Significantly better now than at its launch but still not without its faults. Many countries lack depth and a lot of the key elements and actions from the age are lackluster or absent. Exploration should have more beneficial or potentially dangerous outcomes and should be more important in the game than it is. Also it’s odd to see such a lack of major crimes and genocides considering the actions taken by certain countries at the time.
