Wow... So, uh... this game is Amazin'? I did not expect to love this as much as I did, and this is comin' from someone that Loved Sonic Forces! But this game is just on another level! Everythin', the Story, the OST, the Cutscenes, the Gameplay, The Bosses... there wasn't a single thing I disliked 'bout this one, and I'm still in awe on how much this made me feel good!

After waiting for 7 long years, it's finally here. How was it? Well, it wasn't better OR worse than I expected... Surprisingly it was Exactly what I wanted and Expected from it! It did not disappoint! My only complain would be how short it is... but not in a angry way of complainin' 'bout it... It makes me crave for more, I want to see more, try to understand more, I need to experience more of Scorn! The Artbook is FANTASTIC, it helps with getttin' a lil' insight and lore bits as you read! The Soundtrack is as moody and atmospheric as you would expect! and it gave me as much inspiration as the art direction! Overall? Amazin' game, it feels it was made for me, I do have a new big favorite now, and I just wish I could forget it all so I could experience everythin' all over again! 10/10 no question. Hopefully, this isn't our last journey into the World of Scorn.

Followed this project for a long time! Okay, when the game came out, it was with some bugs and glitches, but i do believe it was excusable, not only 'cause of the small team (one guy basically did all the in-game stuff by himself) but also because in the following day fixes were already bein' issued. I played the entire game without finding somethin' game-breakin' or immersion-breakin', so not much of a problem either way! Now the game itself... it is Short. And that's a shame 'cause... the game's really good! this is the Biggest Lovecraft-Loveletter i have ever seen! Full of references, nods, creatures and locations from the Mythos! some that i never seen together with another one in any movie, book or game before! It is a small Lovecraftian experience that manages to condence an amazin' Eldritch Adventure in a single game! It is replayable, even if only to walk 'bout with that amazin' soundtrack! And it seems more content is on the way! SO COUNT ME IN! 10/10

Let's begin' with the positive, shall we? -Art -Themes -Soundtrack -Gameplay -Acting And the short negatives: -Gameplay variation -Kind of short Basically, this game is beyond worth it! It has rough patches that are easily overlooked due to the non-impact it has on your gameplay and/or story-telling, the innovative gameplay takes just a while to get used to, it's pretty easy to control once you give it a go a few times (there is a tutorial before either the multiplayer or singleplayer) the only difficulty gameplay-wise is the different teams in multiplayer since they all have different stats and abilities, but there you can test them before playing. overall... this is a game that I have been waiting for, for a long time! maybe it's just the coincidence of mixing stuff I love, but I do love this game! I do hope for more in the future, V1interactive gave the first step, lets hope for many more in this journey! :D

Being a"First Wave Founder", i saw development closely and of course, due to the NDA contract,i didn't spill a drop of it I've been an Insider/Tester for 4 years now,and i saw elements come and go, characters change, and engine tinkered, But i can safely say that they did all the right choices! About the game itself, it's a"Space Opera Game" The game name is true to its roots, it is, in essence, a Star Control game(the "Origins" part of it is explained in the game)a Star Control game, and SO Much more: - The *Conversation* part has a lot of options and"moral choices",when you say and do certain things, you can visibly see the reaction on the alien's face (or whatever body they have, some are very weird!)some aliens also have alternate versions of themselves due to being different individuals, and that's neat! while meeting new aliens ships,You COULD go"guns ablazin'"you could also hail them and talk to them!can't promise all of the aliens of our galaxy are willing to listen though. - The *Ship Battles* are very addicting, if you got a right group combination, there are MANY ships to look from, and of course, not all of them will be right for you, but you can test them out quickly by filling ship slots and going on a non-ranking battle against ****, the Battlefields can be vast and full of different hazards, some have 1 to 3 planets on it, some have"energy leech nebulas"that drain your ship of energy, asteroids can give you an edge against other players or crush your **** battlefield is also littered with Pick-ups,shield,energy,crew,speed and etc. - The *Space Exploration* is the core of the game i would say, after you get hyperspace-borne you are free to roam and explore our sector of space! the map is GIGANTIC, and for added awesomeness, it's an accurate representation of our galaxy stars, with names and distances being the most realistic without destroying gameplay, but beware, your ship begins very underprepared, you don't have enough fuel to go EVERYWHERE,while you CAN go in every direction,it's wise to calculate on where you can go, get some resources to sell on Space Bases and buy parts to upgrade your ship, but let's say you have a fully upgraded ship, it does not matter where in the "story"you are, no place is restricted, so even with the ship limitations, you have a sense of freedom in the cold reaches of the galaxy! - The *Planet Exploration* is an addicting part of the game, you go to a planet with your ship and search for a landing zone, have found it,you launch a Lander on the planet, and after a "stability minigame"you land , now you have the freedom to roam around it, collecting floating resources! resources change depending on the planet, like Acid planets have acidic elements and so on, some kinds of planets like the Acid planets, there are ambient hazard, planets that can melt, freeze or blow up your lander.again, you can escape danger with ship upgrades, but there are also upgrades that help exploration, such as boosters, jump-modules and GUNS! for what? Not all Aliens of our galaxy are sentient, some are just animals as we have here on Earth, and some are More akin to Dinosaurs, some are also Gentle Giants and some are not even Organic, and that's another thing you can find on a planet:Cities,Caves, and even Crashed Ships - The *Soundtrack* is Futuristic and Mechanic when it needs to be, Organic and Tribal or even Dangerous or Happy!either way, it's also helpful, each alien race has it's own theme, and if you are in their territory or near a base, their respective theme will play in a slow and forboding remix or happy and safe tune - The *Voice Acting* is one of my favorite parts of the game!it's very different between races, giving each a personality, and you can already tell the personality with the first line out of their mouths (the ones that have 'em) it does make me want to talk more to the majority of characters, to hear their voices and responses, also there is a hand log that shows what the character said if you want to skip, clicking on said line on the log, makes the character talk again! - The *Builder* is another core element of Origins, the ability to Build Ships, Structures, Planets, and even Universes! the goal of the game aside from its main Origins-Universe, is giving the player the ability to make its own story with these tools, an ambitious idea that i'm hopeful it will pay out! with these tools, you can not only make your own universe, but making existing ones like Star Wars or Mass Effect! it's hard, but possible! Of course,i missed a lot of elements,i expect much more in the future, not only as Free Updates and DLC, but as a growing community that can share Ships, Buildings and etc, and believe me, the game is HUGE!There IS a "Main Story" but it's not the only one, there are SO MANY MORE! Hope this does well, the development got underserved fire because it's not the old Star Control, but i say, this is the PERFECT reboot for the Series!

Let's get ready for an Very Unpopular Opinion! ... I loved the game! Yay! Having finished the game in just 5 hours, i really wanted it to be longer, but nowadays it's hard to find a game with the lenght you would wanted. This game has Story, Has Plot, but its just not the core of the game i feel, but the Story is enough, it is simple and has some twists, i like how it made look like a movie (that can be said to many other Sonic games, but this one felt more Cinematic) The Soundtrack unsuprisingly is AWESOME, Sometimes brings the tension up, and sometimes brings Emotions up. The Gameplay is the one Expected, so no suprise there, the Diferences in gameplay between the 3 Characters are diverse enough to keep ya entrertained, the Avatar/Rookie has weapons which is nice, its something we almost never see in Sonic games. The Levels are Short and Diverse, there are 30 levels in the game (not counting Episode Shadow and Extra Levels) i wish some of them were longer, but they are fine. Customisation of your Character is INSANE, so many diferent things you can wear, put, paint... its really fun! i wish there were more Animal options though, and choosing the colors of some pieces would be nice. Overall... this is one of my Favorite Modern Sonic games, its up there with Sonic Generations, i give it an 9.0/10! Well, now to Wait for SEGA to release the next one!

Not only does this game brings the Classic and Nostalgic feel of the older Sonic games, but also add so many new things that you Do feel this is the proper continuation of the Classic Sonic games! Amazing Music, Great Pixel Graphics and Firm Controls (that can be configured at will) makes this game one of the best of it's kind! This game actually made me tear up, my first gaming console was a Megadrive (Aka: Sega Genesis) and Sonic 1 was my first game ever, i almost feel like i am re-entering this world for the first time, its amazing, and i am forever grateful! 10/10 Easily!
