It's a really beautiful **** more like a narrative story, accompanied by an atmospheric soundtrack. I would love to recommend this **** after having completed it in less than 4 hours, I simply can't. It's really sad that the work of creating a truly beautiful environment and soundtrack, is diminished by a severe lack of actual game content. It's actually a quite captivating story, but you're kind of left with a 'Is that it?' feeling when the much too short storyline comes to end.

It's cute, good fun, addictive, but gets old pretty fast. Characters aren't that different, as everyone can use the same gear, so you'll probably end up just using one favorite. Character level resets with each dungeon run, which makes progressing for unlocks a grind. Not exactly a bad game, but could have used a little more thought. All considered, not worth the 15€ price tag. But for 50% or more off, it's worth a go.

This game is a highly story driven detective game. It has a fresh new approach, taking place in a purgatory-like environment between the living and the dead. You are Ronan O'Connor, a cop detective with a blemished criminal past, who are killed by a mysterious serial killer, in the small town of Salem. As O'Connors ghost, you set out to find your own killer. Being a ghost has a few drawbacks (apart from being dead). Those being very restricted to how you can interact with the world around you. But it also comes with perks, in form of special powers, that are revealed as the story progresses. This makes for interesting gameplay - unfortunately the game doesn't unleash the full potential of it. While the game has a fresh new take on an old genre, it does, unfortunately, seem unpolished. Mouse interactions in menus doesn't always work, and sometimes you run around looking for clues that aren't revealed unless specific actions are taken. And while the story is alright, and actually has some genuine historical background to it, the 'mystery' of the plot became clear to me very early on. This left me with some frustration, as I always felt ahead of the actual story, which just made the main character seem rather slow in terms of being a detective. There's a website connected to the game, where you can find maps and keep track of your clues and progress. And to be honest, it just seems like it's made because it's 'the thing to do' at the moment. Truth is that alt-tabbing between the game and your browser is just a nuisance, that could have been completely eliminated, by implementing the website features into the main game. I'd love to give a higher rating, but I just can't justify higher than a 5. This game could have been so much more, if given a little more thought to the new type of gameplay, and a more overall polish.

First off, throw aside expectations deriving from the older Thief games, and judge this game in it's own right. It's a pretty solid game. The atmosphere is tense, if you play it the way it's meant to be played. If you're used to FPS and don't like a game that encourages massive stealth, you will probably not have fun playing this. Graphics are decent, but the main atmosphere comes from the sound, combined with the stealth tension. The use of sound in this game is awesome. I had hoped for a more open world experience though. There's alot of transitions between maps, and it kind of breaks the tension. There's a good number of puzzles (mainly to obtain safe combinations), and most are straightforward. But a couple of them are actually quite brilliant. Despite a fair amount of side missions, the game feels rather linear. Mainly because of lack of effort to actually make side missions challenging. Most are 'go to this place, and clean it out'. Despite the flaws, this game has kept me entertained for many hours. It's not a sequel, but more of a re-boot. And as such, I expect to see more games in the franchise. If they put a little more effort into the game World, the story and side missions, it could revitalize the Thief franchise greatly. But as of now, it's nothing big, but holds potential. Nevertheless, it's an enjoyable game.

I tried hard to be objective about this game, due to the bashing reviews. And to be honest, I think I have been. I've never rated a game 0 before, but this game deserves it. The controls, the physics and the flow of this game is just plain awful. If I didn't know better I'd think this was a graphic overhauled knock-off of the real FlatOut games. Sure, there's a lot of game modes, new exiting tracks, arenas and stunt courses, loads of different cars and characters. But everything just loses it's value due to the awful controls, physics and overall flow of the game. I'll advise every possible buyer to stick with FlatOut 2, which is hilarious fun. This game is not even worth playing for free.

I find this game incredibly addictive and fun to play, though most of the time playing it goes with thinking about what to do, and how to solve the problems that come up. Try to make the society you want, and you will fail. Try to make a society that works, and you will succeed. If you're not into politics, this is NOT the game for you. Every game you start with a solid debt and a boatload of problems that you have to get rid off. Without pissing off too many voters. It's a lot harder than it sounds. There's no mercy in this game. If you piss off the voters, they'll punish you at once. A lot of what you can do has inertia effects, and may take up to two years to come to full effect. Most tax-fiddling will be instantaneous though. Your cabinet gains (or loses) political power, which is what you use to pass laws. If the public are dissatisfied you lose some, and if they're happy you gain some. And without it, it's very limited what you can change or do. There's 10 different countries to play, and they all have different voters and problems. If you're into modding and know a little programming, you can make your own countries, laws, events; and even choose your own voter behavior. You win the game if you manage to stay in office the full number of periods you've chosen to play (1-10), and you lose by not getting re-elected or by reaching the maximum allowed debt (differs according to country). It's not worth the full 20

I'm not really a Batman fan. But this game is AWESOME :-D Controls are very intuitive which makes fighting bad guys really fun. The game has great graphics and nice slow motion effects when you off badguys in style. A solid 9.

This game is simply AWESOME ! If you played Arkham Asylym and loved it, you'll be ecstatic with Arkham City, because everything just got better. You just can't help feeling totally badass when playing as The Dark Knight, beating up common criminals and the occasional evil mastermind. Lots of fighting, lots of gadgets, lots of riddles in a spectacular graphic experience. Once you get going, it's hard to put down. And they even made Batman's sidekick Robin somewhat badass - not the typical gay whimp we're used to from early comics, movies and TV series. You can play As Batman (of course) and Catwoman, and Robin and Nightwing in a DLC installment. Each with their own special moves and abilities. You'll be cheating yourself from a great gaming experience by not getting it.

I'm absolutely astonished by this game. Agreed, the graphics are not much to look at, but the gameplay more than makes up for it. This is tactical excellence to the fullest. Basicly, you take full control of a squad of infiltrators, and have to eliminate the opposing force. Micromanagement is a must if you want to succeed in this game, and this makes the planning sequence of the game crucial to your success. Turns are in 5 second intervals that you have to plan out in advance, and not knowing what the enemy will do can have lethal consequences if you're sloppy in your planning. If you're impatient of nature, this is NOT a game for you, especially in multiplayer where waiting for the other player to finish the planning can be quite long. But if you like turn based strategy and tactics, the gameplay will keep you hooked for hours.

This old school, tile based, real time RPG Adventure is awesome. If you like dungeon crawlers, this is a great indie title to get your hands on. Don't expect anything like Skyrim, or the likes of that, because this IS old school. Graphics, sound and athmosphere is above decent. Many hours of exploration to do, if you're into these kind of games. I don't regret buying it at full price.

Great game. **** 'retro' graphics though. With the graphic potential of modern hardware, graphics that look like a mid 80's Commodore game just seems like cutting corners. Still, the game has lots of replay value as no to games are the same. Permadeath is on by default, and I recommend playing that way. Makes it a lot more interesting. Easy worth full price if you love old school RPG.

Having clocked 500+ hrs into this game I'm beginning to see the shortcomings of it. The game is ok up to a certain point. All the annoying stuff from D2 has been removed more or less effectively, but has resulted in the birth of new and worse problems. The skillsystem is great, and the removal of manual statpoint allocation doesn't ruin the game, in my opinion. The story is ok, but could have been so much better. The gameplay follows the well known recipe from D2. Battle is fast paced and sometimes hectic, especially in the later difficulties. But the game fails on two very critical points - item drops and endgame. Good loot is hard to come by, by farming and when you happen to get a rare or legendary drop, it's usually worthless. When you've finally given up on farming loot because it's no fun, the interest in the game drops like a rock. That's when you might go to the AH for gear **** by doing that you lower your chances for decent drops even further....which again might make you go to the AH. It's a death spiral of boredom when you hit that point. As far as endgame...well once you've hit the level cap there's really not much more to do but farm gear. And since farming for good gear is like searching for water in a desert, it'll soon stop being fun. Basicly, the drop system, the AH and the level cap combined secures that the game stops being fun. This game can only be saved by buffing the drops significantly, removing the AHs, and removing the level cap, because once you hit 60 it becomes a repetitive wandering in circles with close to ZERO reward for your time.

Game is fantastic and enjoyable, but has a few shortcomings. The AI is terrible and I have yet to lose a game to the AI. The game needs a hotseat and LAN mode that lets you play more than one person against the computer. And the online mode desperately needs a game lobby. You can wait forever to fill a game with 4 or 5 players. It also lacks the option to invite and play with friends online. You can only play against opponents that the game picks for you. Basicly, you should only get this if you're a desperate Ticket to Ride fan with no friends, or if you're curious to the game, because it can in no way replace the boardgame version. I got it from an indie bundle during the sales and fell in love with it right away. While the game IS fun, I ended up ordering a physical copy from Amazon, because of the shortcomings in the digital edition.

This is a fun little game. It supports almost any audio format. Just pick your music and the game generates a racetrack for you. A very original idea. The graphics are no masterpiece by far, but that doesn't really matter once you get going. Good fun when you have a few minutes to spare.

The idea is great. The game itself is mediocre at best. The gameplay is way too fast and hectic for my taste, and a single game is rarely more than 5 minutes of playing. The fast gameplay doesn't sit well with keyboard control and I'll highly recommend a D-pad type controller. There is 4 different game modes, but it all boils down to the same: burn, kill and plunder. This game is good fun if you can't find anything else to do, but it gets old pretty fast.
