Description: The Merv Griffin game show where three contestants solve word puzzles and spin a wheel to reveal the money or prizes they can win was first hosted by Chuck Woolery until Christmas 1981. Pat Sajak took over on December 28, 1981 with Vanna White joining in 1982 when Susan Stafford left. The 42nd season introduces Ryan Seacrest as the newest host after Pat Sajak retired in June 2024.
