Some welcome improvements of Borderlands 2, but some steps back as well and plenty of bugs. * The menu and map are an ungodly mess * Strings and Weapon images will sometimes get swapped * Certain enemies and quest items will frequently get stuck in walls * Mayhem mode's 'difficult' enemies are made by giving existing enemies 5000% more health, making long-range combat ineffective * Particle effects frequently get stuck on the screen, particularly in big firefights * Even with the beefiest of cards, can't seem to manage 90FPS even with all settings on low. Other than that, a decent looter shooter with no microtransactions forced down your throat. If you're mad about the lack of Steam support don;t be. In 6 months time, you'll hopefully get this game in a much better state.

Depending on your difficulty setting, this can be an entertaining sci-fi shooter, a heart-pounding survival horror game, or somewhere in between. Plus: * Side content with genuinely useful rewards * The Mimics are a genius common enemy * Choices impact both the story and the endings (in many ways you won't expect) * Best zero-grav movement period. * A streamlined crafting system that doesn't do my head in Only marred by a few small bugs (like disappearing corpses) and a somewhat illegible maps for the station Exterior. I was initially disappointed about the original Prey 2's cancellation, and that they turned space bounty hunting into Mass effect, but I take it all back. Got it for £10 in a sale, and definitely worth it. Would buy for full price.

Great fun, yet infuriating in parts. So basically, it’s a modern-day super Mario 64 or Sunshine. Collecting several hundred moons is a nice idea, although like Breath of the Wild, some are quite lazily placed in the world with no challenge. Bonus points for allowing the player to go out of bounds, and even placed huge stacks of cash, the amount of freedom this game grants, is more than we have seen in a Mario game for some time. In short, if you loved Super Mario 64 or Sunshine, this is the game for you.

Aside from the odd framerate issues, and lack of being able to rebind controls, this game is nothing short of incredible. This is the kind of game you start up and tell yourself you'll only play an hour, then next thing you know its 3am. Only 10 or so hours through, but from what I've seen it gets even better once the story starts rolling. I know not everyone likes Zelda/Nintendo, and that fine. I hear Horizon and Nier are both great games for PS4, and I suggest if you have one give them a try. But just know that a good game on a Nintendo platform isn't a threat to your livelihood, there is no justifiable reason to blanket spam 0 reviews for a game you admit to have never played. There is not some giant conspiracy, all these reviewers are 'shills' created by Big o'l Nintendo to convince people to buy their tablet. Let go of your disappointment over No man's sky and Watch Dogs: your ESO and your Homefront. This game deserves all the praise it gets.
