Sul Sul! The Sims 4 is a really enjoyable game, even though I played it originally on the PC. The Xbox version is pretty decent too, even now with latest updates that includes cross-platform compatibility with the PC or PS4 versions for stuff uploaded to the Gallery. But playing the Xbox felt a little bit weird at first since the game was originally designed for PC but once you ignore those problems and you learnt the controls, it is actually pretty simple to get the most out of the game. The Base Game is pretty good, but when you add in DLC Packs, it spices the game up very well. it might seem slow at first but the more hours you get into the game, it is actually decently rewarding. Even now the console versions are actually caught up with the PC version when it comes to Pack releases. Even after 5 years of The Sims 4, they are still updating it and even rebranded it to celebrate it, so if you see the original white and the new blues and greens for cover arts, it is pretty obvious. The Sims Team are also pretty good at getting feedback these days compare to launch day, and there has been a couple of community Stuff Packs including Laundry Day and a potential knitting stuff pack. My Recommendation is to try this game out, even if there is bad reviews out there. Yeah, it can be buggy but if you let The Sims Team know they'll get onto it for an update. Other than that, enjoy The Sims 4. Dag dag.

Trials Rising

Trials Rising is one of the most outstanding games I ever played in 2019. And much of it is the aspect of fun and addictive gameplay as well as total endless opportunities in replayability. Awesome stages based on real world places (mostly) and it has the "easy to learn, hard to master" thing going on. The downside is partially due to the fact that progress is only done through player level, and some contracts rewards are pretty bareboned in the balanced department. This makes the game feel more jarring to level up as replaying old races will only get you less rewards. If you feel bored on that end and want to be creative, the game also includes the imaginative powerful Track Editor where your imagination is your true power in track creation, and the artistic people can also make unique designs on racing gear and bikes too which both can be shared everywhere around the world which if the people downloaded your content, you do get some good amount of credits for you to buy stickers and other goodies from the Store, similar to the idea of real creators getting money when a game is bought after release. It is also very nice to see that the Nintendo Switch is that powerful to run this game as it is the first Trials game to release on a Nintendo console joining the usual roster of the PC, PS4, and X-Box One. There is also a decent Tutorial system for you to learn, and if you struggle on some features from the Track Editor, just watch TrialsGames (or formerly known as RedLynx TV) on YouTube to get a great tips and tricks tutorial on many things in the Track Editor. So, if you feel the grind to collect heaps of Experience to Level Up, and get more Boxes (seriously, why Loot Boxes?) is becoming a nuisance, take a break and try again a little later, but feel free to get creative because being creative with sharing content is much more interesting. And with the tracks, it definitely give you inspiration for your own levels. It is hard to find even a similar competitor that could beat Trials Rising. So the best thing you do is that you MUST buy it, even with the Gold Edition where you get some additional gear and a first class ticket to the Expansion Packs when they come out. Seriously, it is better to spend more on getting the Gold Edition than just the Original game. You'll get more bang for your buck and a time to waste positively.

Need for Speed Payback

Need For Speed is one of the few racing franchises that I like prior to playing the Forza Horizon games with my favorite NFS game is the original Need For Speed Most Wanted made in 2005. For over 20 years of NFS and many many of those games, the current developers, Ghost Games and Electronic Arts release Need For Speed Payback back in 2017. I played it a year later, and oh boy. This is what I call an average Need For Speed title. Need For Speed Payback is an improvement of their previous game, which is just titled Need For Speed back in 2015. Payback has a single player story campaign where you play as your crew with the three members Ty, Mac and Jess which apparently each of them are focused on the different concepts of what makes a Need For Speed game. Ty and Mac focuses on races with Ty focusing on Drag and Street races, and Mac focuses on Off-road and Drift respectfully. Jess however focuses mainly on the cop chases which is apparently both the good and the bad thing I like in this game. Good because I like to smash cop cars and trying to escape from their site, but bad because it sometimes has to be done with checkpoints. Also unlike my favorite NFS game, you can't start cop races in freeroam, and is only done when you have to collect... (sigh) a crate and make your way to that place with checkpoints to extend time. The races are pretty good and I can see myself doing them again if I'm bored doing the freeroam just to get the better time. The stuntman ones, often known as Time Trials requires you to do the missions with your crew by doing certain things like trying to stop The House while trying to get the truck to stop. It might seems frantic at first but once cutscenes comes in, it already removes the novelty of the mission and the game itself. At least the cop chases has a hint of Burnout which is another racing franchise that I like before playing Forza Horizon games but are bland now due to the fact that I would play the Horizon games more than those two combined. With that, I would rather play Ridge Racer: Unbounded than NFS Payback which is another disappointment since I played Unbounded back on the X-Box 360. The race crews, yeah. Can I have the option where I can make a unique logo for my crew too. They would say nah! Your crew is not popular enough for this game to even have team customization. And seriously, these crews you have to fight against are much more important than this game! And that is intentionally an insult. My bad but no. This game is bad for the lack of customization for your team. Car classes which I mostly discussed I can handle that easily, car customizations no. I can't do that. The individual parts you can customized for your vehicles can only be unlocked by doing tasks out in the world. Doing challenges is OK but with the billboards, Turn 10 Games might need to have a word with Ghost Games with why that concept is used. I don't see myself smashing those billboards anytime soon. And a second biggie is the Speed Cards which is where performance upgrades are use on that specific car. I do not like that. That is this way of saying that we have to gamble our real money to get crates just to get speed cards, other unique options like underlights, horns etc. I don't like that either. And at the end of races if you win, you get a (drum roll beat) a random speed card which you don't know until you find out what it is. Oh I got a 6 Gearbox?! But I already have an 8 Gearbox card! Holding onto it until I know how to trade it in. Yawn! The AI is also ridiculous in races and spank you when you are using a car that is below only the suggested car level. Really. And then there is Online Multiplayer. Where can I start? Being able to just make point to point races for anyone and you to race on only just for that time is pointless because this game doesn't come with a race creator. And yes, the only point is just trying to beat friends times on tracks. That is something Ghost Games should include in their next NFS game which apparently it is Need For Speed Edge. OK. Other than that with the DLC's which you get some if you bought the Premium/Ultimate Edition and the Speedrun which is a different story all together and different events and I have to say, this is not the best Need For Speed game I played so far. Even Need For Speed Rivals is a much better game than that and that is Ghost Games' second NFS game that I would rate better than this game. I'm going to guess that Ghost Games is going to need to learn to do better in their next one just by learning the reviews of the others. And that is all I can give with this game. The world is great, I like the antagonist Navarro and some of the crews, but the multiplayer, racing, car customization aspects are very much bad. I would play a bit more of when I feel like the need for speed. I hope that is not a movie quote from the Need For Speed Movie which I haven't watch.

The Developer company, Hello Games had a trouble and rocky start to working on No Man's Sky since its release in 2016. However once that was sorted with multiple updates, and the expansion from PC to PS4 and X-Box One, the biggest update, cleverly titled "NEXT" update has finally launched in mid-2018 and I decided to try the game out on PC and X-Box One with the latter I played in late 2018. And after playing a few hours of it, I have one thing to say about going on cool sci-fi adventures, and that is the fact that "I like it." despite the fact that I play Creative Mode more than survival. With beautiful art styles, many many many planets to explore and potentially settle on with a base, and a great range of missions. Some things are a bit annoying when you haven't got the right material to use as ammo for your blaster which I struggle on but that is probably due to my inexperience with this game. I have never played Star Fox, but this is the closest that I see myself being in. Exploring, crafting, communicating with the "locals", and even going through some story mission which from at the moment I try to help out an alien who of course crash landed a ship and I try and get the communication signal which connects to that alien and with one of the primary goals is to try and meet up with that alien. With that, being a Freelancer is actually a good thing in a galaxy. I would only explore and resource gather because of those Daily Missions but I say that I can recommend this game to anyone, with the condition of automatically update the game so that the current update is past the "NEXT" update because reviews before that important update was very negative. Customizing your appearance, and even freelancing and doing things with up to 4 friends in a world is actually a fantastic way of adding replay-ability. Some of the controls are a little flunky with certain vehicles and can be modified with the controls but I'm just going to blame on my inexperience. Many first time players would have to get use to that. The clear answer is, the galaxies are endless, so do your own thing in No Man's Sky and be a nomad or a freelancer. There is many different modes to choose from and I enjoy this game. Period.

For a Just Dance fan that has been playing the games on the Just Dance franchise for almost half a decade, Just Dance 2019 brought to the table the same rhythm game dancing formula that has been use for a full decade with 40 songs already in its base game, the game has good menus which I actually was excited to see, a more Spotify-like style menu, bunch of great songs that I personally like it from greatest hits in the year 2018, to some hits in the past (but unfortunately covered because yeah, third party). The game is however extremely beneficial with the songs that I like from previous games, and yes I was talking about Just Dance Unlimited. Being the fourth Just Dance game in the series to use the subscription based service and is still great with the total of 400+ songs to dance to with that service. And there is actually over 400 songs with the addition of Just Dance 2018 added to the catalogue meaning that it would take you so many hours just to dance to every song at least once (i suggest don't do that because the Just Dance Kids songs **** in my opinion). And if you want to be very competitive online, yes we still got World Dance Floor and apparently it is just the same as Just Dance 2018. So really, give that a go at some stage. The game is at its best online, so you of course need an internet connection and a strong one. And yes, for Switch owners (like me and anyone with a Switch), these online features requires the Nintendo Switch Online which is like Nintendo's variant of X-Box's Live Service. So if you haven't done that yet, then you have to do that because games that requires the online feature would most definitely fall for that feature, so get a subscription. Speaking of subscription, Just Dance 2019 includes a free one-month trial for using Just Dance Unlimited, which compare to its other three games that uses it which had three-month trial for using that same feature, it kind of questions what Just Dance is doing to that service because one month goes quickly at this time of year, so my recommendations is to buy a three month or a year subscription so that you don't miss out on the new songs they add in between now and potentially the next Just Dance game. Just Dance 2019 is a great game on all the 7th and 8th Gen consoles with the exception of PS3 due to possibly the fact that the market for that console is a bit lack lustered with more players playing the game on the better console. Just Dance 2019 has a playlist tab full of recommendations for songs in a playlist to play to though it **** that we don't have the feature for making our playlists. So my favorites playlist is way too big for me to even dance to, but the themed ones is pretty good. The Gift Machine returns with similar properties to its predecessor but dispenses artworks, new routines (excluding Extreme variants because you unlock them in a different way), and of course avatars. Another feature they added to Dancer Cards which provides a good touch is titles which gives you nicknames with many that are unlocked with different ways. I like it how I get to see the collections for Avatars and Artwork, showing secrets to how this game was made like only two coaches in this game are not actually humans (ie. that jelly guy and that explorer guy which I have little time to explain). And one unique tab I use the most is the search tab which is great for finding songs based on its name, artist, genre and even the game it is from. No longer are the days where you have to go through the Just Dance Unlimited catalogue to just find one song you want to dance to which took minutes. (giggles a little) Those were only a few years old. So in summary, this is a great Just Dance game, like yeah, I say that to every Just Dance game since Just Dance 2016. The menus are great with its Spotify-like style and the tabs which are very useful, the Kids Mode is meh. The Just Dance Unlimited is still great and is required to get the most out of Just Dance, World Dance Floor is still a thing, and for once I'm actually doing a lot better in dancing myself. So yeah, my Metacritic score reflects that. Now we just have to wait and see what Just Dance adds in next.
