Project Zomboid0
Dec 23, 2014
There are 2 things every game needs to have: 1. Fun factor. 2. A Purpose. Project Zomboid is not solid on any of those points. What's the point **** where all you do is go from one house to another to loot things just to survive until you eventually die? Where are the NPC's? Where are the random events? Storyline? Quests? Mission? Purpose? This game is so mediocre it has no purpose or fun to it. I know they are an indie group but this games been out since 2011, I'm sorry but that's way too much for such mediocrity 0/10, don't recommend buying even on offer.

Far Cry 44
Nov 29, 2014
Right, here's a review straight from frustration. I hate your wild life aspect of this game. It ruins the game experience, who did the AI on the wild life, they ****. The wild life in Far Cry 3 was much better. Does it really take 4 grenade launchers hitting a rhino straight on to kill it? I mean realistically now, I would think one explosion of that impact would kill a rhino in real life. Trying to do a mission? Trying to reach a vital, trying to take cover and heal? Well **** that here’s a dog/wolf pack to screw you over here’s an eagle out of the blue because yeah that's what wild animals do run into people making loud noises with guns and explosions, and why is it that wild animal attacks me only, unless of course I throw baits at the enemy? Why can't they get their share of random eagle attacks? Also get rid of the guy who thinks “blinking” to add realism is a good idea, it’s a very ****ing annoying effect. You know what’s great about blinking in real life? You don’t actually notice it. Seriously this game is a Downgrade from Far Cry 3, you didn’t take the series up a notch and a lot things seem recycled. The new story line has been very lacklustre in comparison to FC3. In FC3 I got a good sense of build up from a regular guy to bad ass with the intro and storyline, this new guy seems to have gone from a pissing his pants in the start/truck scene to a bad ass taking outposts in an unrealistic fashion. Bad job by an AAA company, I expected more.

These guys were looking for UNPAID 3D artist on the UDK forums. They deleted the thread probably long ago to hide their cheap skate, sleazy asses. Seriously not even a offer of royalties, I'm guessing they found the freebie idiots, hope they enjoy their name in the credits of a **** game whilst you guy's cash in on the steam sales. Have a free bad review on the house, and stick it in your credits lol.

This War of Mine6

It starts of very well and fun... but its simplistic nature and repetitiveness becomes very apparent as the days keep ticking. Combat is a little tricky without proper explanation on how stealth and combat works, I've died a couple times just experimenting. Death of a character has a high penalty you will probably lose a good scavenger and all the items you collected and along with everything you sent with him, also all your other characters will cry about it forever and it will be a hard burden to overcome. Resources are hard to maintain as there is always a bigger trade-off to your disadvantage, once you clean out the easy places and you get desperate for the harder places you can start losing characters pretty easily. Once everything goes to the crapper, you then need to decide to start all over again, but the journey is long and the game is too repetitive to keep restarting over whilst keeping things “fun”. It would really have helped to have a save mode to allow players to backtrack and learn from their experiences then go ahead and play a "hard mode" version without saves in the future, but NOPE bad developer decisions again but every game has some...

What's not to like? Batman, good. Assassin's Creed, good. Lord of the Rings, Guuuuud. Good use of side missions & collectables, as in they actually have a purpose, still a little tad grindy, (the artifacts & wall symbols were still somewhat boring and tedious to do) Controls were good but a lot of combos left me mixing up some keys and doing hilarious things, like throwing information orcs off the edge of a building... opssss 9/10

Outlast: Whistleblower8
Oct 8, 2014
Pretty good rated it 1 score lower than the original outlast. Negatives: - Shorter than first game. - Less mix of environments/events. - Overused the tension, especially at the start with the surgical saw guy, didn't leave enough calm periods inbetween. - Less obvious with paths, harder to find way around, especially the climbing up onto things. Positives: + Good to see (breifly) some of the previous characters and events/scenes as the first game. + Good counter ending to the original game, (the fate of the characters) + Good exit out of the mansion, reminding us the original entering of the mansion.

+ Absolutely gorgeous environment/world/level, great job done by the artists. + Interesting story, events and characters + the event/murder order solving and watching the events unfold was good. + Good jump scare in the maze, needed many more of it. + Good Voice acting, decent animations. - Gave us a beautiful environment but that’s all there was to it, very static, very dull and boring, dead environment with few objects to interactive with, how many programmers did this game need, just 1? -Lack of fear, creepiness or generally anything, music alone doesn’t affect me, I’m walking in day light environment here, felt like a walk in an abandon village and woods, seemed like a normal day. - I don’t expect a game done by professionals to throw an early excuse of “this game that won’t hold your hand” that was like saying “this is going to **** in this way but it’s meant to be like that”. - Thanks for not holding my hand or leading any sort of good trail of events to be done, I did the death maze and Axe murder first before anything else. Didn’t help my immersion. - Some random ass object placements (Crow statue, Spaceman buttons, Hidden cave, and water bridge) maybe leave some more evidence leading to these objects, I’d rather play a straight forward story game for 1 hour then “find all the hidden” objects game for 10 hours. -Best part of the game was the maze and the jump scare, it’s a shame it only worked once, and the AI was stupid and predictable and easily avoided rest of the time. -Huge mistake on the no quick/manual save. No I don’t want to walk even more in a static dull environment that needs a lot of walking around in the first place, just let me ****ing save and quit, lost a lot of points for this. -The Portal house, No, just no, too much effort, didn’t need the rooms inside of the rooms, didn’t need to force me to a pen & paper to work out something that otherwise would have been the same outcome.

Borderlands 20

No idea why this game has raving reviews, I must be out of a touch or clearly most gamers like boring rubbish. I've been forcing myself to play this game and I've finally gave up after just less than 20 hours in. Wasn't worth my $7.50 - Boring a Tedious Questing Adventure, Yes the old and outdated WoW Style. - World is completely static, predictable and boring, with a few roaming enemies. - Main story and characters have been boring. - Abilites and Talent points mediocre & boring, (Based on Zer0 only) - Single player is very boring. - No need for a loot system, it's not an MMO. With that said not much reason for replayability. -Cringy attempts to recycle areas with revisits and constant enemy respawning. + Awesome Art Style. Conclusion: Like a boring game with the old game mechanics of MMO's in a first person view with great stylized art? This game is for you.

Divinity: Original Sin7

I enjoyed it, It brought back something that was missing in games these days. However loot was annoying to manage, too many junk items, books and quest items should disappear when no longer needed. Its just my opinion but I really dislike inventory management in RPG's it's just a chore that takes away from the game. Quite a bit of pointless conversations and lore that's not directly related to the current time of things that's happening now making some conversations very boring to listen through, it's like a history class but it's fictional, it doesn't help me immerse more into the game either so I see no point of it (cutscenes of the guardians were fine though). Making gold was too easy (stealing paintings). Some quests became hard to interpret after the first area, leaving me to double check things online, as I no longer have the patience to explore things over and over again. If those things were addressed to my personal liking more I'd give it 10/10.

Rubbish as their usual stuff nowadays. Do you like boring grinding as replayability or being milked for money? Then actiBlizzard is the right company for your games. I still cry a little everytime I think of blizzard pre WoW.

Game Dev Tycoon0

I thought this was a remake **** Dev Story by Kiarosoft, it's actually a completely mindless unoriginal copycat POS I have ever seen. It's one thing to go for the same genre and subject, but another to also steal every single idea. I sincerely hope you guys paid some licensing fee otherwise I hope you get sued and go bankrupt. 0/10, uninspired, unoriginal, disappointing, meh, borderline thieving.

I didn't really like this game so I'll just focus on the bad points in order of most annoyances. 1) Big **** mindless open world pvp, strategy and tactic is hard to pull off when you need either 100 people cooperating or your up agaisn't 100 enemies. Just so very mindless unless you hit low populated areas. 2) Certs are extremely slowly rewarded, frustrating stuck with starter weapons and bored. 3) Pay2FastTrack game (another form of P2W) want to try lots of things and have fun? If you could Pay $60 to unlock everything (likes a normal game) that would be an absolute bargain in PS2, but you know they are greedy. 4) Yes it's a large scale game, but those graphics are ugly as hell, nothing stands out its just dull unless you are flying. 5) Overall ok game to start with but how you play you realise there are better games out there to play instead, on a side note Sony will kill H1Z1 if it has anything like a PS2 item shop.

Don't Starve3

I had good fun with this game for a few hours until I got really bored of it's repetitive nature, this game is solely base on the fundamentals of grinding, which is something that I detest and hate in games now. I have come back to try the game every major beta update, but no update makes me want to continue playing, pick grass, pick sticks, cut this, dig that, catch animal, eat animal, all this for a little counter (days) to increase. People are showing their love for an independent small game, but a userscore of 9.2 suggests this game is up there and past other games such as Tomb Raider (2013), Bioshock Infinity, Starcraft 2 HotS, etc, no it's not anywhere close to those. In fact I had more fun with free flash games for longer periods, I'm sorry Don't starve, I didn't like you very much!

TERA2
May 12, 2012
Tera has two things going for it: #1 Nice graphics
#2 Nice Innovation of Aim Combat (in an MMO) From there on it's a downward slope and it gets very old and boring quickly. I found the aim combat to work better in PvE more than PVP (archer vs archer was ridiculously stupid). Sure tackling some BAM's and instances are fun... at first... but the fun does die out quickly, at least for me. I've tried K-Tera long ago and lvled to 50 and thought the game was disappointing, I then tried European Beta and found that the only things that have been westernised is the language difference and a few map icons, needless to say the European was also disappointing... at least for me!
