압도적인 스토리와 내러티브. 성인을 위한 잔혹 동화 모음집. 마을 주민들의 대화와 사물 스토리텔링 부분도 촘촘하고, 주요 캐릭터들의 연기는 정말 훌륭하다. 전문 장비를 찾고, 업그레이드 하는 재미도 꽤 준수하다. 퀘스트의 분기나 유기성은 훌륭하나, 해결해 가는 방식이 위쳐 센스 후 따라가기 방식 일변도라 단조로운 부분이 있다. 전투가 큰 약점이었으나, 패치 이후로 상당 부분 개선되었다.

훌륭한 액션 매커니즘, 감각적인 캐릭터 디자인 덕에 100시간 넘게 쏟게 되는 중독성 강한 게임! 하지만 부실한 월드 디자인과 강제되는 무의미한 퍼즐, 보상 상자를 위한 뺑뺑이 동선이 플레이 내내 거슬리며, 서사와 성우연기가 미흡하다. 난 모든 옷을 모으기 위해 공략을 보고 이리저리 뛰어다녔고, 보스 챌린지를 모두 클리어하기 위해 홍련과 달밤을 지새며 춤을 췄다.

I've been playing for like 20 hours now since launch. A lot of it reminds me of RDR, Zelda, Witcher, Kingdom Come, and Tekken. However, despite the numerous factors, Pearl Abyss seems to have had a hard time making them into a single river straem. Yes! Overall, it's not smooth. I often encountered intrusive parts during gameplay. Crimson Desert's manipulation of the gamepad is out of the grammar of traditional video games, and the interaction is inconsistent. On top of that, I also see some inexperience in conveying the narrative in the storytelling part. However, I've never seen an open world of this size, nor a game that shows you the full view without fog or mountain walls. You can wage large-scale battles within the world and combine a wide variety of combat techniques at will, and play with the surrounding features and characters with Sandbox-style play. Optimization is very good, and there are so many things to do, such as taming animals, fishing, cooking, horseback riding and flying, sky islands and puzzles, occupation of fortresses, arresting status quo criminals, and more! Highly recommended for player types like me. When I played RDR, I spent most of my time filling the collection, camping, fishing and hunting, and making clothes. When I played The Witcher and KingdomCom, I also spent most of my time collecting armor, searching for monsters or soldiers for battles, and scrambling for secret places and treasure boxes. All three gameplay sessions above combined, I did around 1200 hours. Yes, that's right. When I play Open World, I enjoy going around the map without a sense of purpose, rather than enjoying narratives. Because the game design of Open World itself is fundamentally at odds with the narrative. Being able to explore anytime, anywhere freely means it's hard to force the narratives that the game company wants to show. When I want to enjoy the narrative, I play the authentic quarter-view RPG. If anything, I'm not comfortable with the messy gameplay pad, as I got used to it after about five hours of playtime. Players who have experienced Crimson Desert seem to split up to both extremes. It's a fully understandable phenomenon. This game is definitely not for everyone. Aside from the story and narrative parts, there's also a lot of potential to get better with patches in the future.
