The movie is far superior. This series is boring, empty and the music is very bad. The lead actors lack personality and the story lost itself in uninteresting subplots.
And its not even funny at all.
The Strigoi look good, thats the only positive part.

You can definitely tell that no one at Peacock or anyone connected to the monstrosity has read the books. Every ounce of this was wrong. During the first book Tatiana was the only queen. Rose would have been half Turkish and half white. Dimitri was RUSSIAN and it was an important part of the books. Mia's last name was Rinaldi and she was never adopted. Sonya Karp was not adopted nor was she the same age as Rose and Lissa. Lissa's hair should have been platinum and she should have had Jade colored eyes. Victor had a biological daughter named Natalie. Victor was not married to a man. Mia was not dating a chick she had been dating Aaron in the first book. Mason's hair should have been red. Rose also was not really interested in him. And not everyone knew about Mia and Andre. It was actually a huge secret. Andre also never intended to marry Mia nor did he express any interest in marrying her. They also didn't separate Royal from non royal at the feeders. They also didn't flash different color eyes for royal or non royal.

Truly terrible. They butchered the story and every character that has been loved since the release of the amazing Vampire Academy books in 2007!!! Other fans of the books will know right away that this was not made for us. Who it was made for, I do not know, but it was NOT for us. Everything was just truly terrible, but the acting was the worst for me, especially from that Stringer girl. Don’t know how she got the role, but it can’t have been ethical. None of these people will ever be our beloved vampire academy characters, no matter how much some of you poor deluded creatures tell yourselves that you were. Thank God the true fans of these books have spoken and this abomination was cancelled.

These vampires don’t really feel like vampires to me because they all have different powers and are mortal. And those other ones that are meant to be bad vampires that sort of just kill for fun didn’t look like vampires to me. They looked more like some sort of zombie that’s caught an infection or is sick (if that can happen). I don’t know, the first ones are more like they are some new kind of supernatural creature with fangs, and if they didn’t drink blood I’d of forgotten what they were, and I don’t like that. I shouldn’t be watching a show about one thing only to forget what they are shortly after because they are different, but I also wonder if the plot is why it was like that. It was very rushed.

It’s like they set this show up to fail, which is sad because if they’d done it right this could have been as amazing as the books are. The plot for the show is barely anything like the one from the books. They’ve taken bits and pieces and put them together out of order and completely removed majority of the books, only to replace all those missing pieces with bits and pieces from OTHER people’s work (think handmaids tale, divergent etc.) I don’t expect actors to look 100% like the characters are described in the books, but these people couldn’t have been further from the descriptions of the characters so many of us have loved for well over a decade now. How some of them can call themselves fans of the books and take on one of the roles I’ll never know. All of my love for the books aside, and this show was just meh-bad. I agree with others about the plot, acting and script being done wrong. The plot was rushed and has too much happening, the acting was just sad and embarrassing, and the script really does sound like it was written by whatever children they have working over at the cw offices. The action, special effects and music were all wrong too. The action just looked like some kind of ridiculous dancing, the special effects were anything but, and the music was loud too and used when not needed – to not fitting into the scenes at all.

Story is over rushed and branches off into other things and they just don’t seem to be finishing most of those things. Like there’s no mention of them again, no nothing. So I don’t think they’d get back to them ever. Very BAD acting. Terrible writing, it’s like they’ve tried to be serious but it’s cringy, they’ve tried to be funny but it’s not and is just cringy, they’ve tried to be edgy but it’s just vulgar and cringy. It’s just terrible. I can’t believe how excited I was for this to come out. Wish I could go back and not watch the first few episodes because people were saying it gets better after the first. It doesn’t.

Way to take a classic novel and make it into some zero grade CW show. Two episodes in and I can’t figure out why such a unique book with an incredible story and filled with so many loveable characters has been taken and turned into this with unlovable characters played by one dimensional actors and some of the worst writing I have ever heard. Is peacock using the ‘CW playbook for shows’ or just straight up taking their material to try and grow its audience? Had so much hope for this but that was quickly followed by so much disappointment. The only highlight in this was the scenery, but even that had a weird blur to it sometimes.

It feels like whoever made this pecked at the carcasses of books, movies and shows past and used what pieces they could pick up to put together and make this show, so it’s nothing original like they say it is, it’s just some weird mix of other shows, and it isn’t working. On top of that the acting is crummy and the script is crummy too. The type of crummy acting and writing that gives you flashbacks to those crummy cw shows. There isn’t very much fantasy, but lots of days of our lives style drama, but for teens… which is weird because I was told this show was for adults. *shrugs* ah well, just another show that I won’t be finishing.

Yeah I can’t watch this, it’s a bunch of clear as day adults playing teenagers with a whole bunch of different accents that change as they are talking which just adds to the list of reasons why this show is hard to follow. The rest of the list, and not in any particular order, is this: The plot is moving too fast and things are confusing as heck, way too many main characters and subplots for them, terrible acting, terrible script, terrible action, terrible cgi (the crash and those dogs), terrible everything. The accents really bug me. Yes, back to them. Why are they all different when these people supposedly live in their own little world? Shouldn’t they all have the same accent?

Started watching this with my daughter thinking it would be a nice experience and a chance to bond some more since we both love the books (I read them when I was younger and introduced her to them when she was old enough to read them), but this show is nothing like the books, the plot from the books is gone, the characters personalities are not the same, and we couldn’t even tell you who was meant to be playing who from the books because no one looks as they should. Still, we gave it a go… and after skipping the not for children scenes we decided that we’d had enough and turned it off since we didn’t want to ruin the books and what we had imagined when we’d read them. Really disappointed since the creators and actors told everyone that this was an adaptation, but it’s clearly not. Will always be grateful for the movie that we got in 2014 that followed the story pretty spot on and was filled with amazingly talented young actors.

Not based on the international bestselling book series at all! All you've done is taken the names and title and that's it. Everything else is completely gone, butchered beyond recognition or race swapped. Peacock, Plec and others working on this show are lying to book fans to try and lure us in because peacock is desperate for a payday. Don't fall for their lies!

Worst vampire show ever! And I use the word vampire very, very loosely because vampire stuff doesn’t pop up much. This show is mostly like those annoying soaps my grandma watches, but with everything mostly revolving around political and royal bs. So all drama and no real story happening. So barely a plot and no character development. I think the no character development might have been done on purpose to try and take viewers attention away from the awful acting that is happening. How any of the people in this got hired is beyond me. You need emotions and chemistry between characters, but nope… none of that exists in this show. They might as well of just used cardboard cut-outs and voice actors. Horrible cgi and action too, I can’t even get into how bad they are.

I don't know what it is with this sudden trend of making a TV show of "failed" book-to-movie adaptations only to make them even WORSE than the movie adaptation but it's starting to get out of hand. First Shadowhunters, then Vampire Academy and now Fallen seems to be going down the same road too. Why can't writers just stick to the source material instead of making s**t up as they go like they did with this poor excuse of an "adaptation." I mean, I don't even know where to begin with all the problems that this show has. But it is unbelievably bad! Little to none of the plot from the first few books made it into the show at all. And none of the characters are actually recognizable as their book counterparts (in terms of both looks AND personality. The costumes and wardrobe options are abominations and some of the worst things I've seen. And on top of that, the acting is atrocious and some of the most bland, wooden and emotionless acting I've ever seen. Every part of me believes that this so called "adaptation" was made soley for profit and to line the pockets of writers and producers. And at the expense of long-time book fans at that.

Watched this for the fantasy, vampires and action, but got mostly drama and some weird interpretive dance in place of the action instead. Really sick of companies lying and saying a show or movie is one thing but it turns out to be completely different from the description. And that’s not all of it, shows like this one are why 2022 is going to go down as the year for TV shows to fail because the studios hired casting directors that hired people who can’t act. Some of the worst acting I’ve seen. Bad script and plot too, far too many characters and nothing really happening and what is happening is rushed with things left behind and not returned too.

Now I don’t think a low budget always effects a movie or show, sometimes it actually makes them, but in this case... it didn’t make it. I’ll start off by saying that the scenery did look good, and camera work was okay, but that’s where the good and okay end on this show. For everything else they’ve gone cheap on the actors, the script, the plot, the special effects, the clothes, even the fight scenes look unrealistic and over practiced to the point that it looks like a dance. Yes, I could have looked passed some of those things, and I did, but actors and script are two huge things that I can’t and won’t look passed, and when you have actors that can’t act and a plot and a script that looks and sounds like it was written by high schoolers that only watch reality TV and overdramatized soap shows, you not only have some huge problems that should have never been made in the first place, but a recipe for cancelation. I hope whoever made this learns from this mistake of a show and can move on to bigger and better things in the future.

So let me get this straight… we were all told from the beginning that this was going to be an adaptation of the amazing book series Vampire Academy by Richelle Mead… but this is nothing like the books at all. The characters aren’t only not as they were described in the books, and that includes looks AND personalities, but some are gone completely, the story isn’t there, and no whatever they’ve written is NOT the VA story that readers love, the school is gone, the incredible world building Mead did is gone, everything is basically gone… except the characters names and title of the book. So Peacock, Plec, the actors and others all LIED and MISLEAD book fans for MONTHS to get viewers?! You should all be ashamed of yourselves and I hope that each and every single one of you that lied and mislead everyone on PURPOSE get sued for your deceitful ways.

I'm normally pretty lenient with movie or tv show adaptions based on books since it's practically impossible to get every detail exactly right but the tv show version of Vampire Academy was one of... no scratch that, it's THE worst adaptation I've ever seen. And believe me I've seen some doozies. I read the books multiple times in high school and then again a little over a year ago, so I can confidently say that this show has next to nothing in common with the books. Not only are none of the characters recognizable (in looks or personality) but none of the major plotlines from the first few books were kept in the show. I won't go into too much details but even though I am by no means a "movie fan" I can honestly say the 2014 movie did a far better job sticking to the source material than the tv show did. At least it was recognizable as an adaptation of Vampire Academy unlike this steaming pile of garbage. And honestly even if this show weren't based on one of my favorite book series, I'd still give it 0 stars due to the lack of acting ability and believability. The acting in this "adaptation was the most wooden and emotionless acting I've ever seen and the character relationships and chemistry were non-existent. And the dialogue was so cheesy and cliche that I felt like I was watching some teenage-centric soap-opera rather than an adaptation on one of the best book series ever written.

The casting is absolutely horrible just like the writing. I don't get the vampire academy characters from this and they never spoke like this in the books, so the script isn’t only horribly cringy, it’s as inaccurate as the casting is. And on top of that, the actors can’t even act! They’re that bad that they just make you uncomfortable watching them and some scenes are worse than others, because none of them have any chemistry with each other. Whoever was in charge of this so called adaptation clearly can’t do the job they were hired for, but I guess they fit in since no one else working on this thing could do theirs either. So you have a show that is inaccurate in every way and so is not an adaptation of the vampire academy books, they just used the book name and characters names to try and lure in an already existing fan base.

If you like poor writing, worse acting and a "vampire" story made for folks who need everything made really simple for them, then you really are in for one heck of a treat with this stinker. Everything is simple and predictable, even when they move away from the main plot constantly and have so many subplots that don’t need to be there because they are trying to cover up other subplots that weren’t needed. And most of the plot and subplots are just drama, making this show basically a soap opera. The writing and acting are just horrible. I won’t even get into how bad the script is, but the late 20-30 something year olds playing teens can’t act at all. Even their fight scenes were horrible and clearly staged. The cgi is as cheap as everything else in this show. Overall, I’m surprised this got made at all, let alone got the past the pilot episode.

I thought this show would be a cute little supernatural teen drama with an interesting royalty aspect but now I'm just plain annoyed. I've never seen acting so wooden and emotionless. It's impossible for an audience to take any of the characters seriously. How this got even got made is beyond me. It's like a really bad teenage soap opera meets a really bad p**no. And this coming from someone who watches neither.

I can not for the life of me see how this could possible be considered an adaptation in any sense of the word. It is just plain terrible! From the casting of the characters to the horrible acting, to the cringeworthy dialogue and total disregard of the books and plot. I'd bet good money that the creators never even cracked open the books. None of the characters even remotely look like their book counterparts and they certainty don't act like them. This "adaption" is so horrible I couldn't even make it through the first two episodes. If you're a fan of the beautiful books written by Richelle Mead like I am, I would skip this "adaptation" altogether. The movie may not have been perfect but it is still a much more faithful adaptation than whatever this is.

Whoever thought making this show was a good idea should never be allowed to write for tv again. The actors had no connection to their characters and it seemed like they were rehearsing for an elementary school play rather than actual acting. The dialogue, as others have mentioned was emotionless and boring and the actors had no chemistry with each other. Was I supposed to believe Lisa and Rose or whatever their names are best friends? Because they sure didn't feel like it. And the romance was rushed and felt very forced. And Christian's lines were pathetic. I felt like I was watching one of my mom's soap-operas and not a show about vampires. I would definitely not recommend this show to anyone.

I decided to watch this show because I saw the trailer and I thought it looked interesting. I was severely mistaken. The characters were all very bland, boring and the acting very wooden. The show was a complete cheese-fest and I felt like I was watching a soap-opera (horrible acting included) instead of a show about vampires and I could just barely make it past the first three episodes. Other reviews say it was based on a series of books, which I haven't read. But I can say for certain if I read the books and then watched this... I would be really disappointed too.

You would have to be someone that doesn’t think very much to be able to get through this boring, rushed through with little to no talent show about “vampires”. The majority of the plot seems to just be them going from one story line to another and leaving holes behind them as they go. The acting was, as the kids are saying, cringe. And kids in this show they are not. Not sure why adults that clearly look like adults were chosen to play a bunch of teenagers, but they were, and they aren’t a very talented bunch. Some did okay, others struggled with emotions and facial expressions. The romance was awkward to watch as it just looked forced and not natural. The script was worse than anything else in this show, it was like they left a bunch of “cool kids” in charge of it; so it is full of horrible dialogue and non-stop swearing.

I watch show with granddaughters and I am disgusted with it. Young people should not be exposed to such things as this friends with benefits and grooming. I cannot understand how this get past companies? Why they allow this to happen? And why this show in hurry to do everything? You need slow down. Nothing explained properly and happening too fast. It safe to say this show banned in our home as it not appropriate for underage people, it target audience, to watch. Parents watch your children and grandchildren. We need to protect them from shows like this and show companies that they can’t keep getting away with doing this stuff. It is damaging to young people. Grooming not normal, it not romantic. Keep it off our screens.

So bad man. It was like watching garbage burn itself bad (taking itself out). Why was this so boring? I usually love shows like this, but no, this one had to go and be boring AF and jumping around so much I felt like I was watching a tennis match. Like chill man, explain one thing before moving onto the next instead of just pushing everything in and rushing it through with no explanation. And if it had been played out better, you know slow and explained, I might have been able to look past how bad the special effects, script, camera work, editing, actors and those god awful wardrobes are. And that’s just the first 4 episodes?! Can’t believe I sat through them. I’m out and off to find something watchable.

Going by these reviews, it looks like this show is not for the real die-hard fans of the books… But if you’re a person that likes to jump on the current bandwagon or are easily impressed, than this show is for you; It’s woke-galore! From race swapping to domestic violence against men to ****, it’s got it all!
Like to promote drinking, sleeping around and give the A-Okay to adult-student relationships to underage kids? Watch away, because this shows really got it all! This show really is woke garbage, promoting all kinds of things to kids. Just check out the other reviews to see that it’s true, and ignore the 10-star nutjob ones.

Was hating this show from the get-go but waited to see if it got better. IT DOESN’T. Couple episodes in and whose name do I see…? Plec. Oh would you look at that, someone actually hired racist Plec again. A leopard never changes its spots, so you know she’d done some shady ass racist bs in this show too. After some searching you know what I find? She hate white people too! Total blackwashing with this show. It won’t make up for what you’ve done Plec! Knew I hated it for more than the bad acting and script. Us black girls have to stick together, and I will NEVER forgive Plec for what she did to my girl Kat Graham.

Wow, another blackwashed show from Hollywood. When will you all learn that black/white/asianwashing is all wrong! You can’t just take from one group of people to give to another. We want our own shows and book adaptations! Did anyone involved in this show stop and think about what amazing black authors are popular right now whose books with black characters could have been adapted? Or course not. Instead yous brought back an old book that already had its time to shine on the big screen because yous are racist f***s who don’t like black people and love to blackwash white characters to try and gain our views for money; since that is apparently the only thing that youse want from us Hollywood. We aren’t clickbait that you can use when you feel like it!

I would rather watch paint dry and grass grow than be subjected to the likes of this show ever again. Did not hold my interest or draw me in like other fantasy/supernatural shows in the past. It was just one snooze fest after another with this show and that’s saying something especially when the show was going from one plot/character set to another with no explanation for what the hell is going on, or why it was going on so fast. The actors weren’t the greatest and just did not seem comfortable playing those characters. Or maybe that’s because the actors weren’t that great? I don’t know, but I’m not going to be renewing my peacock subscription after they just show re-runs or make unoriginal, generic, boring shows. This show and that company aren’t worth it.

The characters in the show could definitely have worked, but the casting seems all over the place and the shows needs better actors and writers. The main characters, which seems to be most of them, are supposed to be teenagers but they’re played by varying ages, late twenties to thirties, and it’s horrible and just not believable that they are in school. Not that this academy seems to play much of a role in this show, but still. The casting is so horrible that it makes this show feel like a hastily put together pilot that everyone knows will never see the light of day so they’ve just slapped it together with whoever was on hand at the time. When shows like this get aired it really makes you wonder how much nepotism has played a hand in forming it because professionals who know what they’re doing could never have put this out there. This is the product of incompetence and enablement at this highest level. It’s too awful to be anything else.

Usually a show has something going for it, but this one had nothing.
Not a lot of talent in this cast. Was embarrassed just watching them try to act. Didn't like those outfits and the set looked weird. Sort of like it was made of cardboard? I love a show or movie that can get action and special effects right, but this one didn't do either. The action seems like they are just dancing with each other and the special effects reminds me of those grey people/NPC memes the kids are using. While I didn't like any of the characters, I really don't like this one character that is an older guy and taking a liking and getting close to a female who is meant to be a student. Don't think it has a place in any show, but especially not in one that is meant for teens.

The plot is very all over the place, rushed and not well explained, if explained at all. They’ll start with one thing and quickly move to the next without explaining things and sometimes without even going back to things that they’ve quickly moved on from, so viewers don’t know what is happening. The actors are very generic and bland; not the greatest in my opinion. Everything feels and looks forced, some struggle with emotions and they lack chemistry between each other.
The characters seem very two-dimensional and nothing about them makes me like/love, or even dislikes/hate, them like I do characters on other shows. I just don’t feel anything for them, no connection at all. They just don’t seem to have anything going for them. On top of that, the relationships between these characters just seem to happen. No build up to it, no nothing. It’s more lust than love, so no romance in this. The fighting seems wrong in this. I don’t really know how to explain it, but it was obvious what they were going to do next and it was like dancing. In my opinion, fight scenes shouldn’t be predictable and should look realistic.
The music isn’t great and doesn’t fit a lot of scenes, and seems to be thrown in even when it isn’t needed to be. It’s also louder than the speaking, so it is like everyone is whispering and you miss what they are saying. I wasn’t a fan of the sets or costumes. I won’t say any more about them, but if you’ve even just seen the trailer, you’ll know what I mean.
I feel like this show only falls under the supernatural genre because it features vampires, but the only ones that can pass as vampires in this are bad and look more like zombies to me.
Oct 15, 2022

The vampires look like zombies, and the other vampires are these weak things that can die in car crashes and have elemental powers that they don't use. Like at all. The vampire protectors or whatever they are, are cringe. Their fighting looks fake af and they all seem to get drunk at this bar every episode, even though they are meant o be protectors. The acting and script are so bad we were laugh crying from them/making fun of them. The sets and outfits just look stupid. Some of them reminded us of Alice in Wonderland, and not in a good way. The characters don't even date or anything and just seem to be doing each other. And what even is the plot with this? Because nothing made sense and just jumped around like they had too many ideas and they wanted to put them all into one season. Not even being high could make this good.

Not appropriate for anyone 18 and under, but it’s also too immature to be for adults, so I’m not too sure who the target audience is. I can’t say I will stick around to watch any more episodes, managed to watch the first 5, as I just didn’t find it to have that certain spark that pulls you back in for more, which other shows do have. The acting and script were both very mediocre and I also found the show to be very rushed and not well explained, so I just couldn’t get into even though I wanted too.

Just another lame show from the US of A. Teen here and I can say that this is marketed for teens with teen stars, but these actors are so not teens. Like, they have wrinkles and I can see crow’s feet. Not to mention the school isn’t even a school. I’m not even totally sure what it is. Like, some fight there, but they have no classes and they live there too, but it doesn’t look like a boarding school. I don’t even know. And I’ve done dance since I was a child, and I can tell you that the “fighting” they do is basically just dancing. And they are vampires but a crash can kill them? And what gives with those vampires with red eyes? I mean, they look like zombies. I 100% do not recommend this show to anyone. Anything else is better than this.

It's got layers. Lots of layers... of things mixed together that just should never be mixed together.
Was really looking forward to some nice vampire action scenes, instead we've got these supposed protectors that are all pretty much weaklings, except that one guy. Don't even remember his name. As for action... if you like fight scenes that look choreographed, this is for you. You could literally tell what their next moves would be.
The computer-generated imagery is appalling. That crash and those dogs?! You would of been better of really doing those scenes with stunt people and actual dogs. Can't say it would of made this show better, but it would've been easier on the eyes.
The teens in this look old as balls. Not one of them can pass as a teenager. On top of that, they have very little talent, or chemistry, between the lot of them. Seen more talent and chemistry between actual teenagers at my local theatre.
There is so much more wrong with this show, but all-in-all...
This show is a lot like that one part English trifle and one part shepherd's pie that Rachel made on friends. Only people that aren't too bright like Joey will like it.

This show is being spammed with votes and reviews (by the same people from multiple accounts) to try and get its views up so it gets renewed; and the producers, writers and cast are even begging people to... that's how bad it is. Poor acting by most of the cast; very wooden and feels forced. They're also all way too old to be playing teenagers and barely any of them have any chemistry together, so certain scenes are very uncomfortable for everyone involved. Clothing and sets just look ridiculous; it's like they couldn't decide what century they wanted to be in so mashed them all together. I'm not one for fight scenes (more into romance, which this is not) and whatnot, but these ones were just stupid. Don't really know how to describe it, but there is nothing realistic about them.
This show also comes off as being market towards young adults/teenagers, but I would not let anyone under 18 watch this. Not that I would recommend it to any adults, but still.

Nothing authentic about this
This show is full of things from other popular movies, shows and books. Divergent, The Hunger Games, Bridgerton, The Handmaid's Tale, an so many more, there's literally nothing original or authentic about this show, and every character has been tokenized! We black people don't need you to take characters from other races and blackwash them for us. We need you to use our original works and to create more for us! We've had so many great books released by black authors with black characters in recent years, and you couldn't pick one of them and make an amazing show for everyone? Instead you put money into this unoriginal flop!

While this is not exactly the same as the books of the same name, it is an incredibly entertaining and fun vampire series. There's no shortage of genres, including action, romance, fantasy, and political intrigue, all held together by a wonderful and compelling cast. Highly recommend it so far.

I read the books as a teen and the show brings that universe to life in his own way, you can really see those thing in the screen. It's amazing

I can't seem to wrap my head around some of this professional reviews. Sure there may be terms you don't know right away, but if you're expecting everything to be explained to you on a single episode then it makes me wonder how shows like GoT ever got the near 100% reviews it did!? The show is engaging and fun, follows a very similar storyline from the movie, but takes things to another level. I really hope the network listens to the people and not the so called "professionals"

It’s not good. Should’ve known Julie Plec wouldn’t deliver on bringing the book to life properly.

AMAZING!! I was blown away by the first 4 episodes of this show. I’m a die hard book fan, became a fan when I was 11 in 2014 when the movie came out, and I have been Obsessed with Vampire Academy and Richelle mead since then. The show follows a different timeline than the books and I think that was a great choice because as a book fan I don’t know what’s going to happen next, but I can make theories and predictions based on the books and what we have so far, it’s exciting. The cast is INCREDIBLE, the acting is great, J August Richards is phenomenal as Victor Dashkov. You can FEEL Sisi stringers love for the books coming through the screen. I love the fact that while the show starts BEFORE book 1, we are getting fan favourite moments from all 6 books. It works great on screen. The sets look amazing, I love the regality and elegance of the Moroi dorms and the difference between that and the industrial modern style Dhampir living quarters. It works so well, I can SEE the books come to life on screen even if it’s not the EXACT same story and plot. Julie Plec and the rest of the team did a great job bringing these books to life in a way that’s new and fresh and unexpected but feels so nostalgic and true to the stories that Richelle wanted to tell. Richelle mead herself likes the show, that’s promising. It’s 10000x better than the movie. We need multiple seasons!! The only criticisms I have are that I don’t love some of the cgi effects, the glowing eyes, the golden compulsion and the psi hounds. I also don’t love the feeders, it seems overly sexual for breakfast time, the clinical setting in the movie was more my style. But overall, the actors are great, the writing isn’t bad, the sets are amazing, the costumes are incredible, and I’m getting to see stuff I wanted to from the books played out on screen. I’m a fan, I love it. It’s only season 1, small things can be changed and fixed for later seasons, I’ve decided I’m going to LOVE this show with all my heart and defend it against all the haters️
