BF3 was my 4th Battlefield game and the only one I disliked. The campaign was a terrible cod knock-off, the coop was pointless & boring, & the MP was campy (thanks for bringing back prone!) , unbalanced & played on linear maps. Everything BC1, BC2, & 1942 did right, BF3 did wrong. This game, in my opinion, was made for the PC because the maps seem to be designed for the PC max of 64 players, not the 360 max of 24 -- this led to a much slower online pace than previous iterations. The one shining star to this game is its effects: both sound & visuals. BF3 is quite literally the best looking game on console, period.

I dare say that most of the uber negative reviews on here were written by people who've logged 5 or more days in MW3's multiplayer alone. But, I digress. MW3 is a fine game with nothing inherently wrong with it. The problem with cod nowadays is not the games themselves, but the community. Having been a cod vet since 2006, I can categorically state that cod has, by far, the WORST community in all of gaming. The community is selfish, lazy, stat-obsessive & far too shaped by Youtube. If you're looking for a skill based, objective oriented shooter, skip it, just move on down the aisle & find another title. But, if you're just looking for some mindless fun & you couldn't care less about stats because you just want to shoot some people in the face, pick it up, because there's nothing wrong with the game itself.

Skyrim is a beautiful game that's ridiculously immersive. From the endless wandering to the seemingly never-ending number of quests, Skyrim will **** you in. The absolute perfection of Skyrim is that there is no perfect character or perfect way to play, just the character that fits your playstyle on the path you choose to take. This game is quite literally what you make of it -- do whatever you want, whenever you want, however you want and you don't need to be an old hand at fantasy RPGs to do so. The only criticism I have for the game is that there's no ultimate affect to anything. What I mean is that you can play both sides & it doesn't seem to affect anything: side w/ the Imperials & the Companions don't seem to mind; side w/ the Stormcloaks & wander around Solitude in the middle of the Civil War & no one bats an eyelash. Somehow, however, none of this seems to take away from the game or the gameplay. I've never played a fantasy-style RPG prior to Skyrim & I'd give it a solid, solid 9.8.
