A fantastic sequel to a great franchise. This is a must own for Wii U owners. It's a software title that really shows off how Nintendo can launch great games for their systems. Great graphics, atmosphere, and gameplay will push this game ahead. If you own a Wii U, you'd be silly not the pick this up. Buy it now.

Animal Crossing: New Leaf10
Jun 9, 2013
Animal Crossing has gone a long way since the original game. While previous entries have not made any evolutionary turns, this one surely has. The 3DS game is the one that beats them all. Missing out on this game is a great mistake. This is a must have for all 3DS owners.

Injustice: Gods Among Us10

It's kind of odd to see other people claim that this version has low framerate and worse graphics. Makes me wonder if they're a troll since this version sports the highest stable framerate, best graphics, and higher resolution. The game also supports Off-Play TV and Gamepad Combo menus to help see which moves you can do. It's extremely helpful. The Wii U version also sports multiple control set ups. You can play with the Gamepad, Pro Controller, or Classic Controller depending on what you prefer. It's true this game is missing the iOS unlocks and DLC, but the Lobo DLC trailer featured Wii U. It's most likely these unlocks and DLC may come at a later time. Overall, the Wii U version is a great game and definitely worth owning. The story mode is fantastic and it's a lot of fun. There's a lot of fan service and a lot of replayability with the various modes. I recommend to pick this game up as this is not what you want to miss out on. It was built for consoles and it shows. The graphics are amazing for a 360/PS3/Wii U game. It breaks the limits.

Kingdom Hearts Re:coded9
Apr 8, 2012
It was only a matter of time before another Kingdom Hearts game came out. Kingdom Hearts RE:Coded is a remake of a cell phone game exclusively made for Japan. Square Enix again manages to squeeze the PS2 franchise into the palm of your hands onto the Nintendo DS. The story is presented very nicely with 2D moving frames and 3D cutscenes. It starts off with Mickey trying to find out what happened to Jiminy's journal. All they can find is "Thank Namine" and a odd message talking about hurt. Mickey brainstorms an idea to solve this puzzle. He brings out Data Sora to fix the bugs. Since they are debugging the original journal from the first game, expect to revisit the same worlds again. The graphics are extremely well done in this game. There are a ton of 3D models for the player and enemies. The textures are quite detailed and varied. Every single command in this game has its own sprites. Most of the worlds are filled with plentiful vibrant colors. You might wonder how this game could possibly be done on the DS! Kingdom Hearts RE:Coded has to be one of the most unique Kingdom Hearts game. It takes the classic Kingdom Hearts gameplay and merges it with the Birth By Sleep command deck. Along with that, you'll find that there are platforming, side scrolling, RPG, and even shooting sections. Before you ever get tired, the game will throw you into a totally new gameplay scenario. All of the different types of gameplay styles are done very well. There are a ton of different music tracks in this game. Although, some may be disappointed that most are recycled from previous games. All of the music tracks fit nicely with their respective worlds. The battle themes sound pretty good. You might even pause the game to listen to the music then actually play the game, that is how great the soundtrack is. Unfortunately, there is no real multiplayer in this game. The only multiplayer function there is is the ability to trade avatars and play other player's floors. Playing those floors will grant items that your avatar can wear. This adds a ton of replayablity to the game as there are over 100 floors you can download and play. Some floors even have secret bosses that you aren't able to get to in the normal story mode Speaking of replayability, the game has tons. After beating the game, you can replay any world you have beat to gain extra rewards you might of missed the first time around. Along with that, you can do optional quests and system sectors to reap rewards. This game is perfect for any die-hard Kingdom Hearts fan. The story is very simple that even players that never entered the Kingdom Hearts realm won't get confused. The graphics and gameplay are amazing for a handheld. This is a game I would recommend to buy right now. You won't regret it and I'll bet that you'll have a ton of fun with it. You'll be playing this game for a long time.

Kingdom Hearts 358/2 Days9
Apr 8, 2012
Kingdom Hearts 358/2 Days is a remarkable experience you don't want to miss out on. If is very emotional and all the characters pull you in. The 3D worlds are an incredible feat for the DS to handle. It is quite impressive how Square Enix managed to scale down the PS2 worlds onto the DS. The gameplay is just like how it was. Real time fighting with an RPG menu on your side. Through out the game, you take out on missions to do certain tasks. The tasks range from defeating an enemy to investigating a world. You should get this masterpiece for your DS, it is really fun and it has an excellent story to back it up.

Xenoblade Chronicles10
Apr 8, 2012
Xenoblade is a unique game that truly innovates Japanese RPGs. Previously, JRPGs were regarded as stale with developers ignoring changing key features for the better. Xenoblade? It fixes every single problem JRPGs have had in the past 20 years. This is what a JRPG should play like. The game opens up with a beautiful presentation. You are immediately thrown into a battlefield. The game has excellent tutorials (that can be viewed again if you wish so in the menu) that clearly explain how the game works. After the first battle, a cut-scene is displayed showing how enormous the game is. The gameplay is simply innovative. Remember how those classic RPGs had you move a couple steps with a battle that appears out of no where? Say goodbye to that - every single battle takes place in real time with enemies on the field. You can choose to attack the enemy or pass it. If you choose to battle, you fight in real time. No longer do you have to slowly choose attacks for each of your characters, you can instantly attack with each of your partners picking their own moves. This speeds up the gameplay and it makes RPG battles much more tolerable. Xenoblade has huge open world gorgeous environments. The color of the game just pops out of the screen at you. You will drop your jaw once you look at the game. Even on a huge HDTV, the game still looks fantastic. Most Wii games look really bad on bigger HDTVs, but this one is an exemption. Playing it widescreen with a resolution of 480p is a treat. The music in Xenoblade is great! The soundtrack is epic and it draws you in even closer to the game. It matches incredibly well with the huge environments. Speaking of music, the voice acting is top notch. I'm not used to British voice acting so it was definitely a change for me. I wish more games had voice acting like this. Overall, Xenoblade is a must have for any Wii owner out there. The game is simply stunning and it shines above the rest. With over 40 hours of gameplay, you would be a fool to not pick this up. Don't miss out on one of the best Wii games out there. Xenoblade is one grand epic experience that truly innovates gaming.
