This game is addicting. Fire Emblem has always been about the turn based strategy concept and the formula works yet again. The story is compelling and ties together the prequel to it but you do not need to have played the former Path of Radiance to enjoy this game. The battles get repetitive but even easy mode will challenge you. If you want to be challenged then try out hard mode. The character level ups, weapon choice, and position all become so crucial that they must be perfect to achieve victory. The story is long and will take over a day straight to complete in its entirety.

Gears of War 3 takes what I've seen out of Gears of War and puts it in a new game with higher quality graphics. This isn't the worst thing as the series is a compelling one but new features or motions would be exceptional and bump this game to a 8 or maybe 9. The multiplayer improved drastically from being one where you'd have to be excellent to get any enjoyment out of it to being one where anyone can excel and get some fun from it but there is still that WOW factor missing from it that other shooters seem to have.

I applaud Ubisoft for this games creativity. The story is highly entertaining and the freerunning mechanic is fun as hell. Now Altair, the main protagonist is very badass but really you just can't relate to him. The game is repetitive, and is beat by Grand Theft Auto in terms of wanting to just mess around and not progress. I love the beautiful open world but then there are the controls. They are pitiful and difficult. The sequel changed them for a reason.

This game really takes what you expect from the DBZ universe and puts it in a game. The fighting sequences are incredible and the action is simple enough to get in on the action but advanced controls are so compelling you can really separate the men from the boys. The game is lacking GT and regular Dragonball characters but the game is still fun from the get-go.

Resistance 3 is a game that is trapped by the juggernauts that call themselves Call of Duty, Halo, Battlefield, Gears of War and even Killzone. It is a good game being overlooked by a number of people. Resistance 3 offers a quality Single-Player which fans of the first 2 will love and it also delivers on one of the more solid but not daring mulitplayers. The campaign is short and the multiplayer lacks depth but Resistance 3 is worth picking up for Resistance fans as much as Halo 3 was for Halo fans.

When the Wii is the lone host to a great game everyone knows about it. Well guess what? Nintendo made a great game and it sits on the Wii. This is in the top 5 fighting games of all time. Right up there with Tekken 3 Street Fighter Alpha 3 and Soulcalibur. The characters are incredible and extremely fun to use. Takes away the overly abused features from Melee and gives the cast, not a makeover, but a booster. The story mode is an actual story and presents a simpler way to unlock characters from Melee. Each character (save one) has their weaknesses and counters. Great game from the best developer in video games.

This is the best Halo Campaign. This is the best Halo Multiplayer as well. The campaign puts you in a position where you feel for the characters. The game delivers a solid well put together cast and puts you in some tight situations that feel even more epic than previous ventures. The sense of an apocalypse drives the single-player. The multiplayer is the best in any shooter to date and requires an incredible amount of skill to become good at but at the same time you don't have to be incredible to have fun. There are so many multiplayer options and an improved upgrade system brings Reach ahead of Halo 3 in the Multiplayer department.

The flaws: replayabilty is low. Now that that's done, Portal 2 is the most complete measure of Valve's genius. The source engine looks brilliant, not realistic, but brilliant. The characters apart from the player are the most enjoyable interesting characters in any game. The puzzles are challenging but never unfair and you get an incredibly lengthy single-player compared to the original. You also are invited to bring along a friend in split-screen or online and do even more, more challenging puzzles. Best game Valve has ever made period.

First off, the game isn't bad. The game is just not what is expected in the world 4 years after COD4. I really would like to be able to give the game a 7.5 but I think an 8 is deserving to help against the nonsense spouted against it by BF3 fan-boy noobs. If you played COD4, MW2, or Black Ops and liked them you will also like this games multiplayer. It is old and would actually warrant me giving this game a 6 or so but then there is campaign. The campaign is probably the most engaging FPS campaign (not counting Portal 2) that I've played since Halo:Reach and is the best campaign out of all of the Call of Duty games.

I didn't think the sequel could be better and I was dead wrong. The graphics, oh my god, are so dazzling and incredible. The story picks up some time after the first one and accelerates into the action right away. This movie... er I mean game is a thrill ride from start to finish. The gameplay improves removing the six-axis controller from use entirely, and the combat is more effective and less tedious. This is quite possibly the best game on the PS3. And then you have the multiplayer... it just never stops amazing you from the moment you put it in.

This game is the start of the best franchise in the history of the PS3. It is also the weakest of the games. That being said it is amazing. The game came out in 2007 and looks as good as something put out today. The first few chapters actually are slow and uninviting. After that it's nonstop action with the best voice-acting and cinematography ever displayed in a game series. It is just a campaign but there is so much fun you'll enjoy the whole ride.

I'll start by saying that the Battlefield franchise is very new at this concept **** Campaign. If this game were just campaign I would be giving this game a 6 at best. The real attraction is the multiplayer. No one does this task of creating grand battles better than DICE. Don't come in expecting an arcade style shooter like what Call of Duty presents. The games are different games for a reason. Battlefield 3 presents a modern Battlefield and lets you run rampant in whatever seems necessary. Best multiplayer experience of the year. Lacks campaign but you don't even need to try it if you don't want to.

i was concerned that as I was writing this review that I'd switch my score for this game to a 10. But for me to do so would be to say the game is perfect or so near perfect that it hid its flaws. However close Skyrim came to hiding it's flaws it still had them. Texture popping, getting trapped in small cracks, but these are the few things that it does wrong. The game is epic, characters are the most engaging characters I've seen in an elder scrolls game and it is fun to watch above all.
