For what it is, this game is great. Better than the sum of it's parts, & somehow more addictive than it should be! A bit of light fun for a modest price. Whats not to like?

PROS-- Massive maps, up to 8000 units! Awesome skirmish battles, replay ability is great (still playing in 2015), fun single player missions, unit variety and technology upgrades add nice depth. CONS-- Bugs like troops getting stuck in terrain or going walkabouts, can be frustrating. Classic RTS, so much fun!

One of the greatest video game codes ever created. One of mankinds greatest achievements, a true god within the gaming industry. Rivaled by a few, but second to none.

This game is a true example of how a shooter video game should be. I think it will go down as a timeless classic, rivaled only by legendary fps games like Half life 2. Super original, weird & immersive, I love this ****. Not a 10/10 though, as I always look for replay-ability in games as a strength, & this fails in that department.

This game is oozing with a distinct atmosphere & interesting story, creates immersion for the player and it does this nicely. It has bugs though, and while original in a few ways it still felt a bit repetitive to me. This is a good shooter, but I'd prefer Half life or Bioshock.

Why don't developers make more games like this !!??! Insanely good. Almost as good as San Andreas . . . . . . . . . . . .

Played in 2015 - Seems to have aged poorly compared other rts games, especially the classics. Visually OK, and probably worth a play if you enjoy this genre, but don't expect anything timeless

Highly underrated! PROS>> Great story, levels are designed well, lots of in game variety with the creatures that are out to get you. Voices are great. A memorable unique adventure, good gaming experience. and has Jack Black in it, with his own voice. CONS>> Some things start getting repetitive, visuals aren't amazing. The journey is great but is still linear.. Like a corridor shooter but with 100% more originality and imaginative. Overall a strong 7, weak 8.

This game is FUN. & that's the most important thing. Somewhat underrated too. Yes the visuals were never great, story a tad short, but it's forgivable because **** story, good characters, and it's way more addictive than it should have been. If your the type to blitz thru games to see how quick you can beat them (lol) you will miss the point of hidden gems like this. Thumbs up:)

Everyone played this game, everyone. So it needs no introduction. As far as skirmish type RTS games go, this is only second to Age of Empires 2. It now resides in the 'hall of fame' as a nostalgic masterpiece... probably hanging out with Starcraft.

Timeless. Still fresh and original in 2015. Excellent art design, innovative levels, immersive story line, great sound & voices, bad ass music... classic FPS absolute gem, The best one to date imo. This blew my mind when it came out. If any one game deserves a straight 10/10, it's Half life 2. Do yourself a favor and grab a copy of this (or the orange box)

This is a somewhat underrated FPS, a hidden gem of sorts.. I never even played the multiplayer, but had a ton of fun playing through the single player missions. Bit dated nowadays but this one gets me nostalgic... good times!

Good solid RTS game. Very good, actually. However not up to par when compared with its predecessors. I would recommend Empire Earth 2 over this. Introduces some cool new concepts but as a whole it lets the amazing AOE series down.

This game is timeless. One of the greatest game codes ever created. I started playing on release, and am still playing in 2015 onward... One of the pioneers of the strategy genre and a true hall of famer. Respect.

Hidden gem. When you stop playing, you will keep thinking about it.. The developer has created something unique and very special. Blend of sandbox RPG, tactical world map with a great 3rd person combat system to compliment it. Immersive in so many ways! Add this one to your collection guys. A must buy
