This is the dictionary definition of quality. First of all, you get the Half Life 2 trilogy, which is considered one of the best single player experiences out there. And then you have Portal. Single-handedly of the best puzzle games ever and contains one of the best antagonists out there, being GLaDOS. With a gorgeous and unique setting to top it all off, though it is a bit short. And of course we end with Team Fortress 2, which is one of the best multiplayer shooters there is, with a charming art style at that. 10/10 would paint a box orange again.

Excellent. Perfection. Master craft. Splendid. Fantastic. Ultimate. Lovely. Ingenious.

Phenomenal. Truly a work of Nintendo art. This new entry in a mostly vacant series has expanded and revised almost everything the series brought before, but in a refreshing and creative way. While it may be divisive when comparing to to Super Mario Odyssey, both have their respective strengths and few weaknesses and are both worth their own play. This game will certainly stand the test of time and will be played for decades to come.

This game is not a 10/10, more like a 9 or 9.5, but I just want to combat the haters who barely or haven’t played the game, like ebo8000. *sigh*

While the game may seem impressive in scope, sonic frontiers falls short in most aspects. Some of which include; dismal mini boss fights with frustrating gameplay mechanics, which most games wouldn’t be a problem, but boy does this game have a harvest of mini bosses. Second, sonic may control quite well, but about half of the games worlds are frustrating to navigate, subsequently making the good movement obsolete in most worlds. Sonic Frontiers story is actually quite a nice change of pace from previous entries, though it does feel quite jumbled up as at times. Visually, the game is very pretty, especially during sunsets. Now time to talk about the core of this game - the open world. Call it Sonic Frontier of the wild, as these games have many similarities in small aspects, such as the stamina gauge, and map, and of course the mountainous worlds. This makes the game feel quite uninspired at times. Cyber Space is the games actual levels, which you need to beat to acquire the chaos emeralds, the main collectable. Cyber space has good level design, but sonic for some reason controls like arse. Making the same character control different in different parts of the game is a cardinal sin. Overall, frontiers is a very mixed bag, though I’d say it’s more on the negative side of that bag. Unfortunately, this game attempts to be more than is, even with a promising new twist to the series.

Banjo-Kazooie: Nuts & Bolts is a phenylalanine ****, with buckets of Rare charm and an innovative building mechanic that holds up today. And while you and I may not like the new designs and question how different the gameplay is, looking past that gives you the epitome of a creative game. Don’t play TOTK, play this.
