I'm not a big fan of the zombie genre, but this was a great zombie film, and makes good entertainment. There were moments, which made it not-your-average-cliched-horrororzombie-film. It had to show a plague, and it showed it well. The one disappointment I have is that it was never directly adapted from the book, which is, well, nothing short of amazing. Obtaining the rights to the book never came to much use anyway, I guess. So much for that.

Zodiac is what you would expect a proper brilliant mystery-thriller to be. It is a **** edge of the seat, and more importantly, a film based on curiosity. Anti-climactic, yes, but it's a true story. Very few movies have such a good anti-climax.

I'm giving this movie a review because I want people to know that my range of scores varies from 0 to 10. But this movie had nothing. Gaping plot holes, and a stupid script. Vic Armstrong was better off doing stunts.

David Fincher and Aaron Sorkin have just shown how awesome a biopic they can make if they work together. The cast and acting, the dialogue, and the cinematography. The movie was inaccurate at points, yes. But, well, I gave it a rounded-off-to 10, so the movie was overwhelming to me. Best movie of 2010? Nope. Second best? Sure. Plus, Reznor and Ross have, well, 'scored'.

Scorsese knows how to make a movie about just about..... anything. Hugo came about as a really well done film about films, an insight which one otherwise would never get.

Late review, but I couldn't resist. This film was clearly a challenge, and not an easy one to depict. But, it upped Slumdog Millionaire. Boyle's direction, Dodmantle's shots, Rahman and Dido, and, of course, James Franco. The film was a complete package, and it is one of the best films I have seen. A must watch.

I don't know if it was supposed to be a serious film or what, but I did laugh a heck lot. The screenplay was really engrossing. And it is simply put, unpredictable, and balanced. A simple thing, enhanced, as most have noticed. Scorsese and, definitely, Nicholson, took it away.

The Hunger Games: Mockingjay - Part 1

A movie which went perfectly with the book. Now that is what makes a good adaptation. The direction was great - Lawrence (well, both of them) mesmerized again with his skills, everything went good. But, the same concept of having two parts for Mockingjay has its cons, which will not be overlooked by many. Nobody sees the point in making two parts. A lot of the parts in Part I could have been skipped, and be merged with the finale. At the same time, this characteristic is what earned Catching Fire the thumbs-up as well. The book was slow, no doubt. But, it is a book all the same. In that sense, yes, Mockingjay I is a job very well done.

I can only pity those so-called critics who criticize a movie based on its science. They see if THEY UNDERSTAND IT or NOT, although it has been, even theoretically, proven. Yeah, sure, the science goes a bit out of the head, but it is enough to keep you going, enough to keep you hooked, enough to get shocked in the end. This movie, take my word, is a damn masterpiece. Sci-fi at its consummate. Perfect 10. Don't let anyone else tell you otherwise. Christopher Nolan has done it again, even better. In the run for maybe 4 Oscars, at least. Maybe more. Maybe more.

Because, Heath Ledger, Christian Bale, and, yes, Christopher Nolan rocked the show. The movie is a take apart from the comical Joker in DC Comics, and the mentally-affected Harvey Dent. These two elements raised the thrill completely. The best superhero flick, till now. Intensity redefined. Mind-blowing plot, brilliant sequences.

That's it. Score says it all. Acting. Concept, which is as it is with Nolan, always brilliant. The best flick of 2010, or maybe whatever I've watched in the past few years. Period. Christopher Nolan is a magician.
