[copied from my old account] This spin-off show, featuring my single favourite character from the main show, is an ambitious and phenomenal masterpiece that you can clearly see the crew and actors involved were incredibly passionate about. As always, Norman Reedus does a fantastic job at playing Daryl Dixon in this reprised role, and does a particularly outstanding job at presenting the more serious sides of Daryl that were perhaps clouded Over in the main show with his hilarious little quips and bold but hysterical responses.

Resulta muy interesante conocer el mundo apocalíptico desde otra parte del mundo. La duración es adecuada, los nuevos personajes funcionan bien y el apartado visual destaca. Si te gusta The Walking Dead, definitivamente es una serie que debes ver.

Yeah, a “Native American” woman riding a horse with a cowboy hat undoubtedly represents Spain, lol. They always pick/make up actors to match the “Spanish” concept that the Yankees have (Mexican type / flamenco gypsy dancer at best). I had never seen Noriega so tanned in my life… Was it really necessary to show such arid and dry areas so that it also looks like Mexico? It’s absurd, especially considering the north and Galicia, one of the greenest and rainiest regions in Europe. Spain is the most mountainous country in the EU, and the third most forested! Ahead of France in both (and not only in percentage, but also in net hectares of forest). And I insist I’m talking only about Spain, not the Iberian Peninsula. If we add Portugal, the numbers skyrocket. Always the same clichés that have nothing to do with Spain and everything to do with the “Spanish” concept they have in the US. Resident Evil 4 masterfully recreates an atmosphere of zombies and villages from empty Spain and dark Spain. The Japanese did a brilliant job, far superior to this pathetic series.

This show is truly walking dead. It should have been canceled years ago. But somehow it keeps getting renewed and resurrected. It lives on even though deep down it died long ago. There is nothing here. Let it rest in peace.

مسلسل رائع جدا وبه الكثير من التساؤلات حول بداية الوباء في فرنسا ولذلك ارتباط وثيق بالموسم الأول من مسلسل الموتى السائرون

Probably the best of the 3 recent spin off series. It's restored my faith in the franchise after the lackluster ending to the main series and the disappointing Rick and Michonne limited series. It's refreshing to see a Walking Dead show in a place that's clearly not America. It's pretty much a Daryl Dixon roadtrip across zombie infested France. The 6 episode limit removed all of the filler you used to get in the main series, so it's all plot from start to finish. The decayed scenery/sets are top notch. The acting is pretty good and they've clearly thought out how places without guns would handle a zombie apocalypse. It's also refreshing to see a wider and more dangerous types of zombies.

Honestly so boring. At first I was intrigued but I feel asleep around episode 3. I had high hopes.

Never expected Daryl of all people to get stuck in a biblethumper story, but here we are. Protected by heavy plot armor and the boy who is the key to everything, he grunts his way through France. Very meh.

Series was beautifully shot, but overall the story was just okay. Clémence Poésy (Isabelle) was a nice addition to the Walking Dead universe, but she wasn’t enough to hold my interest.

I can say that I wasn't expecting much from this series, but I loved it. For those who don't know Walking Dead, it is a post-capocalyptic world full of zombies. The plot revolves around Daryl who is involved in a mission to protect a girl to take her to a specific place. A story full of action and survival. The characters who get together with the protagonist make him evolve throughout the story and become more involved in helping the girl because she is actually special and she may be the key to the cure. Also, There are great moments of tension and reveal mysteries that were not told to you in the original series. By the way, those who say that it is the same as The Last of Us series are not true. Yes, it is true that he tries to protect a girl who could be the cure, like the other series, but from there, the similarities disappear. In addition, what I liked about the series was the relationship between Daryl and the girl, however I didn't like so much some episodes that didn't have as much action as the original but for the rest I liked it. The ending was satisfying, without a doubt. One of the best endings I've seen in a long time. I definitely recommend it

It starts out well enough. The first 45 minutes had me about as engaged as I had been in a Walking Dead show since the early seasons of the original, aside from some silliness early in the opening scenes. Unfortunately, however, the show quickly reverts to using cheap plot contrivances, bad dialogue and irrational character behaviour. The "explanation" for Daryl somehow ending up on another continent is approximately as absurd as the first episode's ending sequence featuring an oceanliner that is apparently still in service. I guess the writers forgot to explain to us somewhere along the line how diesel fuel is still being produced 14 years post-apocalypse. Essentially, it's just like every other Walking Dead show. To its credit, it doesn't appear to be overly woke - though the main villain introduced at the end of the episode has me questioning that assertion. Overall it's not terrible, but if you were already sick of the bad writing in the later seasons of the original show, the Fear spinoff, or the World Beyond spinoff, you're probably not going to like this one much either, because it seems to be written in much the same way. 5/10.

Daryl was never my favorite character and he's not the one that makes this an interesting show imo. I've watched a lot of TWD and its spinoffs and most got somewhat stale after a while, but this looks like it could be good. I really enjoyed the first two episodes and am looking forward to more.

I'm French and was intrigued, having given up on TWD in what it feels 30 years ago or so. However, the atrocious acting and dialogues, the pitiful lack of effort in decor and make up makes this show unwatchable after 5 minutes (where we see Daryl going in Les Baux de Provence and what looks like Sète). The plot had potential (A riff on The Last of Us) but alas it is misconstrued.
