Gandalfosaurus

A text-based political narrative roleplay game. It's set in a fictionnal 20th century-like world. You're in charge of the country of Sordland, as its president, and therefore have to lead it through several millitary, economical, political and social crisis, both at the geopolitical and the national level. The game is mostly dialogues with members of your ministerial cabinet, your familly and political and economical leaders. These are all very well written and lively. Your choices are very impactfull, as sordlands is at a great turning point of its history. You can lead it to pretty much every way possible, from communism to capitalism, allignated or independent, dictatorial or democracy, and more. The whole story is captivating, thrilling, realistic and immersive. The only complaint i can make is, it's a difficult game, that can be really punishing and frustrating. But overall, a great game that captivated me like very few game before.

A deduction-based investigation game. The game is made of several 2D scenes, frozen at the time of a murder. You have to deduct from what the characters are saying, what they wear, what they have in their pockets and what they seem to be doing, who is who, who killed who and why. The red wire between theses scene is the story around the golden idol, a mysterious artifact prey to all desires. The story is thrilling, the art style is goofy to perfection, the gameplay is challenging and engaging. Not a perfect game, in particular as regards the difficulty curve, but a really good one.

A very cool card game, with diverse, evolving and engaging gameplay mechanics. It's set in a thrilling, creepy and mysterious atmosphere and narration. I only regret that the second half of the game is not as mechanically engaging and immersive as the first one.

A timeloop-based narrative investigation game in a very cool setting, an underground roman city that lives under the following rule : "the many shall suffer for the crime of the one". If one commits a sin, the whole community dies. A crime is about to be commited and you have to resolve this mistery to get out the loop you're stuck in. it's a really cool and original idea, the city is magnificent, the story is thrilling, the character writing is good. The issue is that the gameplay is very basic. The story is far more linear than it first seems, the dialogues aren't so decisive, there is no real investigation system, and the combats are boring and just here to fill the gaps. So it was cool to discover the setting, the characters, the story, but don't expect any exiting gameplay.
