Definetly not where i expected they would take the story. Technically, this game is great, crisp clean graphics and awesome performances all around but this is all downplayed in a game where most of the time the colors are shades of green, brown and grey. The performances can't save the uninteresting plot with an overused message, i've seen it done before and done better elsewhere, including in the first game where the message about "two sides to a story" was under the message of hope and healing. I hate how much this game throws it's message in our faces in an effort to make us feel bad, I don't even care about all the hate this game is getting cause I'm pretty sure the developers expected this to happen when they decided to take the story in this direction. They wanted to fill us with hate and still have us understand that our hatred at the game was part of the message, well, mission accomplished. I hate the game, I understand what the message was and I don't like it. I get what they were going for, god knows humanity still has a lot to learn about empathy and forgiveness, but i think the execution of their idea was really bad, so much so the message wasn't able to reach a lot of people. Humans, gamers specially, are short sighted and entitled by default but more than that, I think the developers are more at fault for not executing their idea properly and still expect us to like their product.

The best mystery puzzle game i've ever seen. This a hardcore detective game where there's no handholding on the game's part, the player's victories and losses depend entirely on their own abilities. It's story is simple but engaging and the gamepay mechanics are unique. It is very original in everything but it is also very different, so there will be people who will not like it for the very things that make it unique. Even if you get frustrated on some puzzles, you must push through, the feeling you get for solving them is the most fun i've had with a mystery game because i really did all the brainwork, the game just gave me the clues. This game made me feel like a real detective.
