This Game for me gets a 8 Its based on this game as a stand alone and not comparing it to its previous dark crusade game. 9 races to play with so u got alot of time to discover and try new tactics. The pros: Number of races, game play The cons: Some people complained about loading times. The game is Buggy so u have to get the 1.2 patch. The AI **** sometimes, especially your allies when you are being eaten alive by the enemy they sit with their relic unit at some point and dont do a thing. Sometimes the games are good. not EPIC. U can only find epic online with good players. This review doesnt take into consideration this was a rushed game and disappointed its fans.

Tedious, lame story line, obvious expectations from people you need stuff from ie you have to go out of your way to get a lame item. Unlike the final fantasy series with a balanced level up period, dq8 presses for long level up time or be owned by our nasty sea ocean monsters. The dialogue seems to be read out, majority characters lack emotion in their voice and lack personality. game gets unfairly difficult in a short distance in certain areas which calls for a night at the inn. **** lvl up is wanted you have to prepare yourself almost a few days of playing ( if you are playing 8 hours a day) to start gaining levels at a good pace due to the building of items that can give you some hope of not starting at a save point again or losing your gold. I dont think anybody would want to spend a day just leveling up. it gets really really boring. Some items are almost completey unused by the hero since he got its effects built in his spell list... lame! Resurrecting a character is more %&$% $&^# rather than a phew. The battle system was abit different with funny monsters and a few unique status effects which i liked. The area design and layout of towns and the surrounding nature was good to look at. Other than that not much positives. just another rpg with the same turn based system. Its nowhere near close to even ffx nor as gripping but it does manage to keep you interested.... that is if you dont get pissed at the level up time you spend then its ok. Not a complete fail and worth the buy at a bargain price.

Yet again theres another tomb raider title... great graphics. Dying a million times is possible if u didnt make the game. Nicely laid out controls. More monsters here instead of humans so its kinda more exciting.

Haha easy puzzles but getting the gold relic thing wasnt very easy for some stages. Fun game . Just never liked dying a million times to get to the other side.

I really dont think the cover is fitting of the gameplay! Its so cool and yet blur is a nop notch revolt remake. A good game to pass time and u have nothing elsebetter to do.

A very Kong game indeed. Great game! Get it! lol i really cant remember the good parts since i played this a while ago. However i got this title in my best games folder.

Hehe my 1st game i bought after i got my pc! The game is GREAT! got me so hyped up after the 5 minute intro! The Not so cool cover pic will make u think itsa half baked rpg but... the game was so good i cleared it 3 times! Great battle music and story. voice acting was abit too worked but was fun in its own way. This doesnt matchup to the FF series but it still stands tall. Defnitly worth a tryout!

Pluses: Graphics, story maybe, and BEING UR OWN SPACE MARINE COMMANDER!...sort of. Though to actually see damage taken to units her compared to 40k DC. The different voices where a thumbs up. The equipment feature was really cool. I still like DC the best tho. Still have to try this out ONLINE. AND WHERE THE HELL HAS MY LANDRAIDER GONE! I really expected more units here! maybe even a titan...maybe its too early 4 that :? too little units is the minus. Game is OVERPRICED! These these guys i tell u... sell expansion after expansion with like one or two new races, same feel campaign and a new box cover u love. more cud have bin done here. 7/10

Ooh sumthing different this time! HA! Dirge is better with a keyboard and mouse IMO. I didnt like this game that much jus clearing it for the sake of a FF fan. However this game isnt grand at all. Sure the cg gets everyone excited but at sum point i find myself in circles. If this is ur 1st ff game the hard bosses will chase u away from sqaure! Shelke! lol. Impossible to get perfects here. Nice story . Cant belive what a high user score this game got. Id probably give this a 58

Wow the game looked great i'll admit. However there are too small units on a too large map. My biggest dislike about this game is the WAITING PERIODs for your units to finally get to ur opponents base takes forever! building T3 and T4 units take forever if built with one unit...83 minutes! I noticed units takes a while late game b4 they actually build or move etc. good points r the mega robots and graphics :) it **** when in the trailors u saw this huge ass robot and when u play u have to zoom right in to get a scaled view. Id say get the game on budget like i did. I expected much more from this big letdown.
