I played this game twice by myself, and twice with my siblings, and I've watched at least three whole playthroughs of this game. No matter how many times I play this game, the charm doesn't go away. It helps that this game has a really good story, and simple but fun gameplay. Don't let the fact that this was a free-to-play April Fools game deter you from playing this, or otherwise you're the fool.

I like this game a lot. The story (up until that one infamous cutscene) is really good. Especially Shadow and Silver's story. Speaking of Silver, he is a wonderful addition to the Sonic cast, and is honestly one of my favorite characters. Mephilis is a really cool villain and his connection with Iblis and their formation of Solaris is a cool concept. Also, that final boss is quite epic. As for the glitches and long loading times, I think they add to the charm of the game, and honestly, I like glitchy games like this, where the glitches are fairly consistent, and don't make the game completely unplayable.

This game is barely any different from the Wii version of the original Sonic Colors. The changes are mainly just cosmetic and quality-of-life improvements. The reason I'm giving this game such a low score, is because they didn't change the story at all from the absolute garbage that is Sonic Color's story. I don't even really have any motivation to play this game, because my motivation to play games is based on how good the story is. If gameplay was all that mattered, then I'd be a Mario fan instead of a Sonic fan.

I beat this game twice (and I plan to play beat it even more times). The story is really good. The combat is super repetitive, to the point I almost dread entering battles sometimes, but it can be fun to get good at it. The puzzles are laughably easy, except for the last one, which was more confusing than it needed to be. Everything else about the game is fairly good. Also, I like the music in the game, it's not nearly as bad as people say it is.

Sonic Colors on the DS is far better than on the Wii. For starters, the story is leagues better. Sonic's friends are actually there, and Sonic doesn't say all those cringy jokes that the original had. Second, the game adds a new boss fight that is pretty fun, and adds a much better ending to the game than in the original. And the multi-player is far better. You race against others in levels that actually feel like they are part of the game, and not an afterthought.

Sonic Generations on the 3Ds is the best version of Sonic Generations. For starters, they gave Classic Sonic the ability to perform homing attacks, Which made the Classic Sonic gameplay much better. Second, they have a boss fight with the BioLizard as well as the stage Radical Highway. What prevents this game from being a 10/10 is that the story is the same mediocrity as the other versions of Generations, but with less quality.

This is the game that made me a Sonic fan. This game is also the game that made me realize that video games can have amazing stories in them. The story of this game is deep. The characters are complex and likable. Shadow especially. His story deeply moves me and he is far more complex than he looks. Shadow is honestly my favorite character. This game has the best story, ever.
