This is a fun, quirky hospital simulator with cute cartoony graphics and a rather intuitive control scheme. The problem is that I recently discovered that the developers are in bed with Amazon, whom I despise as a corporate entity almost as much as Tesla, and once I saw that the game allows you to "link your Amazon Prime account" to "enhance" your gaming experience, it immediately took all the joy right out of this game. Don't give these people your money. It's a fun game, but not THAT fun. Happy to uninstall a game that caters to horrible people.

All you have to do to get TRUE opinions of this game is to filter out all the "professional" critic reviews that have no credibility whatsoever as I have no respect for any commercially-driven critic who gives out perfect scores. Learn how to scrutinize! That said, this game can be fun, but the stealth element is complete trash. No matter how careful or quiet you are, you WILL get spotted and swarmed before you exit any level (unless you literally just kill everyone in the whole area, which is beyond tedious), making this game less like an immersive sim and more like a mindless Doom clone (which isn't a bad thing on its own, but Doom doesn't claim to be an immersive sim because it's DESIGNED for you to be a loud tank, if that makes sense). Also, on a personal note, I will NEVER have respect for a 1-player game that allows other random people to troll your game and ruin your experience. FromSoftware is notorious for this as well. If you're so obsessed with competition that you need it in every game you play, then add a side feature that's not part of the main game! For the love of jeebus, not every game needs a GD leaderboard!! Finally, the game gives you 3 "lives" per area to finish without losing all of your progress (which resets after clearing an area), but the developers were beyond incompetent in designing this element properly. For example, if you accidentally alerted the whole area to your presence—because you were stupid enough to stand up from cover for more than 1.3 seconds—and you end up getting gunned down while trying to run away, it's about 70-80% likely that you will re-spawn right in the middle of the fight again with less than 2 seconds of invisibility before everyone immediately spots you and kills you again. To put it simply—this game will take years off your life if you try to rely on stealth. Overall, give it a try and see how far you can get before the incompetence from the devs make you uninstall for good. Once I finish it (on the last mission as of this review), you can guarantee this game will immediately deleted, never to see my hard drive again. ========================= UPDATE: I finished the game twice now and would like to expand and adjust my initial take. Going back to the stealth feature, I wanted to clarify that you can obtain a special ability that makes sneaking around much easier, but that still doesn't take away from how terrible the AI behaves regarding stealth overall (even when you're using the ability). To put it simply: Do you remember how the Predator in the film had this huge disadvantage whenever he turned on his cloak because it meant that everyone could easily see him whenever they casually strolled past him? Did I just confuse you? Are you saying that I'm remembering the movie completely wrong? Well then please explain that to the developers! It's INSANE how many times I've gotten spotted while I was cloaked (and in the dark and behind partial cover, and above the enemy spotting me). That's not to imply that the cloak doesn't work at all—it does—however, you need to severely lower your expectations of successful "stealthing" while using it. With all that being said, I did enjoy (most of) the writing and voice acting from the main characters—though at the same time, I grew tired of how few stock phrases the NPCs have despite how often they use them—and so often I'd hear the same stock phrase being laid right on top of another when there were 3 or more people pursuing me! At best it's very repetitive, and it comes off as an overlooked issue that made its way to release without anyone bothering to fix it, making the game look very unpolished as a result. However, despite all of the issues I have with this game, I did change my overall score from a 5 to a 6 because the story was rather good and I did enjoy the (story-related) voice acting throughout, plus the music for the game was rather decent and diverse. Definitely give the game a try—just don't feel bad if frustration keeps you from finishing the game!

Nobody Wants to [play this game] To call this game desperate for approval would be an understatement. You can tell after less than an hour of playing that no one on the team knows how to write a compelling story because of how reliant they are for flashy animations to drive the whole plot which adds nothing beyond lagging my PC at times (even at the lowest graphics settings). Solving cases in this game is an absolutely tedious slog of an event that I like to call "find the thing that's flashing, click mouse, wait for them to shut up, repeat until you lose the will to keep playing." After about an hour, you'll find yourself at a point where you'll ask yourself "what's the point of any of this and why am I supposed to care what happens next?" The main character is the AI response to, "Create a completely derivative, cardboard cutout of a character from old film noir movies with no personality and that no one will care about." All in all, I'm not surprised no one I know has ever heard of this game. Keep it buried where it belongs.
