It's watchable. I really like Quincy Tyler Bernstine. She keeps the show alive. Scoot McNairy is fine too. The rest of the actors are abysmal.

This is so beyond gone. It makes me feel sick to watch this. What a disgrace to Gene Roddenberrys legacy.

I would give this even less than 0 if I could. If I think about the worst most annoying shows of the last few years, this makes it to the top ten of that list. Who is this for? Why does this exist? This belongs to the trash bin.

I had to change my review from 10/10 to 4/10 after season 4 and 5 came out. This show started off great. I liked the episodic format. It felt a lot like old trek. But they ruined it. Star Trek is so done, they don't have any idea what do do with this show. It needs a complete reboot with new writers and producers. Scrap that whole new timeline garbage and make a show that plays in the old TOS, TNG,... universe. This is beyond garbage. It is unusable garbage with teen drama writing and no depth to it whatsoever. This show is anti-progressive. It tries to portrait itself as progressive but it fails. Old trek took risks. This one does not. It pushes trashy visuals in your face and produces like 6 episodes every year where each episode costs multi million dollars but produces nothing. We need old trek. 30 episodes per year, each with a minimal budget. No crappy VFX. Just good writing and acting. This show needs imagination which all the new writers lack. And for the love of god, stop with the obnoxious lens flares.

One may have different views about Gervais. But undoubtedly he did make some fun and great comedy in the past. I don't know what happened here. This is cringe. It is unfunny. Bland and boring. I don't understand what he tried to do here. This should have not continued after the pilot. What a colossal waste of time.

I don't know if this is supposed to be a drama or a comedy. I don't think the writers know. The acting is horrendous. Maybe on purpose but it makes the whole thing very bland. There are clearly some talented actors in this. But it is such a mix or talent and incompetence that I don't know where they are going with this. I like they mystery aspect but this is so overshadowed by boring romance and teen crap it is insufferable.

You know when someone throws up and **** at the same time? But not in the slightly sexual weird way but in the vile, disgusting and gross re-pungent way? This is worse than that.

The first season is great. Seasons 2-4 are pretty meh. I would recommend to just watch the first season and be happy.

It is ok. But gosh, the morse code stuff is pretty dumb especially if you know some morse code.

This show is truly walking dead. It should have been canceled years ago. But somehow it keeps getting renewed and resurrected. It lives on even though deep down it died long ago. There is nothing here. Let it rest in peace.

Well, it is just one episode so far, but it has not excited me yet. Furthermore the books of Brian Herbert (Frank's son) aren't that great either. I might watch more and update my review if the show improves. Also the bad makeup for some of the actors is quite distracting.

I had so much hope for Season 2. Season 1 was great, finally star trek like TOS and TNG used to be. Season 2 is a very mixed bag. Some episodes are ok, some are complete trash, and then there is the cross-over episode with Lower Decks ...

It has some cringe moments and it is quite bad. By itself it would not deserve the 8/10 I gave it. But because the first two seasons were so horribly bad (0 Points each) and this is surprisingly and refreshingly ok, I had to give it some credit. They tried to fix what was wrong with the first two seasons and I give credit for that.

Not really sure why this should be called "Lord of the Rings" at all. Just call it something else. As a LotR series it deserves 0 points. And what's up with the grading of the video? The colors look washed out and the contrast is all wrong. The CGI looks like from some cheap computer game form 2000. Everyone in the series seems to be a jerk. Very much in contrast to anything Tolkien.

What happened? Did they watch Episode 1-3 and had a brain aneurysm before they wrote this show? Did they want to prove that it is possible to make something even worse than Episode 1? Did they want to hire as many bad actors as they could all at once? Is this an april fools joke? Addendum: The performance of Ewan McGregor, Moses Ingram and Rupert Friend is great; this won't fix the terrible writing, story, world building though. Also just because there are some series that are able to cast children convincing and successfully (Stranger Things for example) does not mean anyone can do it; and clearly both the writers and child-actors fail terribly in this regard here. They really did not learn from Episode 1.

Finally star trek as it was and as it should be. A much needed refreshment after the disappointments that were ST:Disc S1 and Picard: S1

It is like every season, the writers make a bet about how much worse they can make the show without anything happening. Season 4 now tops it with everything: Bad acting, stupid story, bad science, boring characters, too much lens flares, boring action instead of any meaningful philosophical story, bad sound effects,...

Season 1-3 are great and then comes the big disappointment that is Season 4. Season 4 deserves 0 points. This season is a big departure both in terms of story telling and acting from the previous seasons. The actress who plays the nurse is just annoying. The story does not really hold together. Feels more like some ideas thrown together without much structure. E'myri Crutchfield is probably the only good actress here.

Complete and utter crap. Don't waste your time with this. Acting is horrendous. The story **** and is boring. The only thing that is halfway decent is the cinematography.

While the series is interesting from a political standpoint and gives a look at australias horrible detention centers, this series fails as a tv series. The acting is bad, and the writing is boring. This would have been quite ok as a movie. But I got quite bored after 2 episodes and just wanted it to end or something interesting to happen. But the whole thing is just too stretched out. After reading about the true story that this series is based upon, also I was wondering why the series writers choose to change so much of the story. For example they changed the name of the main protagonist and also changed the name of the cult she joined from Kenja Communication to GOPA. Which is quite odd especially considering that GOPA is a real organisation too.

I really wanted to like this. But unfortunately I do not. There is nothing Star Trek about this series. Note: The first two seasons are absolutely terrible. Nothing good about them. Huge waste of time. However, the third season is comparably and surprisingly decent. If you want to watch it, only watch the third season. It is not like TNG but it is quite ok and nice to see everyone make an appearance again.

Given the fact how awfully bad Season 1 was. There has been quite an improvement in this season. Maybe only the fact that now we have Captain Pike makes this already better. As this new character is way better than anything from season 1 and it got some nice TOS feel about it. Also so far they went back to the traditional star trek way of having each episode a different story which makes it already more interesting. The whole boring klingon arc is out of the way now. So far so good. Will update again if I know more. Not too sure what to think about them putting Spock into the show as this looks like just some kind of fan-service (which is something I mostly hate). And the trailers for the new season **** quite a lot. But so far not much of the **** in the show.

As there probably can be expected after 8 seasons, there is not much more to do in the show. The same old formulas are repeated again, nothing new or interesting ever actually happens. This show needs a game of thrones moment where half of the main cast is killed and replaced (but this probably wont happen). Half of the time this show makes you cringe, the logic flaws and writing generally is stupid and just following the same predictable formulas (almost kill some main character even though we know it wont happen, then kill some minor characters noone cares about). This season looks like they try to make one of the main characters the villain (which is in principle a good idea) but here it just makes you dislike everyone of the characters. You can not really identify with any of them and do not care what happens to them. just finish the show already and do something different.

I give this show 10 points simply because there are many people voting 0 just because the show hurts their political oppinion. That being said, unfortunately the show is not particularly funny. I miss the time when Cohen (as Ali G or Borat) asked stupid and funny questions and got people to react in weird ways. Back then the humor came from the silly reactions of people and the humor felt more natural. This time Cohen really tries to force some particular funny situation in every interview, but this simply does not work well in most cases. Most of the time people just go along with his sillyness not because they particularly agree with it but just out of goodwill. There was a lot of potential here to make a great show out of this, but it kind of failed by using too much scripted ideas instead of just going with the flow and finding out what happens later.

C'mon netflix what is it that you lately make this terrible shows. Boring characters. Just whining all the time. Not using their brain even for one second. Everything in the show is predictable.

First episode was a huge disappointment. But wait! Things got way better in the second episode. You can in fact just safely skip the first one. The second episode I would give a 7/10 rating. But I did not expect it to get much better, after all it is x-files and old actors and stuff. But then came episode 3 which was truly amazing and deserves 10/10 points. It may be not your usual x-files episode. But everything in it is just perfect. I hope they can keep up with the quality in the forthcoming episodes.

Just cancel it already. Should have known when I saw the list of actors that this will be not worth watching. Watched 1 and a half episodes regardless. But that is enough. I had to switch off halfway into the second episode after there was an incredibly obvious and annoying product placement. "They are Sennheisers, Oh my god". I will see that new movie about drying paint instead.

It is not getting any better. The first episode consists mainly of boring black and white flashbacks. And the plot is predictable and uninteresting. It is interesting that "Fear the walking dead" quickly overtook this show in quality by far.

It is a nicely done show. Acting is mostly great so far. It looks like the writes of the show took the time to read a linux for dummies book or something like that or ask someone who knows about computers and stuff. If the show can keep up with the quality of the pilot or even improve it a bit, it will be a great show. EDIT: After second episode. I don't know what happened but the second episode is much worse than the fist one, kind of surprised because I really liked the pilot.

This show is a huge embarrassment to every Persian and the Persian community in the US. Another garbage show from Bravo TV. There is nothing really to add to what the other reviewers said. Just awful. But what is wrong with this doesn't just stop at the show itself: Bravo (the channnel producing the show) fired the entire editorial staff after they asked to be put under a union contract. Firing employees who are engaged in "protected union activity" is illegal. It is a violation of the National Labor Relations Act for an employer to retaliate in any way against employees for their exercising their rights under the law.

I used to like this series a lot. Seasons 1-3 were great. Season 4 so far is a complete turnover of the show. Everything that made the previous seasons so great was removed. The show has been turned into a kind of copy of 24. But with a hysterical, crazy person as the main lead actor. While in previous seasons the focus was on who are the good guys who are the bad guys? is Broady a good or bad guy? etc.. in this season the bad guys are very clearly pinpointed. This season appears to be very reflective of the current US. foreign policy and warmongering and general racist sentiment in the US. That one of the main lead actors was killed of in the last season does not bother me too much. What bothers me is, that anything related to the questions and stories unfolded in previous episodes is just left unanswered and put behind as resolved. The show made a change, what made it good before is gone.

While the beginning was really boring, and I did not have much expectations for this show, as the season progressed it gradually got more interesting, and I kind of started to like it. It is kind of like Lost, just less well written and with worse acting, but nevertheless fun to watch.

I was hoping they would cancel that show. But it even gets worse this season. Bad acting, unbelievably stupid science, totally boring stories. I can barely think of any worse show currently on tv.

(UPDATED: After watching more episodes, I have to agree, this season is definitely better than the last season, whole religion crap is largely gone (god thanks), also the actors took some acting classes (thanks!), CGI is still bad, concept/story is still unrealistic and stupid. But I have to change my review now from 0 points to 1 because it is definitely an improvement, congrats!!) The original review follows: Until now, (after two episodes) it is just as bad as the previous season. Watching it is a huge waste of time. Some people might like the CGI, but compared to Battlestar Galactica it is lame.

nice costumes. story and acting is very lame. season 1 was quite good, at least the first half part of it. but season 2, nothing happens here. I watched 4 episodes, and there was basically no story at all. amc can do definitely better than this. I can't understand how this show could get such good reviews.

the last 'spielberg' sci fi show I watched (taken) was great, and I had hopes for this one. but I was disappointed almost instantly. the characters acting is really bad, and the special effects of the show are not better. the atmosphere is too nicely for the kind of situation those people are in. the people almost seem as if they are not afraid at all. There is no suspence, nothing gory. Quite boring all in all. UPDATE: well, after watching two more episodes, I change my rating from 3 to 0 points for this show.

I'm not a fan of vampire shows. But this one is probably the best out there. It has interesting characters and doesn't centre only on vampires. There are also other 'creatures' involved. What I didn't like was, that each season is one story the seasons themselves do not connect to a greater story line. also everything seems to be very linear, it is like watching someone play a computer game, where at the end they defeat the big monster.

I was sceptical at first if a fantasy tv show would be the right thing to watch. I had seen many bad examples in my childhood, like xena,... . but soon after starting to watch, the show had my full attention. the show has everything from bloodbath to zombies to sex. can't wait to see the next season.

great show, one of the best sci-fi shows even today. the last episode is one of the best show endings in tv history and can be considered a good example of how a show ending should be.

star trek: tng was probably one the best sci-fi series at the time and still one of the best. even though some of the episodes were boring, and the effects were lame compared to today's standards, the show had many philosophical elements and reflections on today's society, and how and what we could do better.

after watching all battlestar gallactica episodes, I was very much looking forward to this show. but I was disappointed from the beginning to the end. the show is very slow paced. and it seems to be some kind of teen show. almost everything good known from battlestar galactica was missing. except those stupid religious elements, they had to keep those of course. this whole series could have been done in two episodes, and it would have been a lot more fun I guess. there are no dark elements anymore, no suspense/tension during the whole show. it is more similar to gilmore girls than to battlestar galactica. if there was in battlestar gl. at least some plausible science, then here you will find none of that. don't watch this show, or you will be wasting your time.

One of the best sci-fi shows in years. The effects were done great. And I loved how the show had a quite dark and dystopian atmosphere I really hated the religious elements though, this was quite annoying from the beginning to the end.

I found this one of the best shows in quite a while. the acting was great and the story was quite near to the reality it seamed. it was a sad decision to cancel the show.

the show had a very promising beginning. and I had hopes for it, but after a few episodes it started to become quite boring, and it lacks the good acting and depth of shows like breaking bad or mad men.

nice camera work and good acting. but compared to the original show, there are much more 'inconsistencies' and some rather weird and unbelievable story twists. it doesn't manage to build up the same atmosphere that one finds in the original show.
