Old top gear was better then all of these new ones that are popping up everywhere. Old top gear with Jeremy, James, and Richard is the best television programe to ever exist.

The Clarkson, Hammond, and May era of Top Gear was what got me into cars, and the reason I began to watch British TV. When they departed, the show significantly declined, as Clarkson, Hammond, and May had a comradery and differing styles which each complimented each other like no other car show has been able to accomplish, and I am counting their new Grand Tour series. From their cheap car challenges, to their Specials, I can't even think of how many times I've watched them, with the Africa Special being one of the best hour-long special episodes I can recall.

The seasons of Top Gear from 2003 to 2014 with the awesome threesome of Jeremy Clarkson, Richard Hammond, and James May are what put this show on the map. In that time period, you got an uniquely special host chemistry, crazy and ridiculous challenges, (usually with junker cars) and much more. The spirit of this era of Top Gear lives on in Amazon's The Grand Tour where the same awesome threesome hosts it.

Jeremy Clarkson , Richard Hammond and James may , and cars , is there anything that can get better

I don't really like cars, but I forgot about that every time I watched this show as I was **** into the passion, interest, and hilarity of the show hosts, and the auto world.

New Top Gear 3/10. Old Top Gear 9/10. So glad the slow dead is over now. Sorry ^^

The best thing to exist since the video game. and I shouldn't need to explain why.

The funniest show on tv. Also amazing cars. But it's great fun. A legend of a show, with nothing coming close to its character and Appeal

New Topgear 5/10. Old top gear 9/10. Sorry. The series should have ended when the 'big 3' left. The BBC should have scrapped top gear and made another show about cars, where they had an original idea then maybe they could make something fresh. Sadly, the new show just doesn’t stand up to it's predecessor.
