Hilariously poor racist self own. It is very hard not to root for the supposed villains when they were proven to be correct all along, and their actions are largely justified. Plot synopsis: Black family moves to affluent white area. White families are unhappy about this because they believe that black people commit crimes and take drugs, and this will ruin the idyllic neighbourhood that they have built from scratch. The white families take measures to make the black family leave. When these attempts don’t work, the white families gradually leave and are replaced by more black families. The once affluent town becomes the murder, ****, drug and crime capital of america. Can someone remind me again who the bad guys are?

Watching **Them** was an intense experience that really drew me in. From the start, the show had this eerie, unsettling vibe that kept me on edge, and the way it blends supernatural horror with real-world racism was powerful. The performances were top-notch, especially from the main cast, who brought a lot of depth and emotion to their roles. What I really appreciated was how the show tackled heavy themes without shying away from the harsh realities of the era. It made me think and feel in ways I didn’t expect. The storytelling was gripping, with each episode pulling me deeper into the mystery and tension.Overall, **Them** was a haunting and thought-provoking watch that stayed with me long after the credits rolled. It’s definitely not your typical horror series, and I loved it for that.

Contrived, manipulative, and offensive. I suppose those words could describe many television shows of the past few years. They especially refer to this one, Them. I'm on episode 5 of season 1 and I'm finding it a torture to get through. The acting is superb though, along with the setting, wardrobe, and production value, which makes it particularly annoying as how there's nothing really here to grab onto storywise. I do believe racism like this existed but do I want to watch it and relive it constantly? Humans have been horrible to other humans since the beginning. Look at the Holocaust, or the bombing of Hiroshima. Or pretty much any holy war that's ever been fought in the name of religion. I'd like to think that humans are finally moving forward as a more enlightened species (don't get me wrong as I know there's still plenty of idiots out there) but you cannot keep forcing the horendous injustices of the past onto the children of tomorrow. That WILL fuel hatred and unease and it always morphs into hate-baiting and fear-mongering. By the way, there's only been a microscopic dose of horror in this self-titled horror series. If that improves, I'll reconsider giving this show a higher score. For now it's a solid 4.

Not sure what to say about the first season of THEM, which I started watching after finishing the exemplary and riveting second season. While season 2 had no shortage of heavy-handed quote-unquote "thematic" elements, it was generally a fantastic genre exercise, a play on Nightmare on Elm Street and Candyman, but with it's own unique identity and vibe. Season **** so insanely over-the-top from minute one that it was immediately difficult to take seriously. I'm all for unpacking racism, but the white characters here are all, to a one, grotesque, oversimplified stereotypes. This degree of hyperbole distills racism into a kind of vaudevillian spectacle almost totally decoupled from reality. I'm glad that Little Marvin was given a second opportunity to up his game, as season 2 really is outstanding. I'm just as glad that I gave up on his first effort two episodes in. This **** good.

Com um roteiro coeso e ótima exploração e desenvolvimento dos personagens e da trama é fácil dizer que essa é uma das melhores séries do prime

Yes, it's kinda rip off of J.P. aesthetic, cinematography and storylines but it's well done. The cast did an excellent job. However, I am not convinced by the ending. Entertaining overall, good cinematography and great acting, a little bit graphic at times.

I give points for acting and the production because it really is quite well done but I went into watching it knowing I wouldn't like it and I found it gratuitous and most of the people who have given it a high rating are virtue signaling to a degree i find disgusting. I've also read a number of reviews of black people who have found it to be trauma porn so don't bother to say i'm not listening.

After watching two episodes, 'Them' is just an OK series. Before it, 'Lovecraft Country' managed to get my attention with an over-the-top but extremely relevant concept. This series echoes that HBO show (and 'Get Out' too), but so far I've seen nothing new or highly engaging. I'll keep watching, but I'm not sure if 'Them' will deliver.

It’s a bit of a mixed bag due to so many elements are combined in one. The main cast does a great job including the child actors. I am hoping they win some Emmys. The show does a great way of showing the impact of racism on a person’s mental health. It also tries to look at how does oppression moves from one person to another, from generation to generation. It’s creepy, haunting, raw, and at the same time very sad.

"Them" was a need to see depiction on racism and the American dream. I enjoyed it, it was raw, it was uncut, with a little craziness/ horror but I saw the truth that the sorry was telling. A lot of people are not ready. I been ready. The truth is the truth! Thanks to the creators of this masterpiece!
