Amazing performance from Depp. It's scary how he always manages to give you a front role seat into the minds of these real life people.

Many stories of real life dangers, their aftermaths and heroes barely make it to public knowledge. This movie was able to deliver all that, giving us a chance to live in the events and honour the heroes. Well done to director Peter Berg and Mark Wahlberg's exceptional acting.

The movie spells 2 basic truths. 1: Human progress will always be stifled by our nature of always fighting over resources even if we were to leave the planet. 2: Capitalism will always be a sad part of our societies where humans will never live as equals. A beautiful portrayal of that sad reality. However, the movie totally doesn't explain the cause of the big problem that our hero is trying to solve and how really it's causing such devastating effects across the galaxy. That unanswered question really does leave you feeling robbed by the movie.

A beautiful movie that really shows that the family arrangement, whether bound by blood or not, is a divine gift that provides an ideal setting for displaying unselfish love. The movie gets you tied in emotionally to the idea that family is a beautiful garden that provides a refreshing refuge from the stress of everyday life and shows that such a haven is not automatic, so family bonds have to be built, strengthened, maintained and the journey is so worth it.

At the very beginning, the movie hits the ground running by getting you at the edge of your couch. Every time you'll think the movie has revealed it's entire plot or that our lead female's life cannot get any worse, a jaw dropping shocker will definitely be present to slap you across the face. A great suspenseful thriller movie that will keep your heart racing. Never a dull moment.
