found this game to be OK. if you love the anime maybe you'll love this, but i bought it on a whim probably partially due to the cute girls etc. i played it for a bit and felt like the games graphics weren't very good even for vita. the gameplay was ok, but nothing amazing and the pace seems very poor. ended up basically saying to myself, i have samurai warriors 4 on ps3 and it's seriously 1000x more enjoyable as a game. i can look at porn if i need to look at boobs. i just didn't really enjoy this game and don't care about cartoon boobs so yea. *shrug* sold it and got something else after a week.

have put probably 20 hours into the game by now and i'm really enjoying it. big fan of boss hunting genre type games and this didn't fail to please me. my only complaint is that it starts off a bit slow. if you like story, then maybe that won't bug you but i just wanted to get in and smashy smashy. the co op works great, and it's really awesome being able to play this on the pstv. full screen with a controller and LAN connection is the way to go. for a release price of $30 its hard to go wrong here.

very polished, but ultimately more of the same thing borderlands 2 was doing. not really enjoying this iteration of borderlands personally. the oxygen mechanic is bad, but it's not a deal breaker and i'm sure a dlc will create items that render it a non factor. the game just feels very stale in my opinion. feels like borderlands 2, with low gravity. not open world, just small area's/instances. just kind of the same old same old. if you LOVE borderlands 2 you might also really enjoy this. i have a friend who has been playing it nonstop, me on the other hand after two hours i moved onto other games. *shrug*

if you're looking for a beat em up with anime theme look no further! i think this game is under $10 on psn, and well worth it imho. you can play online with 2 other people, and the game has several heroes to pick from. it has a single dlc that costs 4 or 5 bucks and that adds 1 addition character, and increases the level cap. so you can hold off on the purchase unless you really enjoy the game, and in that case it seems worthwhile. i've put a couple hours into this so far and it's a great game to pop on before bedtime for example. short bursts of beat em up action. check out some video reviews or footage, for the price i think this game is a great value. sadly does not work on my PSTV as of oct 21st. hopefully they add support for this gem.

i like gundam a lot, and feel like i got **** into the purchase of a VERY sub par / ok at best game. first of all the co-op ****. the way it's implemented just boggles my mind. you can't set a game to private/friends only, so you have to reload if a random person joins. when you get a friend to join, they are booted at the end of the level. repeat each lvl. some lvls are very short. this gets annoying. did i mention, the person joining has to have beaten the entire chapter to join any level the host is playing? this is beyond stupid. it basically defeats the purpose of playing co op. i don't want to run through a game on easy, then grind for hours with someone. why can't we both just play the maps together for the first time??? i've had disconnects from a player who i play games with all the time. they live 20 miles away and we don't have the issues on other ps3 titles. i'd definitely rate the game lower if it weren't gundam theme. also worth noting.. base game costs $40. dlc bundle? $30. so, it's not really a 'cheaper game', it's $10 more than retail triple A titles. they hide a good amount of cool mech's behind that pay wall. it feels very OK. it's lacking a ridiculous amount of features for a game released in 2014. not impressed. definitely not giving them more money for DLC. look up video first. maybe you'll enjoy the game. co-op implementation is really lazy, and a pain to play with friends.

pretty fun game overall. if you did not play the original, the tutorial section will clue you in on all the mechanics but imho it's a bit tedious. after you get through the first hour the game really starts to open up. some parts definitely do not run at a rock solid frame rate, but it's not a big deal during battle or most of the areas. i've played the game for about 6 hours so far and looking forward to getting really far. if you like NIS games you won't be disappointed by this sequel. lot's of great cutscene anime stuff :]

i'm really impressed. have played the series from demons souls onward, basically bought a PS3 to mainly play demons souls. the idea of the game reminded me of some mechanics of early MMO pvp/pk like in ultima online, if you kill someone or die to a player or whatever you can suffer. i really like that challenge. the game is pretty much near perfect for what the ps3 is capable of. i'm primarily a pc gamer but couldn't wait the extra month to get it on that platform. plus i almost think it will have more hackers due to the HUGE russian community that will buy it super cheap. i've spent about 70 hours playing so far, two different characters. the game has a LOT of content, and more is added in new game+. the pvp and co op seems to work so much better than before. really impressed!

this has become one of my favorite games on ps3, and man do i wish it was released on PC too! the game is pretty repetitive overall, but it's got enough variance for me in terms of the actual combos and building of your character. and mainly, the random loot drops! ahhhh, this satisfies my loot fever nicely. really enjoyable overall imho. i can throw it on for a quick 10 minute run of a dungeon, or do them back to back for increased bonus' till all my gear is broken and i have to try again. they even patched a lot of great updates into the game for free recently. higher level cap, and 10,000 floor dungeon! i ended up buying this on vita also. a couple times i've played it at a friends house online with my vita, and just looked at his TV set to control my character. kind of lame that you can't just both sign onto the ps3 somehow and use your own characters though. not a huge deal overall, can still play local co op but only with characters found on the logged in persons account. definitely check this game out!

NEGATIVES: for something so polished there are design choices that make you really scratch your head. #1 thing i hate about this game, no audio mixing??? seriously? the music is ok at best. after an hour or two you just want to turn it off. i'd really like to listen to the sounds of monsters and listen to my own music. tears.

enjoying it so far, but it's really not 'next gen'. i'm primarily a pc gamer and i've been doing pretty well this past couple months so figured why not just buy a ps4. i had a couple pre-ordered for resale on ebay so went ahead and got killzone with the system. been kind of craving a mindless fps game to play, and just wans't feeling the new BF4 or COD so i wasn't expecting to be blown away. the game is pretty good but nothing special in any way so far. it's fun, maybe others will enjoy it more as it's my first killzone title. i primarily have played multi, which is pretty varied. honestly though, my first thoughts after loading up the game were my pc could have done this 4 years ago easily... haha. i hope the new architecture helps ports go over to pc easier. the console is decent, and the game is ok, but i will probably end up selling the console down the line and sticking to pc. curiosity got the best of me really. if you have lots of friends that play games on ps4 though, it might be a lot more fun for you. that's a big part in the equation for multiplayer.

i got this game the day it was released on steam, and about an hour after i was left more puzzled than anything the game had offered. it wasn't due to the story, or not being capable of deep thought. some of my favorite films are from the likes of tarkovsky (where the stalker game came from), jodorowski, and have a love of art, literature and all things strange, minimal etc. as my user name would imply i've played games of every genre since DOS. point and click adventures and so on. something like dark seed, or the path is really more reminiscent of what i had hoped for. dear esther just kind of tells you a story for an hour. at the end, i had no desire to replay it, and was left wondering if the money invested went to licensing fee's to pay for the music and narration. a few things change places, and a bit of the dialog is mixed up in replays. there's absolutely no puzzles, or interactivity other than listening watching and holding forward. upon sharing these thoughts on a forum like steam, you're immediately clawed at by a relentless army of fanboys who must have skipped over the last 20 years of PC gaming. to some this game is probably a great breakthrough, but alas i felt like it would have been great only if it were the prologue to an actual game. overall the experience was very negative to me, i felt like this should have been half price at the MOST, if not free. to top it off i was in disbelief that news dropped saying they made back all their investment, in a matter of hours after release. i guess this is why we are getting video games that could have been so much more these days. because most of them are just cash in's. they see a marketable area and go for it, inevitably enough people will buy any game that didn't cost a million bucks to produce and make it profitable.
