X-Men: Apocalypse is an absolutely visually stunning superhero movie, and has awesome characters in the X-Men universe, and has a ton of fun action sequences.

Simply amazing - Star Wars: Episode V - The Empire Strikes Back is a genre-defining science fiction action movie with tons of fun, and the best in the series.

The Purge: Election Year may have a more interesting story, and some interesting characters, but there is a big lack of fun missing which was present in Anarchy.

Kubo and the Two Strings has beautiful animation, an emotional story, and a great adventurous feel, making it not only the best animated movie of 2016, but the best movie of 2016.

Blair Witch may have far too many false jumpscares, but its loud sounds, creepy feel, and dark atmosphere is what makes this movie a great continuation to the Blair Witch Project.

Borat is a different take on a comedy, and something that's never been done before. It's complete with tons of humor that had me rolling in tears from the film, a rare thing for me. Definitely see Borat if you want to experience a different take on a comedy!

Cheesy, but brilliant, X-Men (2000) delivers a truly intense story, bringing all the best X-Men characters to the big screen for the first time, including Wolverine, Cyclops, and even more!

Groundhog Day is about a man named Phil Connors that wakes up on the same day over and over again, Groundhog Day. This movie is definitely one of the most clever and unique comedy movies in existence. Everything about Groundhog Day is different than all comedies already existing. It's such an awesome and unique thing seeing somebody wake up, thinking it's a new day, but realizing it's the same day they already lived the day before. After a while, Connors tries to do everything he wanted to do before. You also feel sympathy for him, because there are scenes in which he talks to this girl that he has a crush on and they meet for a night, tell stories, etc. He wakes up the next morning, asking her if she remembers what they did yesterday, and she has no clue what he is talking about, because it's the same day. Groundhog Day is a bit of a confusing movie, but if you're up for watching it, definitely don't miss this film!

The Dark Knight Rises is the sequel to the 2008 film, The Dark Knight, and is the third and final installment in the Christopher Nolan Batman trilogy. Christian Bale is back as Batman, and he is still as good playing the character as he ever was before. His performance still feels as if Bruce Wayne/Batman is a real person. Main villain Bane, played by Tom Hardy is also fantastic in the movie. It's a very unique addition to the trilogy because this is the first time you can tell that Batman is questioning whether or not he will win the fight against him, because he's such a powerful figure. The opening sequence alone featuring Bane is fantastic complete with visually miraculous visual effects. That's another thing this movie does, have awesome special effects/visual effects that are stunning to stare at. The Dark Knight Rises' effects work is truly some of the best visual effects work in a Batman movie to date. The character introduction to Joseph Gordon Levitt's character did feel forced to me, and I didn't think it worked out as much. The Dark Knight Rises isn't as good as The Dark Knight, but it truly is a fantastic Batman movie.

Superman IV: The Quest For Peace is for sure the worst Superman movie to date. There's so much that's wrong about this movie to the point of absurdity. First off, the filmmakers clearly didn't have enough money to make even a fine CGI/special effect look in this movie. Early on we see a car crash directly down into a pit, but there's no explosion that happens or even a sound. The film is also complete with super random Superman powers, including him staring super hard at a spaceship, and it just vanishes. There's also a scene where he uses his eyes to rebuild a wall of bricks. The film is also very famous for having some of the worst green screen effects ever made. There's multiple shots of Superman flying around, and it just appears as if the filmmakers aren't even trying at all to make a convincing Superman! Superman IV: The Quest For Peace isn't only the worst Superman movie ever made, it's for sure one of the worst superhero movies ever!

The first time I saw Skyline was opening day in theatres, when I was ten years old. I went along with a friend to this film, who was very excited about seeing this, and I was a little excited too. Almost every 10 year old boy you would expect to love this movie. Most 10 year old's love to see cool aliens, and explosions, right? Skyline was the first time I hated a movie-going experience in my life. I did not like this movie even as a 10 year old. Skyline is full of very uninteresting characters, which right off the bat, felt like they were lacking story behind them. The story of this film is very boring and non unique. Another typical "end of the world" or "alien" type movie does not sound promising anymore; and Skyline proves this. Skyline takes place in the same location during the 1hr and 40min runtime (which felt more around 3 hours), except for the last 5-10 minutes of this movie. There was no sense of discovery in this movie, or character development because of this, along with many other reasons. The action scenes in Skyline are there, which are the only watchable part of this movie. But that does not change how bad this movie truly is.

Thor: The Dark World is a sequel to the 2011 Marvel movie "Thor" as well as 2012's smash hit "The Avengers", which also starred Thor. Plot Synopsis In ancient times, the gods of Asgard fought and won a war against an evil race known as the Dark Elves. The survivors were neutralized, and their ultimate weapon -- the Aether -- was buried in a secret location. Hundreds of years later, Jane Foster (Natalie Portman) finds the Aether and becomes its host, forcing Thor (Chris Hemsworth) to bring her to Asgard before Dark Elf Malekith (Christopher Eccleston) captures her and uses the weapon to destroy the Nine Realms -- including Earth. Thor: The Dark World was an interesting movie for me to watch, because I really enjoyed The Avengers, but I really didn't enjoy Thor at all. I found myself having a headache while watching that first movie, due to all of the dutch angles. Thankfully, The Dark World delivers on much better levels than the original film did which is rare. This film's story was consistently gripping and I did find myself caring about it. However, at times it can get a bit messy, and in fact there were times when I watched this movie, that I didn't know what the character's were about to do. The action sequences are very fun, which is what you should come to expect with Marvel movies. It's filled with fun action scenes that are executed fairly. The CGI is also fine, except for some scenes in which it was very obvious that it was CGI. The Dark World also has a very good sense of humor to it, which actually did make me laugh when there was an emotional draught in the story. In the end, Thor: The Dark World is a very fun Marvel movie that shouldn't be forgotten too soon.
