, and the very heart of humanity look no further! Also the soundtrack is bangin'!
